o lawdy, I don't watch a hell of a lot of movies by the way, so most will probably be mainstream trash or something.

And I'm a History major, so I get amused at boring things, so 9/10 my list most likely will reflect that.

1.) Labyrinth

2.) Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

3.) Rocky Horror Picture Show

4.) The Little Mermaid (dead serious, nostalgia/10)

5.) The Sound of Music

6.) The Princess Bride

7.) Monte Python Life of Brian*

8.) The King's Speech

9.) The Wizard of Oz**

10.) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

* I still have to watch the other two sometime, I know, shoot me, I haven't watched Holy Grail yet

** Filler, because I realized I don't have 10 movies that are my favourite. sad.gif

I don't have a top ten list, here are a few favorites:

-Ikiru, Sanjuro and Yojimbo by Akira Kurosawa

-Hara Kiri by Masaki Kobayashi

-Usual Suspects

-Historias Extraordinarias (NOT the Edgar Allen Poe short stories movie)

-Bad Boy Bubby

-Moneyball

-Fight Club

-Princess Mononoke

-Memories of Murder

(turns out it's more than 10!)

If I had to pick an absolute favorite, I'm split between Hara Kiri and Historias Extraordinarias.

Mother

Bob Roberts

Amélie

Donnie Darko

Dr. Strangelove

Unfortunately, there are a number of films that I'd really like to see that I haven't seen yet, like Still Walking, Poetry, Citizen Kane, and Lawrence of Arabia.
