I think this about sums up how I feel about the supports. They're a nice touch, though I will agree that some characters just rehash the same thing over and over (Ala Lon'qu in Awakening, among a few others). Some variety or characters having a bit more backstory together wouldn't hurt at all, as it was mentioned before. However, I'm content with having the variety and choices versus not having them at all. I'll take the watered down supports in the name of pairing variety (children classes, frivolous things like child hair color, spouse combos, etc.) for gameplay purposes, though. Can't have it all.

I wholeheartedly approve of this post, too! Infinite pirouetting army of butlers. It's a shame some 1st-gen pairings don't pass classes to one another. (If what I've read is true, pairings like CharlottexBenoit are pointless. =/)

Well, you have one more possibility I can see outright with Nohr than with Hoshido for access to the Maid/Butler classes. It's not really spoiler-y, with regard to story details, but I've tagged it just in case.

After watching a video with Joker gameplay and falling in love with the Butler's animations, I cannot agree with this post more! Butlers for every male character! \o/

I really need to stop being lazy(and a combination of busy and distracted with life) and finish my Lunatic playthrough, so I can finally get on with Lunatic+. I'm on Chapter 17, but I've been trying to grind the parents up to recruit the children(since I didn't recruit them all on my Hard playthrough). Edit: Thanks for the responses on Lunatic+. I suppose there isn't really a way around keeping the game overly difficult, but I've always found that's the tough part with SRPG's; finding a balance between being god-awful overpowered and getting slaughtered. Still looking forward to it, either way.

I'd have to agree with N7. I'm finally getting back around to playing, and my Lunatic file has been trivialized thanks to farming DLC for gold, exp, items, etc. Though... My sister has been telling me that Lunatic+ is a nightmare no matter how much you grind toward the end of the game. Hmm...

Xjezhekír's not really a human OC of mine, but it's largely a fantasy-based representation of myself, so why not? As one other user said, I'll more than likely be putting myself in the game in the form of a ... I always forget the damn word. A chronicled Avatar? I'm not interested in an asexual representation of myself being capable of marriage or fatherhood in a game, so it works out that way. I'll just create him on a playthrough, get to the point of being able to load him in(not sure when that is, exactly), and then start my actual main save and recruit him later on. I'm still deciding, but probably +Speed or +Res and -STR for Assets and Flaws, respectively.

Alright, so I was reading Morgan's Wiki entry. It says that a Female Morgan can inherit "Special Dance" from Olivia if she's her mother. Aren't "Dance" skills locked onto the Dancer class? Or would she be able to use the skill? Edit: Misread the Wiki. Meant Female Morgan. Sorry!

Between these two, I can't decide who'll be my main, but they'll probably be used in every playthrough together via ... Whatever the feature is called that my brain can't remember right now. IC-wise as far as personal backstory is concerned, they're brothers. So I want them to be together. Actually... I may just make a generic MU for breeding purposes and use these two without supports/etc. Because I'm awesome like that.

I actually bought a 3DS XL the day FE:A was officially revealed, not too long ago. ... Along with Pokemon White 2, Pokemon Conquest, Advanced Wars: Days of Ruin, and Streetfighter X Tekken (Because $20 for my PS3). I will have my SRPG/Tactical fill until FE:A comes out. On top of Guild Wars 2, I should be pretty busy until then. ... Hopefully.

I think I'm with L95 on this one... You do seem quite different than when even I started posting here, Othin. :< On topic: I'll echo what others have said. I'm not crazy about the beach DLC just because of the fanservice, but I'll buy it and probably enjoy it nonetheless. It's like Twiiliere said, been waiting forever for another installment, and I'll take what I can get given that I love the series.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm pretty stupid when it comes to Japanese, ToV being my only entire Japanese gaming experience(My sister's much more familiar and comfortable with the language than I could ever hope to be). I figured "Jano" and "Nanoja/Noja" were just different ways to say the same thing.

I find Grego to be extremely lolsy. He almost reminds me of Jade from TotA in a way... Sort of. I think that's what I love about him. He has that "older and experienced" demeanor, but he seems very lighthearted at the same time with his dry humor and, for lack of a better word, "trolling."

I don't know why, but that was a facet of Patty's characterization that I absolutely loved. I'm not heavy into Japanese character portrayal, archetypes, etc., but I am familiar with things like "desu", "tsundere", "yandere", and so on. I suppose if ToV actually came to America with Patty localized I probably wouldn't enjoy her as much as I did in the Japanese verion(mostly because I didn't really know how to interpret much of her character and backstory). I loved her to death and found her refreshingly humorous in contrast to the typical pervert (Raven), and the clumsy kid (Karol). On the subject of "desu" Nn, I don't think it'll bother me that much given how much I enjoyed Patty's similar tic. Especially when she'd mix it up and say "Jano" instead. Unless, of course, her localization is done horribly. Not that I'm worried that'll happen or anything.

^ This is exactly what I was wondering while looking through the pictures. I'd like to know as well. If only because I'm curious to know if a light-pink haired family is possible on a playthrough. I do have to say I wish more characters had Henry's hair color. It looks great on all of the children I'd want to have it on. Though Vaike's and Gaia's colors look quite nice as well. The only character I'd want with black hair is Nn. Dunno why, she just looks strange to me with any other color. Also wanted to thank the OP and contributors for putting this together! This is a great resource!

I love how it went from "OMG FE: AWAKENING IS CONFIRMED WITH ACTUAL ENGLISH FOOTAGE" to "OMG THESE NAME CHANGES ARE SO LOLSY" to "OMG THAT IS -NOT- HOW YOU PRONOUNCE <INSERT NAME HERE>" Jeez, people... Calm it down and at least try to be more positive and excitable? No need to be so nippy about the semantics of something that can be argued about endlessly anyway. So let's get back to "OMG IT'S COMING TO AMERCIA 'SOON'." On topic, I'm going to say I'm pretty excited to see how the dialogue ends up turning out. Seemed pretty solid from what little I've seen. I've yet to actually watch the whole video, but I've gathered a lot from the thread!
