And every now and then I would see a link that would lead to this website. I would look at the information and not bother with the rest. Eventually I went into serenesforest and sign up. The Envoy of the Beginning Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) My curiosity for FE6 (which started when I was reading unit comparisons among the GBA FE games somewhere on the FE7 GameFAQs), and eventually, the earlier Fire Emblem games, led me to search up more information. FEPlanet, FESS, Fire Emblem Fusion, Serenes Forest (which didn't have a forum at the time I first searched for information) and other sites/boards I don't have in mind at the moment. Serenes Forest had the information I wanted, and more. Little fun fact: Because I discovered this site months before the forum opened up, I could have joined the forums as early as the first few days. But I initially didn't care for being a part of the forums when it opened. I was just a lurker those days. That slowly changed, and look at where I am now. I really like trees and I really like the herons so I was like "ooh I should check that site out" and so I saw how much info it had so I kept using it. I looked up the information for that game for awhile, then kind of fell out of it. Then when Awakening was announced, I started keeping up with this site a lot more, especially when I saw the Japanese site. After awhile, I just decided to join so I could keep up with the information that the game had to offer. In the end, I'm glad I did. I happen to check the forums there and someone mentioned serenes forest. After about a month I discovered the forums here and then after a month or 2 of lurking I joined here. It's possible that I'd stumbled onto it earlier when looking for Fire Emblem-related content though. A better question would be how I found FESS. Which I'm still not sure of today. I asked what those are and i was led to a link with a page of average stats (I was asking on the board if a character was RNG Screwed)... That's how i found out about Serenes Forest. Vincent had a link to it in his signature on FESS. I still occasionally chuckle when I think back to the time some of the so called Serenes veterans objected when Josh made me a mod on the grounds that I hadn't been around very long even though I was using the site long before they even heard of it. It had died and i was sad so i looked for a new FE haunt. I saw the main site and was pretty impressed with the info and i saw there was forums. And so i joined.
