ZemZem
WARD. SO GOOD. Chapter 7: Rebellion at Ostia Turns taken: 25 This chapter...actually wasn't bad at all. It took me a few retries to get everything right because of stupid blunders I made, but I'm happy with how this chapter turned out. All villages were visited, and I got the two chest in the upper right corner. Missed out on Wolt and Dorothy's level ups, but Wolt's was HP and SKILL while Dorothy's were HP, SKILL, and RES. Dorothy's really disappointing me. :/ Boron isn't. She gains level fast due to being, like, 10 levels behind everyone else. Gotta keep the healers safe. The wyverns weren't too tough to deal with, because bows, supports, and axes. Even Roy could take hits from them, IF they could touch him. Good show. Zealot died next turn. :( Treck died during the second enemy phase in which he appeared, and I was able to recruit Noah. Boron's still getting good level ups. I just realized she procced STR in every level up up to this point, which is awesome. B support. Ward eats cavaliers for breakfast. Bring them on. Turns out that HM has three waves of the southern reinforcements. They were no problem whatsoever, because having a SPD blessed Ward is amazing. Missed out on it, but Ward's level up during the first wave of reinforcements was HP, STR, and SPD. His SPD is on par with Marcus's now, which is just...crazy. 20% SPD growth? How does he have 12 SPD at level 14...? DEF is nice. Scrubs. ... Dear Lord, Ward. Dear Lord. Not bad. Booooooroooon... Not bad, Lot. Roy seizes. And since I got the first promotional item (hero crest) this chapter, I might promote Ward soon. I'm leaning toward using weapons other than bows at this point, so 'Yes' will most likely win out. tenkiforecast
Level 15 Ward has, on average, 7.6 speed. Rounding, 8 speed. Your Ward is 5 above average with Speed. If this keeps up, you're going to have one of the bottom-tier characters solo the game. XD
Hash Jar
Dude wtf. Growth rates obviously don't matter to Ward. He takes his speed growth and does the opposite. 80% speed growth ftw. He's better than Dieck... Edited September 12, 2012 by Hash Jar
Jave
Ward already has more Speed than he would have at 20/20 on Average. WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SORCERY.
Shin
What! A Wolt who can do something. This run is amazing as always, I await the entrance of Shin.

ZemZem
The above two posts are true. Chapter 8: Reunion Turns taken: 30 MAD DASH TO THE THRONE GO! Well, I know who's getting the last Orion's Bolt for sure. Hahaha. Ward. STR blessed Boron and SPD blessed Ward. I'm getting quite lucky this run. Missed out on Wolt's level up, which was HP and SKILL, IIRC. Bleh. Lookin' good! Even better! HM bites me in the ass yet again. Thankfully I got Oujay and the THWOMPS out of there in time. Wolt, you're pushing it. I just don't like you anymore. His stats are pretty well-rounded. I'm glad this Roy's not getting RNG screwed. He isn't seeing combat as much as he used to, but his stats are good. SKILL is good. He's getting the secret book, too! Boron and Dorothy traded STR growths, it seems. A'ight. Okay. Dammit. Err...iron axe? Iron axe, it is. Ward got pretty lucky with the 45% hits, too. Roy helps with the light brand. I shall wait no longer. You're promoting next chapter, and that's final. Annnnd as promised! Roy seizes just in time. Next chapter, you'll see: All he needs is the Speedwings and a few lucky SPD procs. Hash Jar
I like how some of your units are beast and then others are Dorothy. Also it seems your blessed units decided they didn't need skill and traded it for everything else.
MacLovin
Good lord.............that one's about par with mine offensively. Ward is boss, screw the haters. Only diff is that mine has 23 strength/11 defense and a firexfire support. Edited September 13, 2012 by The Gentleman

ZemZem
Ward is boss, screw the haters. A fast Ward is a good Ward. Well! This is the last we'll see of imageshack images, since I'm nearing 500 pictures. After this chapter, Photobucket will be used! Imageshack says that old pictures will expire by the first of October...I hope that doesn't get rid of any pictures I posted on this site already. Also, poll going down. Bows will not be the only weapon type used. Sorry to those who voted 'No'! Chapter 8x: The Blazing Sword Turns taken: 30 Easy chapter. Only problem is that the boss is a pain in the ass to kill. I've NEVER used Ward before this, and I must say...I'm VERY impressed. 16 AS doubles for a good while, and his skill is not too bad either. He's getting the speedwings, too. Glad bows are accurate. Not bad, Roy. STR would've been appreciated, but you can't have everything. Eh. Dorothy is terrible, and needs all the help she can get. Lot, it's gonna take a while for you to get on par with Ward. At least it's STR. :/ Don't do this to me, Boron. Ward basically cracks away at the boss and hopes he criticals. Nice. Roy seizes.
ZemZem
Chapter 9: The Misty Isles Turns taken: 36 Part 1: Good chapter to train sword users, but Roy's all we got. Noah only comes to recruit Fir. My leader! Shin! Fir got smacked in the face trying to attack Ward. Bitch please. Hey- WHOA! Those HM bonuses! You're gonna make good use of those, Red! Pitiful. Speed is A-OK! SKILL is awesome, too. He's hitting things a lot more often now. ...Not a good start. Now THAT'S what I'm looking for! ZemZem
Part 2: She's rounding out nicely. DEF is nice! Lot, Shin, and Ellen took care of the units in the south while Ward, Sue, Roy, Wolt, and Dorothy took care of the pirates coming from the forts. Cool. SPD would've made this perfect. She's getting there quick. Well, it's better than your first. It's a good thing that bows are accurate enough to hit reliably. Keep 'em comin', Ward. Ending the chapter on a good note. Unfortunately, the village leading to Echinda's/Lalum's route has a killer bow, while Elphin's/Bartre's route just has a restore staff. Now, restore staffs are very helpful, but a killer bow would've been more so. Ah well. Merlinus sells a few things so staves and more weapons can be bought. After that, Roy seizes. ZemZem
Annnnnd last chapter of the day. Unless I get bored, since I have no homework tonight. Chapter 10B: Caught in the Middle Turns taken: 28 Part 1: Not too bad of a chapter. Ward rushes to the north to the two villages to the northwest, since if either he or Lot visits them, they get a speedwings from the left village, and a swordreaver from the right. Everyone else just stays in the middle, really. Shin accompanies Ward, and...is rather tanky? Ward is back on track with his SPD blessage. Wolt gets a good level. I honestly didn't know about this until I looked in the FE6 script one day. Very helpful info, and a speedwings is a lot more preferable than a stupid door key. Instead of Clarine, I had Roy recruit Klein. Klein talked to his little sis later. Once Wolt promotes, his stats will be slightly superior to Klein's. Klein's gonna do alright, but he's having a bit of trouble doubling. As for the troops that accompanied him, they could hold their own rather well, thanks to HM buffing them up. Sorry Gonzales. It had to be done. I like the little significance Ward and Lot have on this route. I really don't want to kill you, since you're my favorite FE6 character and the only reason why I play this game in the first place.
ZemZem
Part 2: "Why the FUCK did you jam your lance through my gut?!" Don't make me curse you. Lot is turning out nicely. Challenge accepted. SKILL and DEF. Great! Now Ward won't have issues doubling for a LONG time. He's basically my front liner. Boron is awesome. This has Boron's name on it. That's the same one you got last time! Curse you, Shin! I don't even care, since you're amazing. Because we saved all the villages: And because Klein's troops made it out safe. Tate's troops making it out would've made some nice cash, but oh well. A lot of bows are bought from the armory before Roy seizes.

tenkiforecast
I think you could solo most of the game with this Ward. He is the Ward of death, he who cares not for weapon weight but is so fast that he makes swordsmasters cry in envy. He is the Ward who makes armorknights of strength growth tremble in fear from his raw power. Seriously, this is probably one of the most stat-blessed characters I've seen. You're probably above 2 standard deviations with that speed stat, even without the speedwings. 0_o;
