Aleph
~ Phase 6 ~ Initially, you are puzzled about how to inspect the distant, majestic creature. Using your limited intelligence, you think back as far as you can remember (up to a whole 30 seconds ago). You recall that throwing plants worked well against your last foe, so you try it again. Your completely stupid and uninitiated idea succeeds. Lo! Your haphazard experimentation, in true scientific form, has garnered you improved intelligence. Admittedly, however, a lot of your success was just dumb luck. You're feeling pretty crafty now. Perhaps this is because your overall ability has improved (achievement unlocked). Perhaps it is because you feel as if you've cheated death by avoiding a dangerous battle. Either way, it's time to put your improved intelligence to the test. ← Acquire More Swag for Science ~ Explore the castle → Edited February 26, 2014 by Izayoi

Aleph
~ Phase 7 ~ You regard the lustrous wonder that is Hammer's collection of weapons. A fanciful knife in particular catches your eye. You determine quickly that it is uniquely ergonomic, and begin to slash around the room wildly with it. Before your are content with your browsing, however, you identify a glimmering delight: The Silver Gun. You must have it. You break candles like nobody's business until you can afford it. OH YES. It was worth the purchase, but now you seem to be low on gold. Then you come across an unfortunate obstacle in your travels... Oh dear. Wait, didn't we just learn that...? You furiously break more candles, pawning any worthless junk you have as well. Mmm.Take that, wall! You journey through the strange new passage you've accessed and are ambushed by SPACE ALIENS. Or whatever those are supposed to be. Homonculi? You sure you didn't just make that word up? Whatever they are, they're ugly and weak, like tiny bugs. You exterminate them with extreme skill and prejudice and uncover the treasures beyond. Swaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag You explore the path further and begin to notice familiar architecture. Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh, what does this button do? So you press it, and follow the disintegrated floorceiling to discover... You're back outside. You've uncovered two shortcuts that lead back to the town you found Hammer nesting in. You could stick around and play outside some more, but sometime you're going to have to get over your fear of clowns... ← Breath of Fresh Air ~ Play Room → Edited February 26, 2014 by Izayoi

Aleph
~ Phase 8 ~ Upon entering the Play Room you are greeted by a hideous, cackling, maniacal clown. You instinctively explode into a fit of fear and rage The clown doesn't give a damn, though, and laughs at you as he makes his escape! Forget that. You follow the clown, foaming at the mouth. THE CLOWN MUST DIE. Wait, where did that clown go? He's a tricky one, that basta- What the goddamn craphell?! This must be another of the clown's tricks! The first of course being that he was able to outrun you despite his obesity. You appear to have been transported to an alternate dimension (achievement unlocked) eerily similar to and of crappier resolution than before. Upon exploring your new surroundings a bit, you come upon this place's version of the Dance Hall. You're not sure if this is the same Demon Guest House in a different place or time. You're not sure if this is an entirely different Demon Guest House. You're not entirely sure if you're even in Kansas the same castle anymore. (Castlevania takes place in Kansas; little known fact) One of the unusually minor differences you notice about your new surroundings is the presence of bulls. You could stop to hold a private rodeo, but you should probably try to find your way back... ← No way, ride the bull ~ Okay yeah, let's get out of here → Edited February 26, 2014 by Izayoi

Aleph
~ Phase 9 ~ Fail. Get embarrassed. Fortunately, your strength, speed and skill are enough to break free of the petrification and avoid becoming cow poop. You continue along your detour, narrowly evading obnoxious foes along the way. You've seen a lot of them before and begin to suspect you really are in the same castle. Perhaps you've time traveled? Nah, that's ridiculous You reach a dead end, but to your irritation surprise, all of your old enemies annoyances friends are gathered there. You stop to say hello to Hammer and Mina. Yoko seems to be continuing her usual habit of being a lazy bitch, however. ← Dance Hall Basement ~ Climb to the Clock Tower → Edited March 1, 2014 by Izayoi
