That's...really weird. I wouldn't have expected that, after seeing the Treehouse footage and being so sure it was a 1-range physical attack. Then again I haven't spotted a single screenshot that showed the stats of any dragonstone, so a little help there would be appreciated.

The regular Dragonstone has the following:

Mt: 14

Hit: 85

Double: 0

Avoid: -10

Range: 1

Rank: E

Effect: Skl -3, Spd -2, Def +4, Res +3

Also I think it gives +10 to Crit Avo but I'm not sure.

WHAT. We can have a dragon stone with FIVE RANGE?

Wow, this actually reminds me of Gaiden and Tear Ring Saga with ridiculous ranged attacks.

Very interesting. I assume these are for the player only?

Please no story spoilers ehehe...

Er.....he said breaths though. Not dragonstones.

Crap, well that sounds like final boss stuff, so better steer clear of that.

Child Proof (Seal)?

I am honestly curious to see what this does. First Marriage proofs, now this?

Just a little thing I wanted to say is that the "Long range heal" (not sure which one it was, I think there are multiple) only healed like single digit HP.

And they're expensive per use (Pretty sure the cheapest or so still costs 1500-1000g per usage), so I guess we're gonna be stuck with 1 or 1-2 range heals

Holy shit that's crazy. Are all the S-rank weapons this ridiculous?

Based on the description, I'm 99% sure it's a personal weapon, so unlikely.

Yeah it is a personal weapon. Still, it's the first of its type that I've seen, so I don't really know what to expect xD

Can that shit double?

Presumably yes, I see no restrictions. The other unique weapons can also double as well

I don't think Garon is fast enough though, or normal anyway.

Garon has Dragonskin as well, Joy. It also now reduces the effects of Skills AND Crits, not that you'll be critting due to the effect of + 20 Evade

I think that axe beats everything I've seen so far in the entire series, except the Original Helswath. It may even beat Awakening's Helswath due to the extra range, 3 mt, 30 hit, plus oh, the Crit and Evade. Ridiculous indeed.

Well, that'll be fun on Classic Hard Nohr mode. Also, what is his class?

Edit: Don't forget the 1-3 range.

I was told that it's supposedly Dark Lord (Ninja'd!)

Small compensation is that he can't move, like most bosses.

Unfortunately, he gets throne bonuses, like 13 hp healed per turn

I'm currently running the numbers for Dragonskin, it seems I was blind on the second time I watched the video

Also there appear to be two, and I'd say one more for the DLC, versions of Yatogami, from what I can tell.

The Yatogami being used against Garon is "Yatogami (Byakuya?)" [Yatogami (White Kingdom?)]

I'm not sure what Dragonskin does, or maybe it's just Yatogami having a special property

48 ATK vs 23 Defense dealt 17 Damage, when it would normally be doing 25.

45 ATK vs 23 Defense dealt 15 Damage, when it would normally do 22.

I think Yatogami changes Dragonskin to 2/3 of your normal damage, instead of halving your damage?

I'm not sure of the throne bonuses though..and I need to check the other weapons as well

Mozume, 45 ATK with Lance vs 23 Defense dealt 11 damage. Seems to be working, except is the Weapon Triangle ignored? Or does it just not affect damages?

It does say Yatogami - Byakuya, yeah. Interestingly, I saw a version of Yatogami elsewhere that was called Yatogami - Chouya (literally Long Night), which doesn't correspond to either Hoshido or Nohr's Japanese names.

Can't answer any of the mechanics-related questions at this point lol.

Oh shit this is Hoshido. Imagine GanonGaron in Nohr...

Lol, he doesn't move? He just fights sitting on his ass in his throne?

Cutscene power to the max at first.

From his throne, he starts launching magic at you, before rushing down to meet you with his axe.

When Aqua tries to do her singing power, he grabs her (by the neck)

What happens next is that Ryouma's sword reacts to the Yatogami (I think), (which has already previously reacted with Takumi's Bow.

This "upgrades" the Yatogami, and Kamui frees Aqua.

Then map, yeah

So yeah, cutscene power to the max, then we get out "power up" and/or cutscene power to the max and cancel his.

Additional Note, though slightly spoilers as well

I would like to add Garon's Axe to the Wiki as well, but I don't know it's name.

I found some Japanese sites that have info on many weapons and staves from both games. However, some are still missing and they haven't updated weapon hit rate, might and such yet.

Just noticed the information is missing but the Nohr Kunai have similar debuff effects to the Hoshido Shuriken in addition to the regular effects(like -3 double threshold for Steel).

Bronze Kunai debuff: - 1 SKL, - 1 SPD, -2 DEF, -2 RES

Iron Kunai debuff : -2 MAG, -3 DEF, -3 RES

Fruit Knife debuff: -2 SKL, -3 DEF, - 3 RES

Steel Kunai debuff: -3 STR, -4 DEF, - 4 RES
