Dat Rules

- Ratings are assumed to be on Hard 2 Mode.

- Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted. If somebody else said what you want to already, quote them explicitly.

+/- ≤1 point extra regarding personality/appearance is encouraged, but no more. If you exercise your bias privileges, please do so explicitly. Also, if your vote is already a 10/10 or greater than 9 and you give a full point of bias, The score may not exceed 10!

- Numerical votes out of 10, or something proportional to it. Make it easy to calculate for my sake.

- Each ranking phase ends from 2100 to 2200 EST. 13th May start the topic again but i am not sure. Do the math if you are in another timezone!

- I will insist you do not use the "Not X" reason on any character, where X is another unit. If you do, your vote will be thrown out.

- "Recruits X" or "takes you to X chapter" arguments are explicitly banned. C'mon, people, this shouldn't need to be a rule. That's not gameplay performance.

- Assume that the character in question is being recruited.

- Similar to the "Recruits X" rule, do not use "He Comes with a Free Ridersbane" as an argument.

- I withhold the privilege to tell you your rating is bogus and demand you revise it if it breaks any of the above. I will not throw out votes anonymously, you will be informed and given a chance to revise.

Rickard and Julian have similar Strength/Speed growths, but Julian trumps Rickard in bases, availability, and durability. Rickard can kinda hold his own, but will need a Robe at the very least, or he's gonna die in a hurry. The only reason why he's not a flat 1/10 is because of thief utility (the faster I can clean out the Fane of Raman, the better).

Blah. Same situation as FE12. Rikard is inferior to Julian, but that pretty much makes no difference at all when it comes to opening the goodie cubes. Decent amount of treasure in FE11 but the game also gives you 10 Master Keys uses early on. There isn't much need to delpoy two thieves. But like eclipse mentioned earlier, a notable exception is chapter 19 which contains a decent amount of valuable stuff.

Eh, 2.5/10 since that's the same rating he got in FE12.

He's basically Julian but inferior, and Julian isn't too hot to begin with. I can't really come up with a reason as to why you'd deploy him (or Julian, but that's a different story).

See above. 2 or 3 chapters of dual thief utility aren't imperative to me (11, 14, 19), so...

I have never found thief utility that good to begin with...there are 2 early master keys and jagen or a dracoknight can open chests faster than a 7 move thief. And practically none of the chests are really needed...he also shouldnt be seeing any combat ever if you are doing it right. 1/10 (-1 bias because i hate him)

Dunno about chapters 14 and 19 but in chapter 11 double thief is not needed at all. If you are really pressed for turns you can just as well just rush a high mov unit with a master key to the bottom.

I'd like to know why you need a theif in Ch.11 because that chapter has no chests or doors, unless your talking about Ch.12.gee_wiz_emoticon.gif

Anyway, does what Julian does, but slightly worse due to wasting turns to recruit. Also he'd probably die if an armor and mage team up on him in Ch.6

2.5/10 = 0.5 because his conversation w/ Julian is funny.
