Is it just my or is this thread disturbingly lacking in PC-games samples? Not that I can play anyone not spending time with them. They are way to troublesome. There is always something that doesn't work.

They were all I had in my pre-teens though. Still, you might have missed a few things.

Man, that game had everything. Tons of levels, fun gameplay, multiplayer with lots of modes. In retro-respect this makes me wonder why it took so long to have co-op in Mario and other games.

I would describe the gameplay is pretty much a mix of Sonic and Mega Man btw. It's on the easier side though I never used Jazz's speed to it's full extend and made sure to collect eveything. I heard the original game was pretty hard but I didn't get to play that one.

Man, I miss Jazz... :(:

And as for the actual levels, my recollection is that they tended to have a pattern where, for whatever reason, the second of the three worlds in each "set" (only the third world would have a boss) would usually be tougher than the third. The first was the easiest, of course.

Hmm...difficulty of the first Jazz Jackrabbit? It's really not that hard. With the possible exception of the final boss, who I remember being kinda tough, the other bosses all have "safe spots" you can stand in to avoid their attacks, but easily exit from for a short time to get some damage in when you need to.

I've never played a full F-Zero game, but I did play about 2 minutes of a demo of the SNES one on Smash Brawl and loved its version of Mute City.

The original F-Zero soundtrack is a 16bit treasure trove, yeah.
