Why do you find it scummy that Boron's post differs a bit from Mancers'? They aren't the same person after all, so it's natural that their thought process won't be exactly the same. Also could you point out what exactly you disliked about Boron's post?

Not finding Mancer or Shinori particularly scummy from their exchange at the moment.

Wanna see some people say stuff before I do.

Good morning all. Glad Bananas finally got off the bench and did something.

Shinori and Mancer have their tryhard pants on today, and while I can see some semblance of overreaction from both, I also think that with half the game not posting, it's unfair to develop reads it is entirely possible that the entire team of opponents hasn't posted by the time I fell asleep, and mind you, I posted later than usual. AFAI can tell, 5 still have yet to post. I see more in town bickering than anything else out of this.

Anywho, I must say that with more players posting, I think I figured a few things out. RP is mandatory, and spendin the first couple of hours fulfilling the requirement is more of a maneuver to follow the rules than anything else. Game seems to be moving past kickoff now though, so I think it all resolving itself as activity grows.

Something seems a bit off about SB too. While I don't mind him ignoring votes on him, his RVS on Lucina seems a tad more contradictory to the rest of his post against Mancer. And seriously, did you just log on to make a two liner and votals? It doesnt even look like you RP'd. And more of a concern to me is Lucina; what was that Mancer vote based on? It's never a bad thing to want the game to proceed. Wanting RP to hit the sidelines is one thing, but wanting effort to hit the sidelines is not good in my play book.

Eli, why am I not allowed to sleep? I've done a tiny bit of RPing, I just think doing it blatantly isn't such a great idea seeing as how it might end up hinting at our roles. How is it contradictory to the rest of my post about Mancer if I said I thought he and Shinori were in town fighting?

And you said Mancer and Shinori were Intown fighting then you proceeded to suggest that he obtain reactions by voting for someone else. He was getting plenty of reactions from Shinori, and heck you even acknowledged that just kne sentence earlier.

Unless your meant more reactions or other reactions. But you didn't say that so I'm reading what you actually said.

I'm trying to get my head around things before I rush out with opinions, and having votals helps that.

If I think Shinori is town then there's no point in reaction testing him when a. he isn't here, and b. some others haven't got much out to judge them on, so I'd prefer to see something from them rather than Shinori/Mancer in-town fighting again.

I don't really like Elie's slight push against SB here. We're all busy. So he made votals. He was clearly kinda rushing when he made them (thanks still though SB) and he was doing something that helped him and others get a grib on where the game is. I feel like if he continues to not make content posts, then you can push at him, but otherwise I don't really see a point and I think you're grasping for something here.

EDIT: Turning signatures off actually helps quite a bit! Purrhaps you guys have too many quotes in there. It is much less noisy!

Did not like Scorri's last post for the night at all. Giving the thread the impression you're "giving up" simply won't do, it makes you look like a victim, especially when followed up with a phrase like "have fun voting me"

Never said I was giving up. I'm just so busy dealing with every part of this school that sometimes I have more important things to do. I was talking to a specific person (Prims) at that point because they were the only person voting me at that point. Basically, I was saying I wasn't scared of one vote and that he could continue voting me if he really wanted to. If by giving up, you mean I was saying I was done posting for the night, then I guess technically yes, I gave up. But, you're really misrepresenting what I said there. gj.

You also ignore my most recent post. See, if you look there, you'll notice I also mentioned I won't be around very much. You see, because I'm having to deal with the entire school as opposed to just part of it like most of you, I have a lot on my plate and I can't always be around. I tend to prefer to let people know when I'll be gone so I don't get votes for not being around when people think I should be. Plus it's being polite. Common courtesy and all of that.

Telling us "I don't feel like playing Mafia for the night" does stand out as a phrase similar to "I give up". If you were going to bed or somesuch, "I'm going to bed" would have simply done. Why make a post that paints you as a victim if not to throw people off?

I can agree that one vote isn't a big deal, especially day one, but it's not really worth putting a light on, except to victimize yourself.

So... right. Hi. You haven't played with me much probably. I uh... there are times I need to just step away from things and just can't deal with some things. Sometimes I honestly just can't deal with playing mafia. Either because I've started to care to much or because my brain is just sucking and putting me in a place like that. Last night I said that as opposed to "going away for the night" or something like that because I knew I wouldn't be sleeping and as such would most likely appear as active on the forums due to looking at other things like the RP section and I didn't want people to call me out for lurking when that really wasn't it. Trust me, I've done this before regardless of alignment.

If that is the case, I would purrfur I have confirmation from another player this is indeed the case before I unmeow or am forced to come up with additional reasons to keep the meow placed.

Hey Scorri if you didn't notice I called attention to something I found (because grasping within the first 12 hours at something isn't as unrealistic as you might think), in the effort to see how he would handle being pressed on something other than RVS. I even unvoted him. Heck we have no claims to discuss, and a handful of yet-to-post players. All we can do right now is discuss reactions and responses, and SB's and Lucina's responses just stuck out to me.

I don't see you pressing anyone for any sort of case really (well, I guess you pressed me for pressing SB). But then you give me a clear like "if he keeps posting minimal content then it's ok for you to poke and prod him". As if you can just jump back to this is SB improves, and keep on me if he doesn't. That last sentence really weakened the validity of your case.

So seems like the big thing last page was Mancer Vs Shinori? Yea i think that was it. Now there responses could have been considered overacting but, i don't exactly see either them as scummy. Now sure, what Mancer did(Telling that he was gauging reactions.) may be idiotic, but it isn't all that scummy. Now that he is a Pro-Town MVP over here, just don't seem him as too scummy.

My biggest concern is Lucina. Simply on the bases of here Mancer vote. I don't like it. Now sure rushing things, is often a bad idea, but this vote seems based on two posts, that were either, not-serious or RP.

Even if those posts are serious, what is wrong with trying to move the game? Game just started, in D1, and RVS has started, nothing wrong with trying to speed that along.

This here post annoys me more than I think it should. So much so, even, that I'm willing to waste my first post responding to this.

On to more interesting matters. Mancer's early posting behavior suggests he was between happy and hyper, and while he did play suboptimally, I can not see it serving an anti town goal. As such I think the amount of attention he has gotten is out of proportion, because it really is just an uninteresting null tell.

Secondly, Shinori. Him becoming angry at someone at someone for being harassed by them is really not outside his emotional palette, and other than that I'm not seeing scummy behavior from him so again I'm not seeing what we're discussing here.

On to lynch targets.

I said the exact opposite of how you started out. The only person i said was scummy was Lucina, and i don't think her vote was RVS, if it was then Lucina didn't make that clear enough.

Elie's post here feels like something's missing, since he said he didn't like me too. Maybe I'm looking too much into this, it's probably nothing, but Elie, was anything there before? Prims singling out Bal for active lurking when Paper and Helios had been doing it strikes a little odd rather than saying to everyone to stop active lurking too. I still don't like Lucina since there isn't much content there, and I still want her opinion on Shinori, so my vote stays for now. Rocker, if you missed the stuff about me then reread, it's not too far above you.
