DragonFlames
Say... Is it normal that you randomly start dealing single digit damage to bosses in FC? Please don't tell me Josette is going to be a recurring antagonist. Please.

Usually, from what I understand, that’s because they’ve resisted a status effect you’ve tried to inflict. Normal attacks shouldn’t have that happen. Any Trails experts correct me if I’m wrong though. When I fought the boss my damage with normal attacks was somewhere between 40 and 50, but sometimes, I would just do straight up 0, or at most, like 5 or 6 per round. That only happened for a few turns though. After that, damage output went back up to normal. I mean, I did end up beating the boss, but... I feel like it was more annoying than it needed to be. Especially since I had nothing to cure petrifictation.

I would understand it if it was constistently that low, but seeing as how it was kind of fluctuating between super weak and normal, it really makes me worry. Because if that is going to happen in every boss fight from now on, I'm not going to be happy. 1 minute ago, Armagon said: Well she's recurring but she's not really an antagonist. Now I know why she gave me so many bad vibes when she appeared there...
Lightcosmo
All right, im at Atelier Ryza's endgame, and my analysis is: This game honestly blew me away. It was super fun and I thought the story was really fantastic and the I felt like the characters really grew, which was cool. Are all the other games that good? If so, I'll check into them. Glad you enjoyed it! ^^ The only Atelier game I haven't enjoyed was Atelier Totori. Every other game I've played gave me a fantastic experience. If you think this game is for you, then the others are, as well, I'm sure!

Did the boss have some kind of def buff? Or you a STR debuff? In general thougj, i recommend keeping buffs up if you want to use normal attacks

But other than that, I had no debuffs on the enemy or myself. Just inconsistent damage. And petrification. I'm still scratching my head about it. Definetly strange Honestly though, better stick to Arts Cast Quartz are so much better in Sky than in CS as well And use buffs xD

Thanks for the tips! ^^ The reason I didn't use arts during the boss fight was... ... actually, why didn't I use them often? Atelier Sophie was my entry point into the franchise, and I think Atelier Lulua is the best one, though Lulua is the fourth in the "Arland" series of games, so if you want to play that, it may be better to play Atelier Rorona first (but you don't need to. I played Lulua before Rorona, as well, and didn't have any problems understanding the story of Lulua at all). All three are very enjoyable games, though, and I can recommend all of them without a second thought.

It made lower difficulty to normal for a bit, before i restarted on hard again because i found Normal too easy xD 2 minutes ago, DragonFlames said: Whichever you like more gimme some time then
