PM ME MARIANNE ART
Oh cool! Porygon2 (and all the other pokemon with good defenses that can use eviolite) are ultra hard to beat, but I was under the impression that mega alakazam was worse than regular alakazam... Porygon2 is a brick Mega Alakazam is amazing, base 170 SpA hits anything hard, and it gets trace and an amazing movepool so there's really not many bad things about it Also, you should totally make a Gallada in preparation for ORAS. Working on it right now I think I'll go jolly because supposedly it gets huge boosts to its speed what's your opinion?

It's basically mega gengar without shadow tag I still need to make a mega gardevoir but I want to MM for that one I think it might be due to the loss of Magic Guard Life Orb. And I have a fully trained Gallade, though I'm unsure whether he has the appropriate EVs and nature.

It's basically mega gengar without shadow tag I still need to make a mega gardevoir but I want to MM for that one Because IIRC life orb with magic guard is stronger, so the only thing mega alakazam would have is the speed, and gengar's typing is better. hmm, what does MM mean? PM ME MARIANNE ART
isn't magic guard with life orb better base 170 special attack more than makes up for it plus a huge speed boost I think it might be due to the loss of Magic Guard Life Orb. Masuda method, if you breed one a pokemon from one country with one from a different country then the chances of getting a shiny hugely increase

But to have hyper voice it needs to be from gen V. unless there are move tutors on ORAS (Which I really hope happens) Edited September 14, 2014 by NOBODY

LuxSpes
base 170 special attack more than makes up for it plus a huge speed boost see above You do about the same damage as LO Alakazam and you're faster. But Alakazam is already really fast and Magic Guard makes him immune to entry hazard, status effect and residual damage. I have a Shiny Hyper Voice Gardevoir (and my Gallade is Adamant with 252 HP and Attack EVs, so I guess I'll wait to see M-Gallade's stats before breeding another one)

Nobody
iirc hyper voice is gardevoir's egg move but I'm not entirely sure so Alakazam is UU but mega Alakazam is OU That doesn't work like that. Unless Mega alakazam is banned from UU, but then it's not OU, otherwise regular alakazam wouldn't be allowed in UU (you can ban the stone, but you can't use a pokemon that is a tier higher because of the mega evolution one tier below)
Pull My Devil Trigger
252+ SpA Life Orb Alakazam Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 348-411 (53.3 - 63%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 252+ SpA Mega Alakazam Psyshock vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 325-384 (49.8 - 58.8%) -- 74.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery idk someone double check smogon's calc is confusing
