By changing what you are looking for, different units become "Best". If the thing you value most is the size of the prf sword they wield, then the best unit is the one with the biggest prf sword (and units without a prf sword are auto-fail). A lord could be the "best" in someone's mind because he/she has the best hair, which is all that really matters to my hypothetical person. Which is why an agreed upon set of values is required before there is an objective "best" making all other answers wrong. Using goals like efficiency and valuing how a unit contributes to efficiency (in comparison to other units in its game) Sigurd likely then becomes the objective best. For example, someone here doesn't seem to value things like healing or things like OHKOing the toughest enemies in the toughest part of a game, and as such has somehow come to the conclusion that Micaiah is the worst lord. Whatever he values more than those two things, it allows him to make Micaiah seem like the worst out of all the lords. When things that contribute to efficiency are valued more, Micaiah is clearly not the worst Lord. Without creating a set of criteria, there is no objective best, and thus other choices cannot be auto-wrong. And no, I'm not basing that statement off of grinding(I don't grind in FE2. I generally just play easy mode and only do side battles so as to recruit extra characters/get items). And no, she really doesn't do all to well late in the game due to her poor str and semi bad HP(which is important for magic users).
