Anyway, the quarry (not mine) was fun. Taking a sledghammer to a rock seems easy when your dad does it. It was not so easy for me, but I tried to help out a bit carrying rocks, at least. Got a few pretty looking pebbled out there.

I also realized I had no idea what the Spanish word for crowbar is lol. Now I do, at least.

Palanca works but it's a more general term for long sticks used to operate stuff. For instance, it also works as lever. My dad and his friend called it uñeta. Probably not exact, but it got the message across.

BTW, speaking of FE6 hack issues, there’s one called Project Ember or something that somebody managed to make work. He didn’t change a whole lot though, just a couple backgrounds and sprites. Roy’s better and has 2 more move range. Knights are no longer completely useless since they can now use swords and have 1 more move range. Archers have one extra attack range.

I think he nerfed Clarine’s dodge ability though 🤬

All right, Lamia's just about done. Now that's some sweet, sweet FE4 hair right there. Her face looks weird, but well, it's a FE4 design. And now, to restore the female myrmidon class. I've had to restore so many of the classes I replaced after deeming them unnecessary...

Now for the next. I do know I want to add Ruben, then a fourth so I can create a pair of Samson/Arrans. I've refrained from doing it before because every time I made a portrait I went "awww but I don't want people to miss this character" and then ended up doing away with like, every mutually exclusive pair in the game. It's about time I brought them back.

I do know I can't keep going mad with the extra characters, though. FE6 is a game that is, as we know, built rather shoddily. If I shoot past the combined total of units you can have at the trial maps with every bonus character unlocked, the game's likely to break, so I have to be careful. These four will probably be the last I have room for.

I've played Project Ember, yes. I've seen it described as "FE6 for people who hate FE6", and I do feel it's an apt description.

Like countless FE6 rebalances before it, I enjoyed it when I played it. Don't think I'd go back to it, I love FE6 and its bullshit too much.

But I think that this was more or less an holdover from how an lot of European countries were kind of late in regards of changing their political system into an democracy. Almost surprised with how that there isn't an push to address that.

Defamation laws in general are pretty weak in Europe. It's why JK Rowling can legally threaten anybody in the UK that calls her a meanie.

The other thing the U.S has over Europe is the military. I say this because even with NATO, Europe has to keep an eye out on Russia while Asia has to keep an eye out on China (and Australians have to keep an eye out on the emus). US sees China as an economic rival and Russia's just always been on our shit list but literally no other country in the world would dare a direct military attack on the US.

I don't wanna sound like I'm hacking off to the US military if that's what it sounds like, I'm just saying, it is a fact that we do have the strongest military in the world and it's not even close.
