I'm really not fussed about things like that... besides transparent or not, it looks the same on the skin I use (which is all that matters, as far as I am concerned). Why does it bother you, anyway? Other than that, I've probably been on nearly every day since my joining. :) The big blob of white clashes so much with the light blue on Blue Skies. Probably blue skies, my favourite (ever since one of the updates when the green changed, sf skin makes my eyes bleed). But you can check in the bottom left corner. Well, blue started as the default until the new green one was created. I guess the green one is the default now.
