Well whichever one is picked chances are I'll be cohosting it so yeah.

On an unrelated note: I have lots of silly filler game ideas help

Contrary to EM mechanics, Sniper has contact with Framer and can nightkill

edit: someone please tell me these are bad ideas and I shouldn't host them ever

Snooping Around owns although I'd maybe give town some sort of way to stop kills due to the possibility for two extras. That or just make it 9:2 with a BP framer.

also serious answer: I would take Neopets over Asylum for nostalgia reasons.

Well it is kinda meant to a filler sized game so yeah adding numbers is a little out of the question (besides, town still has a mislynch after the two shots and honestly I don't think town needs the second mislynch)

I could make it BP Framer and add a regular BP in place of a vanilla so Snoop has another set of items to consider

edit: I could make it two town BP's actually is what I'm thinking to let framer hide a little better

that's actually a pretty good idea

EDIT: but if you have two town BPs then either the framer should be BP as well, or the vests should only block against vigs

with 3 BPs including framer i'd probably change the set-up to 6:2 due to the high possibility of failed extra kills and clears once one scum dies

I can agree with this; once framer is gone all hit bp's are cleared and if sniper is gone and deputy still has their shot they can shoot for a clear

edit: I've just realised how little love snoop gets in closed setups rip

I don't like Snoop because it tends to be a flavor based role and most people already spend too much time thinking about flavor

People suck for not implementing Snoop right

I will find a way to put one in a closed setup one day

I think EM and forum mafia games don't mix well.

this is true, because there are a lot more things you can do with forum mafia

Readjusted the setup based on feedback above and I'm happy with it, and massclaim doesn't break the setup which is cool too (assuming RL's and sniper shooting deputy (worst case for town) who doesn't get to shoot, scum wins 2/3 times. It's assumed the Framer hides in BP's and Sniper hides in vanillas.)

So yeah I'm up for hosting this as a filler if it's required.

You have no powers beyond your word and your vote.

You are aligned with the Town. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

You have a bulletproof vest that will allow you to survive one kill attempt on your life during the game. If a kill attempt is made on your life, you will no longer appear to have a vest. This does not stop lynches.

You are aligned with the Town. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

Dear <USER>,

You are the Snoop.

Each night, you may reply to your Role PM with ##Snooping: <USER>. You will snoop around their house that night and determine what items they have, if any.

You are aligned with the Town. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

Dear <USER>,

You are the Deputy.

At any time during the day, you may reply to your Role PM only with ##Shoot: <USER>. You will fire your gun at <USER>, making an attempt on their life. This will be resolved the moment a host sees the action. Once you have shot your gun, you will not appear to have a gun anymore.

You are aligned with the Town. You win when the Mafia are eliminated.

10:3 town:scum

N1 Start

All players, save the Scum, start as Vanilla before the game begins (for purposes of confirmation).

At the start of each Day Phase, after night actions are resolved, the 13 town roles are distributed randomly among all living players, including scum.

Scum players cannot use any town power role they receive. They have their own roles which are persistent to the scum player.

When a player dies, the PM that player had during the day is removed from the pool of town roles. This includes scum holding town power roles.

I was about to say something about how there's twenty roles but then I realized that I can't count. Why does the mafia have a doc when there's only one town kill?

don't worry clipsey they had (past tense) a driver too which made it worse

edit: also if tracker finds you protecting a scum and you flip it looks reallllly bad

That's half the fun of WIFOM but then you actually lose the protection on your scumbuds so.
