  1. Oh, I didn't have any question about going for those Nosdferatu tomes. And yeah, I'm pairing MU with Inverse on this playthrough as well. Another part of why I got her first.
  2. Marth is Anri's great-grandnephew and is referred to as his descendant.
  3. If it's being delayed for a full day like Elincia, it should be up in oh, six hours.
  4. No more than it was tradition to have Archanea and Valencia games on consoles.
  5. Those guys are scary. Use Elwind and the Falchion along with team support to make sure you double them in order to kill them as fast as they approach. If your MU isn't +Spd and well trained, it's going to be really difficult. Made it through S22 on my next attempt after figuring all that out. I forgot that recruiting Inverse doesn't just mean getting a powerful character: it also means getting quite a bit of gold, right when I was running out of good weapons and the gold to buy them. That and she has Dark Blessing. I haven't been allowing myself to buy Nosferatu tomes, but I now have two of them on hand - no harm in using them a bit, I think.
  6. It reached my state from some other state south of it, so an even better sign. Tackled the final. Turns out being able to let characters die doesn't make completing the chapter easy, not when you have to fight off an attack from all sides. Killing Gimle requires getting some room to work in the top part of the map, as well as killing all the enemies with Physic and any more that show up. This is not going to be easy. I decided to enlist the help of Gangrel and Inverse, since they have the easiest sidequests out of the secret characters, and probably the only ones I could handle at this point. Unfortunately, "easiest" is relative. I'm going for Inverse first, which means fighting the clone army. I didn't think much of it on NM and HM because I was able to create an extremely lopsided team with my postgame characters that could easily stomp the clones, the most powerful characters getting just enough bonuses to beat themselves and easily sweeping through the rest, but this time they have some annoying advantages. In addition to the obvious hacked weapons, they get stat bonuses. Big ones. I'm sure they had them on HM as well, but I didn't notice. So I have to fight off my own characters that are using weapons better than could possibly exist and with stats ~10 points higher than the originals fighting them - ~20 more HP. This, I think, is where I'm most glad that Dion has capped half his stats, since it means his clone can really only surpass him in defenses. I can break through that with Quick Slash, Magnificent Flame, and Falaflame, but if he stays alive, he gets healed by the mimics of characters I need in order to get around properly. And then the clones of the characters that can actually do anything are all about as strong in combat as regular Lunatic enemies. I think I've got a strategy that will work, but damn.
  7. Confessions are cutscenes. They could just add voice acting for that.
  8. It's worth noting that Magvel is now the only continent that has only been featured in one FE game. Hopefully this trend of revisiting continents to continue their stories instead of tossing out a bunch of new ones will continue.
  9. As a boss and as a playable character, he has Sword Slayer, Lance Slayer, Axe Slayer, Sol, and Luna. He cannot learn Aether.
  10. On the other hand, Marth can access all classes available to a male MU and learn their skills through those classes.
  11. You're ordering from play-asia, right? If you order them both together, it'll send the two at the same time. So if they don't have the 3DS available to ship immediately, they'll send the two together when they do. As far as I can tell, the system estimates are pessimistic. I got an email saying they were holding off because of a lack of system when the game first game out, then like a day later they said they had shipped it and it was at my house less than a week after the game's release. You won't be waiting long.
  12. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/afej/itsunomani/index.html They haven't updated the SpotPass page yet. This indicates them simply not getting around to fixing the site as opposed to not having anything planned.
  13. Indeed. Dammit, it's 3:30 already... where the hell is that LvD3 announcement? I'm not sure how much longer I can stzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
  14. Don't know his growths, but his reclass options are Mercenary, Fighter, and Myrmidon.
  15. Made it through Ch25. After working out the last few kinks, my 5-turn strategy worked perfectly. The Final awaits! This also means unlocking all those SpotPass sidequests to get a look at the Lunatic versions. S18, as usual, looks like a fun diversion easier than the other chapters around this point. S19 and S20, as usual, look like hell, probably more difficult than the Final. S19 looks particularly terrifying now: Valhart noticed that Gimle had capped every stat for his Lunatic appearance and decided to do the same in his final showdown. He also decided to pick up Luna in place of Early Initiative, giving him a third skill to abuse with his 50% Royal Weapon activation rate, next to the two Shield skills. At least it's not an 80% Divine Weapon activation rate like Gimle, eh? Yeah, I'm still not sure how I'm going to survive him. S21 actually has generic enemies capping stats other than HP, and often. Even a map as simple and boring as that one will likely be quite a challenge on this difficulty level. S22 is, of course, the Fountain of Truth. Not much to say about the enemies except I think Inverse is capping even more stats. Oh, and those same hacked weapons the enemies have all been using since Ch21 show up here in the hands of the clone enemies, so it's a mirror match where the enemies use weapons better than ones that can possibly exist. Joy. S23 is still the ultimate battle. The huge army of generic enemies all cap 4-6 stats and come close to the cap in anything else important, and Paris caps 7 stats, just missing out on Mag, which he has no use for. Here, having your characters capped seems to no longer be a cheap way out but instead a requirement to survive. Lunatic Paris is a prize that won't be won by feeble efforts. So we've got the final ultimate Dual Tag, the final ultimate SpotPass, and we should be less than an hour away from the announcement of the final ultimate DLC. Let's see if it lives up to the same insane standards! Hmm, TRS also did something like that.
  16. Apparently 25+ is considered "too old", but Serge doesn't look over 20. Hopefully this ends up as one of the things that gets mysteriously changed during localization due to a lack of proper context to have the intended impact on an American audience.
  17. Supports are more than those few lines.
  18. His chapter is harder than the final. As awesome as he is, he has no possibility of being useful ingame. Besides, you need to unlock the final to play any of those maps, and I'm still one chapter away. And I'm not worried about the final.
  19. We'll get the announcement tonight, but the release isn't until next week. Regardless, Ike appears in plenty of other DLC and should be available for comment.
  20. Any word on the other content of his supports? I want to hear those stories!
