If the persuader is mafia(which is most likely what s/he is), s/he might have a scum buddy that would be an investigator but since there was no N1, I am guessing there was no investigations so Nightmare might be a mafia trying to play clean, or he was picked randomly(also, note that he wasn't contributing at that time, so he was most likely picked randomly if he isn't mafia that is.) There isn't really a drawback to the persuader claiming; nobody cares if he gets nightkilled. Well, there's no reason to claim now either. Especially now that he decided to persuade someone so early, a scummy move at best. I doubt anyone is able to investigate now, and the persuader can't investigate, so that's either: A) A blind shot B) The persuader is Mafia and chose to pin his vote on Nightmare from the very beginning. That points to Flint/Blitz, who's voted Nightmare for a weak reason, and then completed his plan by persuading into voting on Nightmare C) Something I can't think right now expect persuator might be mafia and thus know who else are mafia. ANd just saying, this one isnt acting very town like persuator That still doesn't justify why we should lynch Nightmare... Did Flint/Blitz vote on Nightmare? Usually town ones work like this: 1) say something like Im persuator and I like to will proof my role by persuating person X, please dont kill me. 2) persuate to proof role. In this game such thing didn't happen. Instead we got this rather scummy persuation. +1 on is our persuator scummy count Only thing that this persuation did was result derailment. This helps mafia +1 on is our persuator scummy count Now about person who got persuated, he is more than likely random so I will not dig in it. As for why are we justified to lynch nightmare. When the game starts at D1 there will never ever be completely justified kill period. We have 2 options: 1 no kill 2 kill No kill means we didn't do a thing. thats helping mafia right there. Kill gives us something to work on. Nighty could very well be random victim. HOWEVER he could be cold bloodedly chosen target by mafia. We can test this by killing him. Tells more than your average random kill. So what to do? Kill the blitz who tries to play way too scummy to be scummy in my books (read as I don't think he is that bad of player to collect unneeded attention as scum) or Nighty and see what it results? Both ar far shots and definately not justified. Thats how first kill works. As for blitz's scummy vote on nighty, I see it as pressure type. I'm still not quite getting where this wagon is going besides motives I can't quite comprehend, though maybe I'm not reading this very clearly at all since I don't tend to participate fully until after the first day (which is what I'm trying to change, though I seem to be having a hard time of doing so). A lot of 13th's posts seemed to be laden with either irrelevant speculations or incredibly minimal points made that I can't quite get a read on. Are we voting Blitz for antagonizing Nightmare for no reason, or do I have to read back again?
