  1. He looks way too skinny... =/ Ah well, I s'pose. It's not terrible, just wasn't what I expected at all. I saw All Stats +10 on the first page. Sounds delicious.
  2. Now that you mention it, he does resemble Kanji a little bit. Brady's confession picture just takes all for me as far as Gen 2 is concerned, though. His regular portrait doesn't do his looks any justice. :< That new artwork of Grego on the FE Background site is really nice as well. He's all gruff and happy-derp looking.
  3. *Founds the Brady fan club* Basilio and Greg for Gen 1 and definitely Brady(Chambray would have been tied if he didn't have long hair) for Gen 2.
  4. I love Flavia and Grego, as well as their artworks. I also noticed another hair option for Male MU that I absolutely love on the chapter 1 section. Short and spiky or buzzed. Hmm... I'll have to make up my mind eventually. Thanks for the link!
  5. I found this pretty funny, though I wasn't expecting that from Brady at all given his character description. o_o This'll probably be my main duo right here, I reckon. :3 Edit: RichtxHenry was also sad, but it really does put a perspective on the whole "bad guys aren't normal" thing a lot of games have going on.
  6. True enough. Guess it's just me being impatient and thinking wishfully since it's going to kill me to finally have the game, then have to wait some more for the DLC. Haha. Thanks!
  7. Does anyone happen to know how DLC distribution will work for the NA and EU versions? Will it all be translated and released at once since it'll technically be developed well before? Or will it follow the same trend as the Japanese game and release to us weekly/bi-weekly/monthly?
  8. I don't think using a few Nosferatu tomes over the entire course of your playthrough would be considered abuse. I say use 'em if you've got 'em. Not to mention it sounds like you have a powerful new weapon to use them with anyway!
  9. Always loved Tentacruel, but I kind of have a soft spot for water types along with my usual Rock/Ground/Steel love. Tentacruel was fun to train when I used it, and I kept it around for quite some time. Loved his Sp.Def, and(I don't know if this was available back in R/S/E), but Barrier made it an especially fun tank to use. 8.5+1/10 for a total of 9.5/10 for being such a badass.
  10. 5/10 if we're not talking about Politoed. 7/10 if Politoed. (Because it's adorable. Not really because of Drizzle, even though Drizzle is homgmazing.)
  11. Aggron is kinda' sorta' the bread and butter of my main team despite his glaring weaknesses. I love him, and he is most definitely my absolute favorite. That said: I was thinking almost the same thing as ^ this guy.
  12. I honestly thought this support was one of the better ones I've read. I really liked the progression of it, and I thought the S was deeper and a little more heartfelt than the others. He does look a lot like Ike as well, though he's a little strange-looking in his battle portrait. Kinda' the same way I feel with Brady, though. As for comments made about people falling in love after 3 supports... I think the intention of it is that the units fight together and increase their bonds with one another that way. I'm sure those are the kind of things that are left to the imagination instead of giving us supports for every interaction. Especially considering the supports are numerous and already at least a step up from the RD ones. Just my two cents on that.
  13. +1 bias for being a favorite. I think it's an interesting concept, and looks way more badass than Golbat. Though I like its sleeker designs as opposed to the weird wide/fat ones. Pretty much everything everyone else has said here. I have a soft spot for poison types, and Crobat's one of the few flying types I absolutely love. Kudos to making Zubat worthwhile. 7/10
  14. I found this support to have its own kind of charm. It wasn't as "bam" as a few other supports I've read, but it was... Cute, in a way?
  15. Come on, now. Is this really necessary? =/ First off, the bold pretty much contradicts the point of the whole Nono discussion/argument. She's in the game. Not much you can do about it. Some like it. Some don't. They might change her design for the NA release. They probably won't. Regardless, there won't be much point in arguing about it. It's been argued over too many times as it is. This is a Support Conversation thread. Let's try to be a little more friendly and on topic, yeah? On topic: I vote more Grego love! Oh, and Basilio or Flavia if there are any of either floating around! Edit: Actually just read BasilioxFlavia, and it was great. "I don't have enough time in my life to talk to you" had me rofl'ing.
  16. Erm... Not sure what to say on this one. I boxed Skitty as soon as I caught it, and I didn't even spend time looking. However: Skitty's freaking adorable. And gets sleep, I guess? So +1 there. 2/10
  17. This is the starter I picked for my first playthrough, and I can't remember ever needing to substitute another poke in due to stats, limited movepool, etc.. Ended up being female too. ^^ Movepool was solid, the shell attack was also a pretty neat addition. Seemed like she had pretty solid HP/defenses when I used her. Samurott's design was my favorite out of the three starters, even if it was a bit awkward. Solid pokemon overall. 7+.5/10 after figuring bias. 7.5/10
  18. Oh, no doubt about it. I've read a few of his synopses on chapters here and there(mostly to avoid any spoilers or major plot points if any), and I'd agree. I've visualized his choices, and quite enjoyed his descriptions of enemy/party layouts, skills, etc. Most definitely. It's like he said. It's interesting to note that the game pushes you to think outside the box a little bit(Nosfertanking excluded) to trumph a chapter. I guess I should have said in my original post that I meant 204 HIT makes me sad because I have to come to the realization and accept that dodging is more or less impossible(If not impossible, then definitely inconsistent) on Lunatic(+). Because I love dodging as much as I love taking a hit for "NO DAMAGE".
  19. See, I tend to be a lot more surprised than sad when an enemy with less than 20-30 HIT actually lands an attack, just like an enemy landing a 1-2% Crit. But that's normal. I think on FE7 the highest I've had for Avoid is 136? I haven't touched an FE title in quite some time, so don't quote me on that. That would make the aforementioned Swordmaster's hit rate ~70%+. In turn, this makes me sad because I'm more likely to get hit. And die. And that would make anyone sad. Or rage-y. Nobody wants that. Then again, given that this is Lunatic, and everything you've mentioned... That's probably normal. I suppose I can see where it'd be more interesting simply because it requires you to either: A) Forfeit all strategy and give in to Nosfertanking. B) Become the ultimate strategist and devise a strategy that requires meticulous careful execution. (Which would ultimately make one feel amazing if it's pull it off, I bet.) or C) Get extremely lucky. I'm sure there might be some that I've missed. That said, I'm sure I'll give the NA equivalent of Lunatic a shot regardless.
  20. This, but +1 for extreme bias. One of my favorite first-gens alongside Nidoking. 9.5/10
  21. Tyranitar(Sand Stream) -Stealth Rock? Aggron(Rock Head) -Head Smash? Sigilyph(Magic Guard) -@ Flame Orb w/ Psycho Shift? Cradily(Storm Drain) -Switch in to water + Giga Drain? Archeops(Defeatist. Derp.) -Flying Gem + Acrobatics Kabutops(Battle Armor or Weak Armor) -Waterfall/Night Slash/Stone Edge/Brick Break? It's been a few months since I've played my DS, so I don't quite recall what abilities/moves the ones that don't have any get. (I'm also at work, so sites like Serebii are blocked, even though this one isn't. Derp what.) I'll fix it up when I have a chance to figure out what I'm doing here. Came up with it on the fly. As a side note: I'm aware that this isn't optimum for type coverage. Rock/Ground/Steel/Psychic are my favorite types. I also like using themed teams. This list is an ideal for me based on using my favorites as well as them being somewhat viable from a competitive standpoint.
  22. Agree with everything mentioned in both of these. I personally can't stand Tepig's evolution designs, so that's where my -1 bias comes in. 7/10
