Rush RoA, get an hourglass, he works great with abyssal, rylai's is kind of broken on him, chalice into grail if you can't get blue, as with every other APC a dcap helps greatly. Due to his particular mechanics, I love getting a Spirit Visage too. Not to mention, as a DoT mage - did someone say Liandry's? I know he is a DoT mage, but apart from that i'm at a loss about him (and other DoT mages). Rod of Ages, probably Zhonya's, Visage if you're really hurting you want stuff with beef so you can run in and just heal tank like a boss Like I'd say I'd probably do Sorc Shoes, Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Liandry's, Zhonya's, Rabadon/Void depending on their MR Abyssal is also viable, tear can work but it takes forever to stack, Edited September 3, 2013 by Psych Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have been using him on bots, and i usually level e first because the damage can't be stopped by walking away and it also increases the damage from other abilities. I saw the top laner for NWE go for Q first for the slow but the general consensus is E for laning (makes Swain's trade damage hurt a lot more). Your call though.
