  1. Dayan isn't that bad, he not great either, but he's useable. 14 strenght is meh, but he's lucky that there are a lot of wyverns he can hit for extra damage, 20 speed is good enough and he's suprisingly durable. 4.5/10
  2. Yeah, yeah you can fly. Unfortunately for you the other flyers can at least do something else then ferrying people around. Flying doesn't save bad bases, and meh growths in my opinion. I guess she can be of some use in chapter 21 since it has many deployment slots. 2.5/10 1 point for existing 1 point for flying 0.5 points for being one of the two best looking characters in the game.
  3. Its my favorite senior citizen. Outside of her great personality she has a few other things going for her as well. I fanboyed over douglas attack in the previous topic, but Nimme is no slouch either. 21 base magic and targets resistence as well. 16 speed is decent enough to be good and her resistence stat helps against those extremely annoying status staves. But Nimme's first role isn't as a combat unit. A rank staves + sexy base magic gives her the biggest range with staves like psychic, berserk and warp. She does have one massive flaw though. 5 defence is crap and 25 hp is even worse. Yeah, yeah I know mages should't be attacked, but still if a wyvern lord catcher her she's probably one rounded. A robe helps, but still. 8+1 bias point= 9/10
  4. Well fire emblem 4 has huge maps which make's foot unit gets too far behind too quickly. Once again I do consider having a mount a plus for the character in question, but I don't believe that not having a mount is a negative. Its great if a characters has a (flying)pony, but I won't drop any points if a character doesn't have one. It might be because I usually take a more slow and steady aprouch. I don't turtle or anything, but I have no trouble to slow down and making my foor units catch up. I hope that explained it a little better. As for mia, i'm not really all that fond of her, but thats just my opinion.
  5. Perhaps my rating will be a bit lower since my opinion of flying (and mounted units) is a little different from most people on here. Sure I like my characters to have a (flying) mount and she does get a point for it, but unless its fe4 I don't value it that much. Still Jill is a great unit. Good growths in most area's, flying utility and I like her personality. I don't like her bases however. 9 speed is pretty meh at this point. Luckily her laguz guard makes sure she doesn't suffer too badly from the crows. 8/10
  6. Tormod would be the best mage in the game if it weren't for his lazy ass. Come on there's a war between the beorc and the laguz, and you, your daddy and crow lady are just gonna sit in the desert? Good in the dawn brigade chapters, doesn't exitst in part 3 and crap in part 4 3/10
  7. Wow did't expect so many fe4 characters. My favorite fe4 characters did't make it yet, but these characters are awesome as well Ecept maybe Lachesis, but thats just my opinion.
  8. Its time for the only "good" general to take the field. He has that extremely manly 46 hp, 19 strenght and 20 DEFENSE! The rest of his stats aren't that great though. He's a great unit in Sacea and a bit of a filler unit outside that. 5 move hurts and his speed is crap which makes his durability less then it should be. Still has A weapon ranks all around and he can hurt something pretty well. He gets a 5.5 from me. 5 points as a unit and 0.5 points for the beard.
  9. What where they thinking when making Sothe? His growths are great and all even without blossom, but he's knife locked and can't even promote. He still has his uses for being a thief. 2 + 1 bias point since at least he has an actual personality here unlike his older self. In radiant dawn he's just an Ike fanboy and Micky's pet. 3/10
  10. Being in the dawn brigade is the best thing that could happen to Zeehork. Sure he won't be as high leveled as Mia, but his team needs him a lot more. Once again he has great offense, but he is far less durable then his fe9 self since enemies are actually able to hit in this game. An earth support works wonders for Zeehar-ack, but it takes a while before those get going. His durability might not be the best, but the dawn brigade isn't exactly an durable brigade so it matters less. Zihark gets a 9 from me. He makes life in the dawn brigade a lot easier and he's worth using troughout the entire game.
  11. Zihark has good offensive stats and adept to make him awesome. Sadly he isn't very durable. He can dodge pretty well and his earth support helps, but it isn't exactly reliable. 7 for being a solid unit.
  12. I like Hugh. He's one of the few non shota/loli/old man mages. I won't hold the fact that he charges money against him since I don't penalise people for their recruitment. Anyway Hugh is neither a good unit, nor a bad unit. His bases are average and so are most of his growths. He would love an early promtotion and 17 mag and 13 speed isn't all that bad. A lot of mages would kill for that 12 defense too. He gets a 5 from me +1 bias point, but perhaps i'm being too soft on him. 6/10
  13. 1.Tales of symphonia 2.Super smash bros: Melee 3.Paper mario and the thousand year door 4.Wind waker 5.Fire emblem: Path of radiance
  14. 1. Super mario all stars+ mario world (5 great games in one and the first video game I played.) 2. Final fantasy 3/6 (Played this one on the gba later since Square hated Europe at the time) 3. donkey kong country 2 (Second game I played and it was a great one as well. 4. Secret of evermore (first rpg I played. I can still remember anything from the game) 5. Chrono trigger. (Played it years later for the same reason as final fantasy. Its a fantastic game. I do think its a bit overrated though)
  15. Listen girl if you want to be in my team then you should't join midgame with a 30 uses weapon and that move could have been better too. At least Myrh joined late and had 50 uses. 2.5/10 for not being able to do much thanks to her weapon and movement.
  16. I did't like Mehphenee at first. Her bases looked kind of bad and an E rank in lance's did't do her much favours with me. I was pleasantly suprised when I actually tried her. She's not Ashera in human form like most people on gamefaqs think, but after an arm scroll she's a capable unit. Good spead and the vantage/wrath combo are her biggest assets. I give Nephenee a 6.5 and a bias point because I like her personality. 7.5/10
  17. Tauroneo is my favorite general in the entire series so +1 bias point for him. He only has 2 chapters in part 1, but he rapes those chapters. He barely takes any damages and he one rounds everything. In part 3 he isn't as good as he was, but he's still not bad and he comes for free. His movement matters a lot less since his chapters in part 3 are defend chapters. He's not invincible anymore, but he is more durable then most units in the dawn brigade. Part 4 isn't as kind to him. the maps are bigger and his stats are now worse then some alternatives. Still he won't drag your team down much since there are a lot of deployment slots in the hawk army (Uh I think it has) 6 + 1 bias point= 7
  18. Oops sorry. Hahah I skipped right to the list,
  19. This looks like a good list, but I have one question. Why is Durant so high? it has great speed, defense and attack, but it is only available in the victory road. Is such a short time enough to put it in the top of the C tier? Its moveset looks kind of meh as well.
  20. I like Ilyana, but unfortunately she's just crappy in this game. She has her uses in the dawn brigade chapters as a worse Micky, but when she joins the greil mercenaries she's your worst unit available untill Lyre joins. Not only is Soren higher leveled and statisticly better, but Ilyana gets doubled and one rounded by pretty much everyone in part 3 Another problem is that her caps just suck and thunder magic is the worst magic available.
  21. Everything about her has already been said. Crappy bases, late join time and even when she's trained she's still outclassed by everything that moves. 1/10 because I usually don't go any lower then that.
  22. Her stats aren't the best, but she won't really drag you down. She's still a healer on a pony who can do some chip damage. She's also the best looking unit. 6/10 + 1 booby point brings her to a 7/10 in my book
  23. Unfortunately for Johan I like the human crab better then him. Still Johan is probably the better unit of the two because he has a horse. IS thought that if they gave Johalva better bases that it would balance out, unfortunately FE4 is the one game that doesn't work that way. I would gladly take a horse over 2 hp, 1 str, 4 speed and 2 defense. Like his brother Johan is a bit mediocre, but he can help with his brave axe and he's better then his bro with it. 5/10 -1 bias because I like crabman better, so his score will be a 4/10
  24. 8.5/10 A godsend in part one, good in part 3, meh in part 4 and terrible in endgame. He gets a -1 bias point from me because I don't like his personality in this game and the belly shirt isn't helping his case either.
  25. 6.5/10 Ray is the most durable druid in the game.....not a big acomplishment since Sofiya is fail and Niime is a bit on the frail side. Offensively he's not that good thanks to the fact that he get weighed down by a lot of tomes and his speed is only decent. Still his magic is high and dark tomes are powerfull, so he can deal some heavy damage. Nosferatou tanking is good, but not always that reliable. All in all he's the second best choice for a druid. Niime has that amazing staff rank and dont have to be trained, but there are far worse options then using Ray. Edit: forgot to mention I gave him one bias point since he was speed blessed in my previous playtrough.
