  1. You might want to go a little light on those wireless items until you know you really need them. Celica's Gales are effectively 10-use due to striking twice, and your money will vanish in an instant if you start buying more. As for high-mt stuff like the Gae Bolg, those are best for OHKOing counter goons and overpowering PavGis.
  2. If you're going to marry Nowi, you'll want an asset that raises Spd, because Nowi's Spd is very bad. Fortunately, +Mag does this. Your end mods will be 1/1/-1/-2/1/3/2 + -3/4/-1/2/0/-1/2 + 1/1/1/1/1/1/1 = -1/6/-1/1/2/3/5. A shame about the Skl, but it'll be fine as a Sage or Dark Flier. If you're going for maximum Galeforce/Luna combos, you'll need to put Luna on Severa, which means Stahl. Fortunately she still gets Vantage and now has some nice Str mods, but you lose that Spd... If you don't want to do that, I'd put Stahl with Panne to avoid class redundancy and make Yarne more useful (without Galeforce he'll be supporting, so the better Str mods are good).
  3. Don't forget Throne boosts. Your Rallies are assuming that you have every Rally, but you don't. Let me recheck your stats. I'm assuming you're going +Spd/-Str. Atk is 44(Sorc base) +4(mods) +10(LB) +10(Rallies) +9(Pairup) +9(Forged Celica's) +2(WRB) +2 (Tonic) = 90. Skl is 38(Sorc Base) +6(Mods) +10(LB) +10(Rallies) +7(Pairup) +2(Tonic) = 73. Spd is 40(Sorc base) +9(Mods) +10(LB) +10(Rallies) +3(Pairup) +2(Tonic) = 75. Lck is 45(Base) +3(Mods) +10(LB) +6(Rallies) +3(Pairup) +2(Tonic) = 69. Def is 41(Base) -4(Mods) +10(LB) +6(Rallies) +3(Pairup) +2(Tonic) = 58. Res is 44(Base) -1(Mods) +10(LB) +6(Rallies) +7(Pairup) +2(Tonic) = 68. So you can ORKO everything on the map... But it looks like you'll do a lot of EP fighting. Even with all that, can you take that pack of Sages on wave 4? They have, if I remember right, 70 atk, and Luna+/Hawkeye+ combos. Not counting the one with Forseti, there are four of them, so 8 guaranteed EP attacks. You can kill on on player phase, so six attacks. Those attacks will be doing 70-34=36 damage each. You will be 3HKOed without Aegis/Miracle/DG procs. Forseti guy has 81 atk, 81-34 = 47 damage. With an HP tonic, that's not enough to put you below 36HP, but it will still hurt. Are you prepared to survive 7 attacks in an environment where you will be 3HKOed?
  4. Sage vs Sorc is simple: Sages have clothes and Sorcs don't, so use Sages. The fact that Sages happen to be statistically better is just icing on the cake.
  5. That's funny, I'm pretty sure I've seen people who want the best children get Gen3 Morgan before.
  6. Vantage trashes those wind mages, they're very fragile. All three of them start in opposite corners of the map as well, so it's not too hard to pick them off one by one. If it's a little much to handle 50 enemies at once, try flying to the ledge up on the top of the map, only five flyers can reach you there and you can siege effectively up there. You also might want to consider training multiple characters at once there, the divided nature of the armies makes it pretty easy to split them up between multiple trainees. As for your other options, I don't recommend any of the 1/2 maps because you have allies who waste a ton of time/exp, I don't recommend SB3 because the doors make it very annoying to just sit there and spam start (it is a very safe map if you have Renewal though), I don't recommend RaR3 because it has a Counter goon, a Lethality goon, tons of Breakers, and LB3 is flat-out easier with no exp loss, and CoY3 has only 20 enemies. ...Thinking aloud here, but Summer Scramble might be good. I think the enemies there are fairly weak and there aren't too many of them, but more than CoY3. And if this isn't Lunatic, you can always fall back on Spotpass Teams for exp and Renown.
  7. You're doing Lunatic+, right? Start by walking Chrom out to Kellam, recruiting him, pairing up with him, and then having Kellam run them back out of enemy range. Pair up and have your team get ready to rush the LHS. Everyone can help here, Cht.2 is over and it's no longer critical to give your Avatar everything. Rush them on turn 2 (or bait someone on turn 1 EP if it's safe), kill everyone with player phase offense, and get ready to tank the dudes from the RHS. Your two options are to hole up in the corridor and do your best to facetank unequipped with Avatar and Frederick, or to open the door and kill the Knight (it won't aggro the others on the top) and get more room for a tighter choke. Once you're done, aggro the top side and kite them as long as you need to; the level is a giant circle and they have no units with more than 5 mov.
  8. LB3 is faster than CoY3 because there are 50 enemies instead of 20 enemies, the boss moves, and there's a gate for you to hang out on. With Paragon on Hard, you get a minimum of 50 x 8 x 2 = 800 exp, enough to go through a class with only two clears. Now, my preferred method of grinding to caps when I don't care about class hopping for tons of skills is to find a staff-using class, go to CoY3 (or any other map where the boss doesn't move), killing everything except the boss, and then breaking dozens of Rescue Staves for exp. Much safer than trying to solo underleveled, money issues are solved by Golden Gaffe, and builds staff rank, which is hard to cap otherwise.
  9. You see, there's this really nifty base class skill called Vantage... Even though there's a Bow Knight with another one right in the next chapter (which is before you get Lucina), there's a decent chance of a Merchant giving you at least one, and by that point you have at least enough Renown to pick up the SS from clearing normal chapters alone... But I get your point, early Second Seals are very rare and using them shouldn't be taken lightly. You can at least get Olivia to Lv.30 once without using one...
  10. Feed everything to Avatar up until then and then solo it with Avatar x Frederick while everyone else escapes to the left and kills the ~2 guys that come after them. Once the bottom is clear, heal up. Don't be afraid to use Virion's Elixir. If you're on Casual, you might want to suicide Sully and Stahl to draw fire away from Avatar on turn 1.
  11. At Cht.21, the enemies can start coming with three random class skills. Make note of that. I currently have a Lunatic file that's on cht.23 (only done the first four Paralogues, Cynthia's, Inigo's, Morgan's and Tiki's) and a Normal file that's on cht.5 (haven't done P1 yet). Are there any particular holes around there I should focus on filling?

  14. That kamikouryaku website is Japanese, and I can read enough of it to tell which stats are which. Unfortunately I can't just lump all the similar enemies together because their stats (at least on NM, it doesn't seem to happen on LM) have ~1 point variations. They might be random, I don't know. I'll just order the enemies the way the cursor moves when you hover over the boss and press L.   17. Something like that. They're close enough that the Lucinas are essentially the same and you should be more focused on the differences in their siblings. On the one hand, Chrom gives Inigo everything he could hope for: he gets an extra great support class for Apo (Sniper, he already has Berserker and Assassin), a Luna/Galeforce/Aggressor combo, 100% AT without DLC, and RK alongside a huge mound of procs (Lethality, Astra, Sol, Luna, Aegis, Despoil, AT). On the other hand is Cynthia, who now has Aether to complement her natural Luna and was pretty good in the first place, but has very few possible fathers.

  20. I have all the DLC because I want it. Simple. In regards to the mute Einherjar, that's not entirely true, if you switch the voices to Japanese all the females except Tiki get one of Avatar-F's voices. You might want to reconsider Harvest Scramble because the boss holds a Master Seal- I'd rather it be a Second Seal, but it's still a reliable source of early promotions. I don't know if you're the kind of player who cares about the music (I am), but CoY2 and RaR2 have epic map themes and Roster Rescue/Death's Embrace have epic fight themes. Granted, you can just listen to them online, but it's worth noting.

Reinforcements, even ambushes, are fine with me (of course, I don't mind resetting) with two exceptions: Lunatic+ (where you can't scout for Counter in advance and must leave all your units unequipped when they show up, this is worse before you get lots of bows) and FP1, where goons with Mire will pop up and OHKO the children before you can do anything.
  23. I personally haven't played AW. I like FE13 because Sticker Star was rubbish (I'm a big Paper Mario fan) and Awakening had everything that SS was bad for lacking. The biggest cliches ever in any SRPG involve a giant empire attacking a small nation and that small nation fighting back as the crux of the plot, and in case you didn't notice, FE7 was the only FE in which that's completely absent. Somehow, I don't buy that you paired up some units and just let them sit there while all of Lunatic+ laid down and begged for its life.
  24. Yes, and your Emmeryn's "9" is the product of Avatar's 4 (Mag asset), the second gen bonus of 1, and Emmeryn's 4. If you had gone +Mag, Aversa!Morgan would have +8 Mag, one less than Emmeryn!Morgan.
  25. I cleared wave 1 (Normal) with just Chrom. I doubt I'll go further. LB, RK, Luna, Aether/Aegis, and Aggressor is the best he can do, and it's not very impressive without a pairup.
