I believe it was that 5 IVs from the parents' IV pool are passed down assuredly, instead of 3(2?). So instead of 3(2?) IVs of the 12 from the parents being automatically passed down, it becomes 5/12 being passed down.

Yeah. So apparently we're getting event legends by the names of Hoopa, Diancie, and Volcanion. Diancie or Hoopa sound like they can be the "Mew" of this generation, while Volcanion could be the "Deoxys".

Route 13 is the worst route in the game. There are way too many wild Pokemon encounters, in which two of them have Arena Trap, and the "randomly rushing winds" or whatever mechanic sucks. To clarify for those who haven't experienced it, you move very slow if you try to go left in any way, and a little less slowly if you try to move down, except for down-right. It doesn't affect battles at all either, except for making it easier for the Pokemon to catch you in the overworld, which also makes it annoying, and you can't even get rid of it like fog from DPPt.

Does anybody have any idea why some Pokedex entries (only right after a new Pokemon is caught) have different colors? Like it being red, or green, etc.?

Okay, so I just caught a Tauros while trying to find a Pinsir, and the Pokedex description had a red background for some reason. Is there a reason on why that happened? Or was just some random thing? Oh, and do Critical Captures seem to happen a lot more often in this game? I've gotten like 6 in a very short amount of time while trying to fill out the dex, and it's getting crazy.

If I'm remembering which trick you're talking about, then just barely push the circle pad. You'll start with the normal rush, but wait a little bit while still barely pushing, and you'll start hearing the swishing of it. Just keep it barely pushed, and you should be good. It's pretty cool once you get the hang of it.

Huh, unless Fennekin doesn't learn any moves until at least level 11, the Day Care doesn't teach your Pokemon their level up moves. I guess that solves the problem of accidentally losing a move because of the Day Care, but it's pretty weird. Oh, and if someone could pretty please breed a Charmander and PM me so I can get Charmeleon for the Kalos Dex, I would greatly appreciate it.

Weird, Greninja tries to relearn Water Shuriken at level 75. I know that Pokemon sometimes have moves attempted to be learned twice, but one of them was always (from what I know of) was a level 1 move. Do the other starters attempt to relearn their signature moves at around the same level?

Mmm, 170 Sp. Atk & 130 Spd. Mega Gengar pretty darn good looking. Ooh, Prankster + Spikes. Klefki I can feel might be UU. Talonflame's Level 1 moves rock. Yay, free Mega Gardy (kinda-somewhat). Though by the sounds of it, Mega Gallade feels less likely imo. Dang Gogoat, I thought you have pretty good speed. He looks alright otherwise. Aurorus looks pretty eh also. Xerneas looks awesome. Kinda weird how both Xerneas and Yveltal seem to be like mixed sweepers. Power Herb!Geomancy seems pretty awesome for it. Cool, a nice special Flying move for Noivern. Freeze Dry looks pretty cool. Shame that it doesn't feel that likely that many others besides Aurorus will get it. It's just a feeling. Well that's gonna send the metagame through a loop, considering the popularity of weather teams. Shame that Mega Charizard Y got Drought when it gets nerfed the same gen. Dedenne, why do you suck? It's like inferior to Heliolisk in every way. I had faith (for a while) in you.

Yes, Black and White (maybe it was only in B2W2, I don't fully remember) changed the EV mechanic in the way that EVs are automatically added in after the battle. This can lead to circumstances where after beating up, say, an Audino, you may notice in the next battle your pokemon might not be at full HP, even though they were full when the last battle ended.

Hm, I didn't even know that Gardy could get Hyper Voice. Okay, so that's a definite option. Oh, and most likely it will be a 50% boost, because it would change the move into a Fairy move, so it would get STAB from it then.

Dang, Mega Gardevoir doesn't seem that bad. Except its ability seems like it sucks. Does Gardy get anything that's really worth being Pixilated? I love MMX. And thankfully he has some good physical moves that can be learned: Drain Punch, EQ, Elemental Punches, Stone Edge, Low Sweep/Bulldoze I guess, Zen Headbutt/Psycho Cut maybe. Plus he can still use Special moves as great as he did before.

Apparently Kanpachi has confirmed that Togepi becomes pure Fairy, and so its evolutions are 99% likely to be Fairy/Flying. I don't have a link to a post from Kanpachi, but I saw it talked about in that one NeoGAF thread.
