  1. don't forget, stay away from most of the ugly people in FE worlds because they want to kill/etc. to you. Unless they're butt ugly and speak in broken speecj, like Gonzo!
  2. fried steak? I've never gotten one to taste good that way.
  3. don't forget SquarexNintendo with SUper Mario RPG, if that counts. Soulcaliber 2 with Link too!
  4. fe5 is the best fe because you can steal everything if you're bigger than the rest.
  5. fe5 with a build blessed Lifis is really fun. I remember stealing the shit out of all the rare weapons early on.
  6. I want to say Volstagg, but I can't find the padding. also, I'd need to have white skinn and red hair.
  7. There's nothing wrong with a little escapism once in a while. I do it almost daily for about an hour. I haven't had a game was was close to being a true experience since I beat Shining Force 2 almost a year ago. Besides, moderation is key. How about this, it's completely possible to view video games as being both an experience and a bit of escapism. To bring up a sort of parallel [Probably the wrong use of the word.], Pulp Fiction was a popular means of entertainment, and was viewed as escapism back in the '30s. Quite a few stories that were originally published in said Pulps [And their precursors, serial mags, dime novels, etc.] went on to be recognized as damn good works of fiction. [Hammet's Maltese Falcon, Chandler's Long Goodbye, and Dumas' Three Musketeers were first publish under said circumstances.] Over time, various works of what were called "trashy escapist hogwash" became accepted as literary classics. [i'm pretty damn certain that's a huge number of people have read the Three Musketeers. Hell, I'm pretty sure most of Dicken's stuff was published in magazines/sheets early on.] give it 20 or 30 more years, and we could be treating great games like we treat classic film.
  8. I've heard good things about Endless Legend being a great alternative to civ be, can anyone illuminate me as to why?? Most reviews just say that it does the things civ be wanted to do, and does them right.
  9. I kinda identify with aspects of Hank Pym, Hawkman, and Don Quixote. When I was a kid, I identified with Billy Batson.
  10. I'm very protective of my game stuff. I won't let children that come over use my wii/wii u because I don't trust kids to take care of things.
  11. I'm pretty sure a Titania+Ike solo is possible in HM.
  12. I'll put this in the list of "Games I should get down the line".
  13. the whole thing with this thread can be solved by just going to a professional who can answer your concerns soul. hell, it can't be hard to go to your doctor about this.
  14. Jill is a contender for best unit in the game, a position that's contested only by Haar. high move and flight tend to do this. Tauroneo isn't bad, but his availability kinda kills him. Since by the time he comes back in p3, you could have a t3 Nolan/Jill/Edward/Aran mopping up things in EM/NM, or a t3 Jill/Nolan in HM. You could do far worse than Tauroneo, such as using the following: Lethe Lyre Kyza Meg Fiona Tormod and Co. He's also around for longer than : Reynold, Cain, and Giffca. [but laguz royals are meant to help cheese endgame anyways.]
  15. Hearing aids and a shitton of batteries. Pens+Pencils, and a few notebooks. I'd also try bringing a bottle of chloroform, and a bottle of hallucinogenic drugs to deal with certain situations I might get into. A hanky, and a microfiber clock. Oh and a lighter, and a lot of the flammable stuff I have in my room [chemistry shit], a lot of rags, sealant, and lots of string, wire, and a big ol barong. oh yeah, and the antique bear trap my family has. Add something to sub for currency. I do hope molotovs work against armour knights. Maybe I can use them on Wyverns too.
  16. Seconding Chrono Cross, but Chrono Trigger has good music too. Actraiser 1 has a pretty good ost too.
  17. you can also do SainxFLorina, and RebeccaxNino. Hell, Canasxnino exists too
  18. Any of the golden age actors, I don't care if it's John Wayne playing a Mongolian in The Conqueror, I just enjoy the oldies. Throw in any of the John Ford crew to the list of actors I'll always go see. Anything by Orson Welles. Nowadays, Patrick Stewart, Will Smith, Kirk Douglas, Robert Duvall, Liam Neeson, maybe Hugh Jackman if it's not a musical [Les Misarables the musical was a little surreal experience for me]. Others that I enjoy and aren't lumpable with the golden age of film. Timothy Hutton [That Nero Wolfe show was so good.]. Any of the Star Trek OG cast, even though their 70s stuff is cheesy and terribad. It's kind of a guilty pleasure to see Shatner's acting as the villain. John Candy, Bill Murray, and any of the original SNL crew etc. The question can refer to seeing movies even if the actors are dead, right? I mean I'll take a look through a case full of movies, look at the box cover, and then make my decision based on the actors credited. I think the only movie I've ever seen that had actors I've never heard of is The Quatermass and the Pit.
  19. Ahhh, I wanted to get that game, but I don't have the cash to buy steam points, nor can I get it through paypal because I'm not in the USA. Guess I'll get it during the summer sale.
