I do, however, and there is a very clear distinction between who's good and who's evil on Shining Force II. It would be incredibly stupid for Elieson to make one of the good guys a Mafia member. Kiwi would definitely be aligned with the Shining Force. I don't blame you for suspecting BBM but he's cleared in my eyes. Likewise, there's a very clear distinction between the good and evil people in the mafia games I write, which is why Serah Farron was a villain in my game (put sarcasm tags here). We don't know what Elieson had in mind when he wrote the flavor for this game; for all I know, he threw canon out the window. I don't take "BBM can't be the announcer" as a good reason to lynch BBM. On the same token, I think "BBM's character is good, so he must be town" is a bad reason to believe he's town. Discussion's great and all, but horrible logic doesn't help anyone (and there is far too much of it in this game). Bizz, when I say "I'll address this in postgame", that means you're not getting an explanation until postgame ('cause I'm pretty sure Elieson doesn't want me crapping up his thread once I'm dead). I trust you know what I mean. Okay. Rant over. I don't know what to think of Lucina, I think it's scummy that she claimed and went AWOL without doing anything else but what can we really do? Have her shoot someone scummy. Or hostile. I agree that most of Proto's contribution has been role and flavour spec, but I can't see why he as mafia would want to clear a townie on that. Maybe if I was about to get lynched, he might do it for townie points, but at that point the lynch was moving away from me anyways. What Proto is doing is dumb, and he needs to start contributing in a better way, but I can't see scum intent in what he's doing right now. I'll list the various scum intents off the top of my head (this list assumes that Proto is scum): 1. By "clearing" you based on flavor, he'll be able to go "See, I told you so!" if you flip town. 2. Posting in such a manner doesn't associate him with anyone's views; rather, it's based on flavor, so if he dies, he won't give any associative reads out. 3. He'll have a presence in the thread, so people can't accuse him of lurking. 4. It distracts the rest of the game from reading content from people. I wouldn't mind lynching Proto later, if he continues to dwell in Flavorland. Right now, I'd much rather lynch Mancer because of that role PM nonsense. It's been enough of a challenge just getting those above observations out and some of them (like Snike's) conflict with claimed roles and such. Kind of want Lucina out now tbh. Sho is being perpetually useless and I wouldn't mind him being removed from the "alive" list either I guess. Gut on BBM too but I don't have much of a case beyond that. Same with Leder Ugh my vote is going to waste and I don't have much to do about it. this post seemed completely like useless bickering and hypocrisy considering Neko had been worthless himself at that point. that was pretty much my read at the time, until Mancer pulled that shit also, we should really move and decide a kill target (unitedly) for Lucina (or make her idle, but I would prefer a kill) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
