Ys 7 is worse in this regard but when you compare how quick and fun bosses are in the 2D Metroid games, it becomes really jarring how not fun they are in the Prime games. Boss is pretty slow iirc. Biggest Problem is honestly the vanish attack, because if it gets someone he is dead (and you can't revive). Normal it just takes away all EP and takes the character away for a while... in the last phase of the final boss however it kills and you can't even revive.
