Why should you take any pride in the type of games you play or how you play them over other people? Would you say "I'm proud to be a [insert genre of music] fan" (mainly because I think it's "better" than everything else)? It's a preference, not a source of pride.

To say that you're a casual or hardcore gamer... with intensity! is just kind of stupid.
