On my first attempt I tried to berserk Rinehart, but he died pretty quickly to the ballista so I don't want to do that again. I was gonna rewarp Linoan to see how long she could live and this happened: She dodged almost everything. It was partly because of a lot of the enemies tried to capture her. Rinehart did too, which is probably why she's still alive (I think? I noticed that the enemy's status bar changed color in battle sometimes and their power suddenly reduced to much lower than what they should be). Such dumb luck xP I almost feel like restarting and doing this the hard way because that was just... silly. xD edit: Oh wait, I just realized Shanam died. It took me 15 minutes to decide who gets what equipment and making sure I have everything I need. I've brought all 9 people who need promoting so expect to see a lot of promotions this chapter. Safy, Shanam, and Delmud will be coming too but they're offscreen. (I made one more adjustment after this image and swapped Homer out for Linoan) I know you helped Marita out and all that, but seriously, gtfo. 10 stars is just insane. Aida... The woman that Sigurd talked to to end chapter 5? Hmm... Why was Manfroy after him in the first place? I'm pretty sure anyone would be happy to not get touched by Manfroy. I don't think it's so much that Julius was 'awakened' as it was the dark god that corrupted him. o: So he's related to Julius and Julia! I thought Manfroy would be most afraid of narga, not fala. Maybe Olwen can get him to go away or even turn to our side like in the cases of Lachesis and Altenna respectively. Her being with Julius is the issue, clearly. Or the alternative is that Olwen could pull a Jill and switch sides. And preferably not nuke everyone on the way to her. As if August would say anything else. Everyone better be especially careful on the bridge! ;-; An accessory to thievery? This technically makes Safy an accomplice. She's such a horrible influence on her klepto sister. Safy has her own vices too, what with her steroid addiction and all... Interesting... It appears Cyas is immune to all hostile staves. Coen is immune to all except the thief staff. I'll just take this berserk staff. This is why I brought 3 restore staffers. There must be some truly horrible magical stuff awaiting me if the game is suddenly throwing so many pure waters in my face. All of the soldiers near the starting point have one too. This is ridiculous. HP, magic, skill, speed ggs At least she got to move again. It begins... Magic, defense, movement The rear? You mean over by where Rinehart is? No thanks. That elite sword looks pretty sexy. I can't think of anyone that'd particularly need it now though. Cyas has now moved on to his sleep staff. HP, magic, luck Ready to promote! Yes HP, magic, speed, defense E rank and gives +5 defense! This guy is the perfect candidate for it! Now he can tank the ballistae until they run out of ammo without any worry of death. That's the only way I can get past them to get to the knight crests without any deaths. HP, strength, skill, luck, defense I am master of stalling. I kinda wanted the sleep staff. :< I'm not sure why I'm suddenly favoring Hicks so much. I was hoping Olwen would get the weapon rank for bolting by now. Hopefully she'll reach it this chapter. I thought the whole army was gonna come out for blood. Poor Shanam, he didn't make it in time. I might as well have him build up my cash reserves if he's gonna be trapped there. I'm surprised that he actually beat an enemy in the arena, especially without taking a hit. I guess this game bases the stats of the arena enemies on the stats of person entering, unlike FE4. There's the rest of them. He was nice enough to leave them behind a turn so that you wouldn't get assaulted by all of them after talking to him~ She's made her mind up. It looks like this isn't turning into a Jill/Shiharam Will he at least not attack us? o: Weapons given by siblings are always useful Hmm... It seems like she touched a nerve with that question. Nooooo You were supposed to leave or something... They really want me to deal with this guy? So it gives +10 magic but it's not a magic sword? wat. I guess it makes her immune to status staffs and laugh at magic, but she will not be able to counter them. How to deal with Rinehart... Charisma from Leaf's king sword and Delmud's innate skill have her hit rate in the 90s. With ambush the battle is over before they can even get an attack in. ... All of them ran away LOL I had Olwen dismount because of the horseslayer paladins. HP, strength, magic, luck Strength, magic, skill, luck, defense And Olwen's rampage effectively ends with a short nap. She gains a level before she goes to sleep. HP, strength, magic, skill, luck, build It'd be nice if you could have retreated before all of your forces were decimated. gtfo I wish he really had warp in his inventory. I can't forget these. HP, strength, magic, luck, defense Ready to promote! And you thought Fergus's speed was bad before. Finally done. Once I got past those darn ballistae it actually wasn't too crazy. Unfortunately I wanted Shanam to get to the armory for those knight proofs and the armory was in range of 5 of them. They're quite strong. Even non fliers were in trouble from the sheer number of them. Stalling was the only option I could think of aside from wasting valuable staffs to incapacitate the ballistae quickly or using warp+rescue to bring Shanam in and out of their range. I just abused charisma and for the most part the hit rates on the enemies weren't too bad. My units even dodged a few hits! They took a lot of damage though. I had to burn through 3 fortify staffs to keep everyone alive. Leaf's army's blood likely contributed to most of that crimson. Alright troops, you heard the man. Drink all of the blood! Half of those stars are gone too. ;-; Sara warps onto a fort so she can start taking out those ballistae and levels up. Defense If what's happening now isn't major, I don't know what is. Oh great, they're probably gonna go straight for the children. This is looking a lot like FE4 now, only Sety isn't sitting on the manster throne. Altenna's bases took a hit too. Thankfully she wasn't destroyed as badly as her brother. No gae bolg though. +10 defense bonus is so great~ Sara exposes her armpit in retaliation, instantly killing the enemy. Mighty Kamina Posted February 1, 2013 Share Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) Be careful during chapter 24, there are generic heroes that will freeze the game if you scroll over them, so I would recommend using savestates just so if you accidentally scroll over them you won't have to redo the entire chapter. However Leaf, Nanna, Fergus, and Delmud can all use it. Unfortunately the reason Cyas has to leave is because Sety joined you. If you don't recruit Sety Cyas stays. And the third group is to rush the throne room, I guess. Ha, we only need two groups then. They can easily be dispatched from a distance. Mmm. I hope each group has what it needs. Don't make promises you can't keep, Leaf. The mercenaries are so powerful that the game freezes in horror just from scrolling over them. Seriously though, what is with these glitcheroes? Blank level Yeah, the ensuing conversation is kinda long for me to screenshot most of it. It's basically Eyvel speaking to Leaf, Nanna, Dagda, Othin, Havan, Marita, and Galzus. They all thank her for being an amazing mother figure and an amazing person in general. Eyvel agrees to take care of Marita for Galzus, and he promises to visit Marita at least once per year. Oh and there's also this uninteresting LITTLE tidbit: A traveling mercenary with no memory of anything before 10 years ago... Well, this is a shock! She doesn't even wield bows. She might accept that she's Briggid when she sees Patty and Faval. Ichival triggered her memory once; I'm sure it can do it again. Final chapter is up next, hooray!
