They eliminate the need to wear long socks because the skirt doesn't reach that far down, and if it did it would be tough for me to stretch or run or such. Also, the few times I wore a skirt, sitting down was hard, and someone took an upskirt photo. It was too hard to kick without showing something so I punched instead. Also, skirts don't always help to hide things. Besides Men aren't trying to hide our 'dangly parts' we're trying to hide our horrible gorilla legs. Well... I'm not hairy in general but I assume nobody wants to see that.
