I'm beginning to think that there might be a delayed kill ability, like the Proto role from SFMM2. I'm finding it hard to believe that our protective roles have had this much success. NekoRex Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Actually an Arsonist sounds pretty plausable, but there's no proof it exists (and nothing we can do about it until it was killed). Anyway I'm starting to get worried about what's going on in the background myself, since I've still doctoring without a hitch this whole time. I guess I could really use some checkup on me to make sure I'm not getting Framed or something weird like that. Marth said he was going to scan me the last day phase though, and he's still alive, so hopefully he can at least prove I'm working to keep other people alive. Bluedoom Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 A few things. I didn't scan Neko last night cuz I thought Bal's claim ofbeing hooked and the CPR claim n general was more suspcious. Truth is Bal is vanilla as well now. Second I ran out of online time so I couldn't clarify with Eli if I could scan 2 targets again. Regardless I'm going to attempt it this time. Third, I got two messages. First message says there's a role booster(Role: Role booster). Second message says there's a player who is Leader+ 2nd role. ( It goes as: " Role: 2nd Role/Role: Leader") Thing is I've scanned someone who has the ' 2nd role' , and that person wasn't Shinori. Dunno what that means. Refering to BBM's thought there might be a delayed killer.Seeing as we've only had one kill per night I can only assume factional kills are nonconsecutive, but if there's an ITP in the mix an Arsonist would be the only killing option. One that hasn't revealed itself with an Ignite. but I digress as to the rolespec. I'm still wondering how the hell this game has managed to continue so smoothly. Then at some point, instead of a priming an additional target, they can choose to kill all targets that have already been primed. Basically what Strawman became after Prims died in SFMM2, without the part where he also hooked the people he primed. It's normally an ITP role but I guess it could be a mafia role too? Also, I've never actually seen a Motivator that allows their target to act twice for the rest of the game. That would be pretty broken. In fact, a lot of Motivators even have a drawback- something like not being able to use your action at all the night after you use it twice. I'd also nominate a Marth scan, actually. If Sho is getting the alignments of Marth's role scans and Marth is getting the roles of Sho's alignment scans, this would be really really powerful. Plus, town having both an Alignment Cop and a Rolecop when the numbers are already sort of in town's favour, IMO, doesn't sit right with me. Xinnidy Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 One of you targetted somebody of the 'Other Guys' allignment, chances are it was Marth, considering his target wasn't revealed as the role booster but something messy and he got the anonymous "Role: Role booster" message as well. Reading through Marth's post, I have two hypothesis: Was the person you scanned that had the '2nd role' SB? That'd match up with Sho's targets today. Did you really target Balc today? Then chances are he's an Other Guy. There also seems to be another targetting role that will tell you guys something about whom they targetted. If that's true, then they probably found the Role Booster that's been letting you two act twice.
