  1. Uh, I think dynamic growths (from FE11) may be a thing again. Being a miserable recluse with nothing better to do, I was collecting more data on Luck asset, HP flaw Avatars. I had an Avatar apparently gain no luck for the first 4 level-ups, and then WHAM! +2 luck on level 5. [spoiler=Photoshopped Picture] Edit: I am a horrible person and I apologize for my unprofessionalism and disrespect towards this project. :(
  2. It's not too much different than what you have now. Compared to your tree, the main difference is that the (Merc, Myrm), (Fighter, Brigand), and (Soldier, Knight) pairs no longer share a promotion between them. One member of the pair gets a bow promotion (Myrm -> Assassin, Fighter -> Warrior, Soldier -> Halberdier), and the other member remains in specializing their primary weapon (Merc -> Swordmaster, Brig -> Berserker, Knight -> Sentinel). Then I just added in the unpromoted bow classes (Archer, Hunter) and had their promotions tie in with the other bow promotions.
  3. Oh! But if FE7 is released on the WiiU the game gets access to Miiverse! You can interact with other Fire Emblem fans online! Gee, I wish there was a website where you could do that now.
  4. Meanwhile, the rest of the world will be lucky if FE7 ever becomes available in the eShop.
  5. Oh, I like all FE's somewhat equally. Although, what do I know, FE11 is my favourite so I clearly have no idea what I am talking about.
  6. Another Avatar shipment coming in hot and fresh. 20 Avatars. HP asset, Luck flaw. Level 1 --> Level 20 Tactician. 7. MULTIPLE TEAMS!!! Yeah, I know Radiant Dawn didn't do this perfectly, but I still like the concept. I like the idea of the war being fought on two different fronts and having the story's perspective switch between them. It can also force more characters to be relevant to gameplay. Like, imagine if Sacred Stones made you split up your team after ch8 and you played both routes. (Oh no! But we only have 1 Seth!)
  8. Thief + Knife + Horse = Mounted unit trying to attack with a very short reach weapon. It would be both awkward and hilarious. I like the ideas in your initial tree. Here's my take which builds upon your tree and ditches the secondary Archer/Thief tree completely: Myrmidon --> Dread (Sword + Axe) or Assassin (Sword + Bow) Mercenary --> Hero (Sword + Lance) or Swordmaster (Sword) Soldier --> Hero (Lance + Sword) or Halberdier (Lance + Bow) Knight --> General (Lance + Axe) or Sentinel (Lance) Fighter --> General (Axe + Lance) or Warrior (Axe + Bow) Brigand --> Dread (Axe + Sword) or Berserker (Axe) Archer --> Halberider (Bow + Lance) or Sniper (Bow) Hunter --> Warrior (Bow + Axe) or Assassin (Bow + Sword) I didn't include third tier classes. But if each second tier class only has only 1 path, then adding them in would be easy. There is every combination of 2 weapons + the mono-weapon classes. For each dual weapon promoted class, there are corresponding unpromoted classes for each weapon type. Ex: Warrior (Axe + Bow) has Fighter (Axe) and Hunter (Bow) Each mono-weapon promoted class only has 1 unpromoted class associated with it (although I don't see this as a bad thing) For the unpromoted classes that use a "weapon-triangle" weapon, they fall into one of these two categories for their promotion choices: 1. Gain the weapon your primary weapon is good against against OR gain access to bows. (Myrmidon, Solider, Fighter) 2. Gain the weapon your primary weapon is bad against OR go into mono-weapon specialization. (Mercenary, Knight, Brigand) Edit: Err... it might be clearer to say: 1. Classes with a bow choice: can also choose a class which gains a weapon that overcomes the weakness of the unpromoted class's weapon. Ex: Fighter --> General. The newly acquired lances defeat axes' weakness of swords. 2. Classes with a mono choice: can also choose a class which gains a weapon that is strong against the unpromoted class's own weapon. Ex: Brigand --> Dread. The newly acquired swords defeats axes. So a Brigand can specialize in axes (Berserker) or have the option to have an advantage against other axe users (Dread) Actually... that was kinda confusing as well. Whatever. There is some sort of symmetry there and I like it. asdfkjkjdjdiokdejhb!!!
  9. ^ I disable 3D with parental controls so that stupid lit-up '3D' by the slider is turned off. I don't like that light. It distracts me. It annoys me. It mocks me. Mocks my inability to enjoy 3D without getting a headache. (In addition, turning off that light gives me 0.0005 more seconds of battery life!)
  10. In case of diarrhea, drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. :D
  11. Claws are 'weapons' too I guess. Bows need a boost in self-esteem, so we should include Claws on the tier list. Bows beat Claws simply on the basis that playable units can use them.
  12. ^ Yes. Look at what the meanies at GameFaqs said about poor Druddigon. :(
  13. I never understood the rampant hate for Trubbish-Garbodor and the Vanillite family. Plus, Druddigon gets called mean names but I think he looks badass.
  14. Someone go write some code to construct a slot minigame for the hack. Match up 3 portraits and win a Red Gem!
  15. Robin. Because: 1. I am boring and don't enjoy coming up with names. 2. I am not naming the character after myself since the character isn't a no-personality zombie like in Pokemon. (Plus, the game won't let me marry Vaike)
  16. In the next game, the Lord should marry a cannon so the relationship would unquestionably be canon. Also, the cannon fires pies.
  17. But what if my Avatar is actually named "MU" ? For FE13, I have switched over to Avatar, but I prefer MU when talking about FE12.
  18. Most of my favourite Pokemon come from the third generation.
  19. ^ Yeah, I can't stand Ewan's "I wanna help! I wanna help!" whining in Eirika's route. Shinon is totally tsundere. He sells bows on the side to help support his Ikey-poo.
  20. Midia has C Lances/D Swords which makes her one of the few prepromotes (the others being Wolf/Sedgar) to not start with the ability to use a Silver weapon or Excalibur. (Well, I suppose there's the Arms Scroll we get in the same chapter as Midia, but bleh)
  21. Falchion now also functions as a grenade launcher.
  22. Errr... Paralogue 2? No, wait! Chapter 7! ... Actually, Paralogue 2.
  23. ^ That's a bit harsh. We don't know if it was the translators themselves who made the decision. (It was probably Reggie's fault!)
  24. Want the Geitz. Get stuck with the Wallace. Cuz I no like the Lyn and the Eliwood. Mostly go to Jerme. Raven and Lucius kinda cancel each other out, so I guess the early game contributions of Dorko/Barty/Guy win out. Maybe if Canas actually counted as a magic user it could tip the scales, but whatever. Harken > Karel. Brave Sword > Wo Doo-Doo.
