  1. What I'm excited for: Building My Castle and look around other people's Castles. Chillin' in My Castle in general. And, in My Castle, I especially am excited for the accessory shop! It looks fun. I wonder how good Belka would look like with an eyepatch... and other fun stuff. The characters I like! Like Shigure, Azama, Elise, etcetc. Shipping Arthur and Effie together. Yes, more than any other couple. I wanna marry Azama. The bad english dub! <- opinion What I almost can't wait for: Playing Conquest and mastering the hardest difficulties! Playing the other two routes! (but it's less exciting than Conquest) Try out the new classes and reclass myself to be an OP Basara! Have my ass kicked by Conquest's difficulty! Use characters I like that are also bad units for maximum babying and favoritism! Having a team full of Generics! Capturing all the bosses! Listen to the soundtrack more than I do now! And probably more.
  2. Don't worry... she just saw someone who doesn't believe in love... Tell me, you do believe in love, do you? Because if you don't... well.. U ok...? Man! I'd love to see some of the girls in a tux! Like Orochi! *_* It would be very interesting to see, but I don't think we'll get another route out of the DLC... Maybe a map pack dedicated to Kamui's evil ascension! But will the fans be able to handle it? I personally would like some edginess in this game, so I wouldn't mind it.
  3. But even without saying "I did it too", Radiant Dawn had tons on characters, and many cavaliers and paladins, yet their designs are all unique and have different details. Kieran has a different armor from Oscar or Geoffrey, for example. HECK, Radiant Dawn had different outfits for all the different promotions, at least for the Sages. There is an in-series example, so to say. I too have problems with this game's character and class designs, but I don't want to say they are little irks such as the weapon icons (although I did say it's where they truly fucked up, and I still think that: it's an overlook that screws up gameplay a bit). I'd say that, for me, they are actual problems that remove part of my enjoyement in the art direction. And before someone says it, it's not the fanservice.
  4. That actually hypes me quite a lot. I can't wait for this game! And is that a female axe user on foot?! I also really hope it gets translated asap!
  5. I would be much more than fine with that (especially with Ike and Shinonome) but I was trying to see it in a possible and realistic approach XD
  6. Sorry Technickal, but I think it's alright to be skeptical after some of the hoaxes that have been made with these news. At this point some of us just want to wait and see.
  7. Why doesn't Delmud inherit pursuit?O_o Seems like I have to reshuffle my choices a bit. If you guys have any good pairs for Lachesis outside of the usual ones, I am willing to try them... although I might go with Beowulf again since he gives her small stat boosts. Anyway thanks for the info. Is making Leaf inherit the Brave Sword a good idea, or is it better on other characters?
  8. Maybe I do have eyepatch moe...

  9. Masamune lost an eye due to skinship?! So skinship gives deadly infections?!

    1. Ebony

      Ebony

No. But someone had the bright idea to bring weapons to skinship and thats how it went down. :c

  10. This makes me think--- what if Bride got back, and this time we got the male counterpart Groom to go with it?
  11. Hi people, I decided to start a new playthrough of FE4 and this time around I want to get more characters in both generations to level 20. What are the best ways to do so? This is taking in consideration the fact that the Paragon ring is very pricy in the Pawn Shop. FYI I want to get characters like Ethlyn, Dew and Lachesis up to level 20, especially Lachesis; this I couldn't do in my first PT and I did suffer for it (Leif starting out very weak, for example... I'm not sure how better he's gonna be with a promoted mom, but yeah). Also, I want to try out interesting and unusual pairs this time around. I already set in stone Lex/Tiltyu, Levin/Sylvia (I've already done this, but it was really hilarious so I can't bring myself to not have Holsety Corpul), Jamka/Lachesis and Holyn/Briggid, so if you got any suggestions, I really want to hear them out.
  12. E-eep! So cute!! I want to draw him with those clothes now! ahfhsafheih!!1i3hrfihseif!! If Yukimura was in the game I'd be rightfully pissed at the removal of skinship!(jk) Uh... anyway... This time around I'm not very tempted to play as the male avatar due to the fact that I only get one child unless I marry Azura. I had sort of a similar problem in Awakening, but hm. Plus there is the problem that you don't get two children with the male avatar, which is alright in Nohr, but in IK and Hoshido, it's a bit of a bummer. Oh, I forgot... I want to marry Ryoma with a blue haired female avatar to get Ike, lol.
  13. Sorry to be that guy but we have had FE games before where less important characters had their own unique class or were OOAK in their generation/game. Examples: Xane in the Marth games. Lachesis and Leif in FE4 (they are the only ones in their generations to be able to promote to Master Knight). All Manaketes in the GBA games. Elincia in Radiant Dawn. Pelleas in Radiant Dawn. There is probably more. Not all of these are as important as the male royals in the plot of their games, therefore I don't think it's weird or farfetched to give them cool unique classes Anyway! I like the point you make Espinosa. It would have been interesting to give Royals more uniqueness, but wouldn't that still make them much better than similar options?
  14. I'm gonna marry Mitsunari Ishida (from Basara) to Azura, because why not. Maybe it could help his Hideyoshi shaped hole in his Hideyoshi shaped heart. Maybe. Maybe not. And then Tsuruhime (also from Basara) to Azama so she'll teach him a lesson and get War Priestess. But something tells me she'd rather get the Saizo or Kaze. I want to mess around the Kamui customizer more to see if I can recreate more characters from other franchises. The most fun part is choosing their spouse lol. What else... I dunno, I want to create a sexy dominatrix for Niles. It's sad I can't recreate Bayonetta. I really like Ashura, but I dunno if I want to marry him. On one playthrough I'll make a green haired female Avatar to marry Takumi and get a green haired Kisaragi to ROLFINATE. Then I also wanted to recreate Lachesis/Raquesis and marry her off to Xander. Also my totally awesome donut steel OC Foxxy Ladie will go with Xander and Ryoma in their respective routes, because she always aims for the top, but I dunno who she could go with in Revelations.
  15. I could be wrong, but I think Silas is the one voiced by Lowenthal. Not saying Hayato couldn't be voiced by Lowenthal too. --- I personally don't have problems with Azama/Kagerou' support (except the fact that it's a shitty support), but, hmm, I'm pretty darn sure it's gonna get changed in the West. Azama in general will probably be changed a bit. I think he can say very interesting things so at every bad support I feel like it's a wasted opportunity.
  16. You can't possibly be so english-centric. English might be an easy language but it's not the only language in the world. I personally am not a fan of most USA English dubs or USA English voice actors (mostly due to it being so cheesy in anime/manga/japanese videogames), therefore if I have the option to use a different language dub I always go for that, THEREFORE I am grateful if developers give me dual audio as an option. There are times where I don't choose the Japanese dub, and that's when I find it bad or when I think they did a better job with the English one (like the first Xenoblade). Why would you disagree with dual audio? It's optional, if you dislike not-English dubs then don't choose them. And no, it's not always better... like for example effin' Fire Emblem: Fates. Felicia is so bad, it's early PSOne dub tier. It's almost as if you disagree with dual audio only to defend your favorite games. Nobody in their right mind would disagree with dual audio because it doesn't hurt the game at all, it only gives you more options. . Also that dude had nothing against english dubs so stop acting as if he did. He only said that, for some weird reasons, Dual Audio is removed from games after they become popular. He never ever ever said Xenoblade or Awakening had shitty english dubs. So, did you even read what he wrote? One last thing: Elma sounds like a robot. So much for godly voiceacting.
  17. These opinions will change when I get the game, but... Azura/Aqua. At first I thought she'd be another Lucina, but she ended up being this graceful and thoughtful person in her supports. Felicia. I really couldn't stand her at first, but some of her supports really made me chuckle, so in the end, I think she is alright. ELISE. I initally really disliked her for being this obvious ass imouto fanservice (she is), but some of the things she says are very touching and smart. Plus she is probably one of the few characters whose love for Kamui I can deal with. It's common to idolize your older brother/sister. Zero/Niles. Well, I never thought I'd like him after I heard he was a sadist, but his funny moments really get me; plus, like many Nohrians, he has that tiny hint of backstory that makes him more interesting. I only wish he did not mix his sexual perversions with his extremely sadistic ones. Eponine. I'm not ever sure how she grew on me, because when I read her supports I thought they were stupid. But... look, I have never, ever been a fujoshi like Nina, but I am a fujoshi, and the flak she gets from others I understand, the flak she gets from the game I understand. Plus there is the fact that she is a female characters who does talk about her sexuality and what arouses her (very rare in Japanese media), and those are welcome for me, always, because girls are not perfect, pure flowers. Pieri/Peri. I did not think good things about her until lolol backstory lolol. Plus it is sad how, even if she says she is happy and that it brings her joy, when she kills people she cries, it's almost evident she is lying to herself, or how It's like she is stuck in costant torment, it's depressing and I can't help but feel bad for her whole life. She is an eerie character. ALTHOUGH THEY COULD HAVE AVOIDED THAT DUMB HAIR COLOR. Asama. Cute asshole.
  18. Honestly though, there is something that bothers me a bit. Jakob is liked, Azama gets flak. I understand Azama has the trait that he finds screwing with people amusing, but Jakob still is an asshole/borderline asshole to anyone who isn't Kamui. There might be a crucial key difference here (although I'm not sure how many notice it), but the result is still the same: other characters get upset. From what I read, people dislike Azama mostly for being a blunt asshole, which is not that far from what Jakob does. I get it-- Azama has been sexist in one support, and mean to an imouto in another. I guess that's what actually grinds most of the gears here. I'm not telling you to like him, but I just want to understand why people are okay with Jakob, but not with Asama.
  19. I want more throwback maps, and more DLC classes, although the classes are very unlikely.
  20. I went with FE4 because... fuck the Pawn Shop. It's so dumb. Seriously, if they made the Pawn Shop because they thought that then your characters would get too OP too fast, then they had to think their priorities straight. It doesn't make it harder, just more tedious and dumb. IMO, FE4 is still the best FE if you want to just chill with OP units, even better than Awakening because there's epic-sounding things like HOLY BLOOD and HOLY WEAPONS thrown into the inheritance mix, plus you are forced to use the results of your match making and it's awesome (whereas in Awakening it's just a bonus). I'm sure it would still sell nowdays, especially with its darker story. The sad thing is that they'd have to throw an avatar into the mix...
  21. There still was a minority in Japan who thought Fates and especially skinship was the grave of Fire Emblem. On 2chan, there was a thread made for angry fans grieving how the series turned out with Fates... I think it was called something among the lines of "Fire Emblem's Funeral".
  22. It's probably because it was Nowi of all people who talked about it.
  23. Some are really bad, but at least it's very fun to listen to them. I love bad dubs. FYI I'm referring to Felicia for the most part, lol. WEE GOT TRUH-BLL!
