I quite clearly don't give a damn what he thinks, and I think anything's worth discussing/up in the air regardless of whether or not he's here.
-
Bottom of low sounds too low. Low mid sounds too high as well.
-
Hymir is actually decent as a Hero. He did fine when I tried it starting from base level, but until his first level he did decent (can't judge after that, it's all about luck). Low tier or low mid sounds fine for him.
-
and Oscar's got better ways to use ranged stuff instead of Bows >_>
-
Which pretty much nullifies the point of defense and HP in Lorenz's case.
I was saying that as a Hero he wouldn't be too bad, though. He isn't doubling that often, though, but he's at least avoiding doubling from the majority of NM enemies.
-
Hey, Ike can double the shit out of you and kill you in like three rounds! Take that!Ah i seeAnyways how is Ike v. Bk disappointing?
How can you find that epic? Especially since the AI is a crapshoot and attacks you when you're on a +10 defense tile.
Wooden sword or not, it's still a sword.Yeah but IIRC Ike tells the BK that his Dad didn't use swords anymore. Besides in the first part Greil was using a wooden sword to train ike. What makes a big axe any different than a sword anyway?
-
no clue, his base stats are actually fine (aside from speed) if you give him the Hero class, but his Speed tends to grow anyway (as a Hero)... but his defense REALLY suffers (his entire defense growth as a General is because of his class; he has 0% base defense growth!)
so yeah, I should think before I post because I actually agree with bottom tier.

Prologue chapter, FE9.
I'm pretty sure that's a sword.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/anticlimaxAnti what?Ike vs BK in FE10. Most anticlimactic fight ever, especially since neither side is supposedly holding back.
-
An after-game FMV, probably. Battles like that in FE are anticlimactic unless we're talking Ike vs BK in FE9.
-
Ike would still receive a lot of training under Greil. I don't see Ike as quite as strong, but still strong.
-
the fact that Greil's resurrection didn't happen was among the things that slightly disappointed DMA. Because it would've been cool if Ashera could use her power of revival a lot more and take advantage of it.

Well then, I'm actually starting to agree that a mutual penalty is about right. What I am saying is that #2 is part of a character's usefulness, and is just one factor of an overall picture. It is also part of the gameplay, which is why I heavily disagree with ignoring it completely. This has absolutely nothing to do with bias (and I've stated repeatedly to penalize them both to prevent said bias). -
isn't the silver longbow like S rank anyway?

I'm aware that it's not changing much on the tier list, if at all. Yet you are still should be unable to assume things and get away with it. That's precisely what I'm trying to say. The entire idea behind everything I'm arguing is on the principle behind judging tiers.
The choice between two characters is/should be irrelevant, though. You keep crying double standard, but even when you apply fair judgement, the better units are still going to be higher on the tier list, and even with applying fair judgement, the choice between two characters that have a large gap in quality is going to cause a bigger tier list gap than two characters that don't. That's just how it is.Better units higher on a tier list is precisely the point. I actually don't see what point you're trying to make here; it seems to be
- Better characters will always be higher on a tier list
- Choice between two characters will make someone else lower and someone else higher
in which case, #1 is a given and #2 I disagree with. Not fully, since there is always bias and subjectivity.
And really? To make tiers less complicated, there's always getting rid of the ordering within tiers. It'll cause less debate and allow us to be in a more full accordance with what the general tiers should be like.

Surely the few black people that you know are the counter examples to black people being rude and obnoxious, no?
Every race has its fair share of rude, obnoxious people. Not like it's the fact that they're black or white or yellow that's relevant - it's the personality that matters in the end.
-
I'm not saying you're slow for not figuring it out earlier (for the second spoiler), though. I forgot how I figured it, but it just had to be right. A gut feeling, you know?
The first one is understandable.

2-3 was also damned fun. Geoffrey, Makalov, and Kieran raped it for me in my current NM file.
I played 1-E recently without the BK. I tend to avoid using Nailah and the Black Knight just to give EXP to the others, so it was obviously that I'd hate it.
-
I'm a paki and I'm madly in love with a korean chick. I don't think race is a factor for me. XD I still make fun of people for race, but only if I know the person very well - otherwise, I tend to avoid joking about it so as people don't take me seriously.
-
I'll be honest, someone's a bit slow on the uptaking. If you looked at his in-game data (on the site as well), you'd pretty much see the proof.
Zelgius is the Black Knight
I forget how, but I figured it out without reading any dialogue that was even relevant.Micaiah is the apostle

I loved 2-E, actually. I was just playing it and had to restart a couple times (due to experiments on top of anything, battle saves are a boon) - Haar with Hand Axe, Short Axe, a bunch of BEXP, a Hammer, and a speedwing RAPES the chapter. With support from a physic stuff. On normal mode.
1-E was a burnout to me.
-
Well, it was somewhat obvious during Part III/IV that he was involved with A LOT of things that went on in the games, but it still surprised me.
-
wrath and resolve is pretty rape though, considering resolve actually boosts your already high speed a considerable amount
