Wait, you got the Zenithian Sword before the Wagon? Hmm, not something I see happening often.

Anyway, I'd recommend you recruit a Slime Knight ASAP. You won't regret it. Due to encounter zones, you can find them northeast of Fortuna, without having to cross into Coburg. Also get the Monster Magnet in the Casino. It will help greatly for recruiting.

Yeah, I kinda missed out on it. XD

I haven't managed to recruit any monster yet. I guess I'll have to head back to Fortuna YET AGAIN for that Magnet thingy...
*sigh*

Oh!
Well then, okay! But thanks for the heads-up, anyway!
Currently romping through Coburg Castle, trying to find... something. Not sure what I'm doing, but the game kinda told me to be here, so... here I am!
I guess...

Well, always, when in doubt, talk to everyone, inspect things like bookshelves, use Party Chat.

There's always something pointing the way forward. It's just a matter of finding it.

I sometimes happen upon the way to move forward by pure happenstance.
Like right now. I ended up on a completely different part of the map, standing in front of some kind of tower with doors that won't open.

This is how I feel playing DQV at the moment. XD

Knwoing Nasuverse lore...

I can guess what he's planning

I can hazard a guess, but since I don't know any Nasuverse lore beyond Fate (and even then, saying I "know" the lore is a bit of a stretch), that guess could be way past the mark.

Well, goes back to what I said. If you found the teleportal, you had to have passed by some bookshelves. Inspect one of them, then Party Chat for good measure.

The next chapter will shed some light on that one!

At least I got my first two monsters now.
A slime and one of those adorable mushroom things wielding a hammer.

And now one of my little monster friends has turned into a coffin.

The irony when said monsters is like:

DQVII Walking corpse.png

Do they become re-dead and then the priest resurrects them back to undead?

That... is a very good question.
Especially when Square Enix' other JRPG franchise, Final Fantasy, has taught us that revival spells kill the undead, which you can use to your advantage to cheese an otherwise very daunting boss fight in Final Fantasy X: throw two Phoenix Downs at it and the thing is dead, just like that.

Ah, the second Evrae right, classic. Hopefully it doesn't act and petrifies someone before that second PD.

I know there's examples in other FF games where you can do the same.

Yep, that's the one!
Tidus and Rikku will usually be fast enough to act before Evrae can petrify you if you've levelled them well.

hopefully the wait will only be 1 month xD

Hopefully!

FF8's GeroGero.

Although, Abadon is a zombie who cant be killed by Pheonix Down's, only healing magic.
