BBM Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Well I was going over some of the Proto votes and I think Objection is the worst? He says nothing about Proto prior to voting him in 373 except for in 249, where he just says he's unhappy about Proto's lack of scumreads (but also follows it up with a comment on how he's not one to judge, which sort of weakens it). His reason for voting Proto in 373 is that he doesn't like any of the other wagons (Elie, Boron, SB). Except he's said literally nothing directly about any of those three. And at the time of his vote, the votals were very close and Elie was even leading, I think. So his vote was pretty important and the lack of effort devoted to it is off-putting. There were also like 4 hours left in the phase at the time, so it's not like it was super critical he vote right away either. The only real read he ever gives is on Bearclaw in 249, and at the end of it he has this: "Also, if I'm misrepping something, it's not because I mean it, It's because I don't get it / have a wrong understanding of it. Feel free to point it out." It gives me the feeling he's like asking for someone to give him an excuse not to vote Bearclaw, which is suspicious to me because I feel that if a townie was struggling for scumreads and only had one, they'd push it a lot. He didn't state in his last post when he vote swapped? He didn't even comment on me. It really seems to feel like he was purposefully just parked on me or something, but I thought he actually had a scum read on me. Also why is there like 5 pages gdi. Oh hey proto is here actually as I post that. Proto why did you unvote me? For some reason I thought you had posted more than you had Proto, but there is only like 3-4 posts between your vote on me and the vote swap. So I guess never mind on that. Then he votes for Proto after that post to consolidate (this wasn't required but he says he was tired and forgot that so w/e) I know I mentioned this earlier but I felt his vote park on me lasted a bit long as well. That's after the vote. Anyways, he first comments that he thought Proto was kind of parking on him, and then asks Proto to clarify right after. Proto posts, though he doesn't really answer. However, in Shinori's next post he takes that back because he says he realized that Proto only had a few posts between his Shinori RVS vote and unvoting Shinori later. But then in his post-vote justification he brings it back up which is kind of ??? Also even if consolidation was required, there were still several hours before phase end and Paperblade at least could probably have been persuaded to vote Boron, so it's not like there was no chance of getting her lynched. Other things that have bugged me about Shinori: he voted Strege in 153, citing vibes, but never backed those up, either in that post or later, and in his next post just unvoted Strege to vote Boron.
