Recently, the Gun Mettle update introduced a LOT of gameplay changes to many of the weapons in the game!
Examples:
-base Construction rate via melee hit among engineers increased
-Gunslinger mini-sentry starts at 50 health upon initial deployment that increases to 100 health during construction; mini sentry can be repaired
-several of Heavy's primaries offer damage resistance when spun up
-Powerjack's health gain upon kill reduced to +25 instead of +75
-Engineer's movement penalty from carrying a building is reduced to -10%
-Baby Face's Blaster loses more boost from performing a midair jump and also loses boost if user takes damage
-Solemn Vow now has an attack speed penalty
-If a Spy is cloaked, he gets 20% damage resistance
-Air Strike's clip size penalty is removed
-Quickiebomb Launcher's damage can be increased depending on how long the user charges up a shot
-Cloak/Ubercharge drain from Pomson 6000 shots depends on distance -- the longer the distance is, the lower the drain is; very far away hits cannot drain at all
-Jag has the construction speed boost upon melee hit fixed and also has increased attack speed; comes with lower repair rate and keeps the damage penalty
-Wrangler's shield now also reduces repair rate from both wrench hits and Rescue Ranger shots.
-Every player reloads their weapons by default
-Spy's reloading animation (for his revolvers) no longer covers much of the screen
-Loch 'n Load's damage bonus only applies to enemy buildings

Dude were just having fun Jesus, this is why shipping pisses me off alot of the time.
Far from the Forest is a thing.

Great for support log grinding and blitzing the game. I plan to play the Conquest and Birthright routes in Normal Phoenix and then play the neutral route on high difficulties with Classic mode.
-
And the main heroine who was originally a princess on the enemy's side, is the (canon...?) love interest of the main character, and dies after saving the world.
Coincidence? I think not...
[spoiler=Random st00f here]
This is Fire Emblem Fates so no pairing is canon, similar to Fire Emblem Awakening (with the possible exception of ChromxSumia). You can play as a female Avatar who can't S-rank Azura no matter how hard the player tries. Not every male Avatar marries Azura unless they don't care about being screwed out of one child character.
Also, Azura dies only in the Birthright and Conquest endings. She lives in the neutral route.
It is also revealed that the only wincest S-support pairing in the game is between male Avatar and Azura due to them being revealed to be cousins in the neutral route. All you need to do is to be willing to sacrifice one of the children characters for it to happen and not everybody is into incest.
-
I like both of them but I'm more likely going to S-rank Flora than I would with Felicia because I want to recruit all children characters and marrying Felicia would screw me out of one kid whereas Flora is a Kamuisexual character.

In regards to adding more Fire Emblem characters in Smash, I'm honestly more inclined to vote for Lyn (female character, GBA rep, first protagonist of first FE game released to the west, moveset lends itself to playstyles different from Marth or Ike, can use a bow) or Anna (female character, can be considered a mascot of FE for appearing in almost every FE title, is known for using swords (Awakening), bows (Fates) and staves and running the DLC gate -- Outrealm Gate for approach/recovery move (Awakening and Fates)).
I don't mind if Kamui or Azura do get in and help boost FE Fates' popularity (not that it needs it) but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah, I'm basically forced to sit out and wait until I'm back at college so I can order something that would be addressed to my apartment instead of home.
-
Forced to miss out on Palutena amiibo release on Amazon as I was at work. Plus, I can't exactly order anything online as my parents hate anything addressed to me that doesn't have anything to do with college/studying.
-
OK, Palutena's an Amazon exclusive... I just hope that she doesn't get sold out quickly once the release date comes.

It has been reported that the second shipment of the Special Edition pack is to be the LAST one from Nintendo in Japan.
No news so far on the Special Edition pack coming to America though I do wish it would come.
-
My first exposure to Nintendo was when Pokemon was brand new in America -- I would see kindergartners at the day care play on their Game Boys or carry around their Pokemon TCG cards; those were the days...
I will be 20 this year so yeah, I was really young at the time.
-
I wished that the news was a joke... unfortunately, it wasn't. May he rest in peace and be remembered by many people, especially gamers, all over the world.

[spoiler=Typo?]
Kamui chooses to side with Ryouma. Marx commends them, but Kamui says they are not siding with Marx either. They say they cannot choose between them as they do not want to betray either side of the family. They plead the two to put their weapons down and find a solution together. Marx says he will talk some sense into Kamui, but Ryouma moves to protect them. A battle begins with Kamui overlooking the siblings fight. Aqua remains with them, as their servant (Joker/Felicia) rushes to join their side.Did you mean to say that Kamui chooses not to side with Ryouma?

Oh boy... all of the Mewtwo fans planning on getting their Master Balls ready... figuratively.

Gotta love that Lyn and Tiki are on there. And Finn's sort of the odd-one-out on the top 10 list but good for him!
-
I'm talking one who would not object to looting. One who backs conquest to imoose a new order. One who has no regard for enemy civilians. One who treats his subordinates at large as their positions in the social contract. And so on.
Thieves exist. Conquest is sort of done on the Nohr path. You can do that by attacking non-combative units like the clerics in FE3/12 or the villager in Severa's paralogue in FE13. You can sort of do that by favoring certain units over others.
-
For my main runs (non-support-grind), I might pick Anna as she is male!Avatarsexual and that she has been estimated to have the highest overall growth rate out of any unit in the game for any route if the Aptitude skill (which is on Mozume) is not accounted for.
I might also pick Matoi (Hoshido/Neutral) as she's basically Cordelia 2.0 and that as a child character, her stat mods can potentially make Kanna powerful.

I know that this is slightley off-topic but any word as to when the 3DS amiibo reader will be released stateside?
The NFC adapter for the old 3DS systems is going to be released in America this fall. It's to coincide with the release of Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer -- the physical copies come with the adapter bundled though I'm sure the adapter can be bought separately.
-
Yeah, and people have 1-starred several amiibo figures on the English version of Amazon simply because those amiibo figures in question were being scalped.

Owain keeps his Mark of the Exalt hidden -- it should be on one of his arms. There is also no artwork from Awakening that shows his Mark at all either.
-
I don't blame you for wanting it, but it can cut into the replayability of the games.
-
Wow, this is beautiful. A shame if isn't accessible in the Nohr route (?). Thanks for sharing.
It's probably seen in the Nohr route only for the sake of storytelling.

[spoiler=About Crimson...]
Crimson seems to canonically die in the third path -- one of the chapter summaries states that she died.
Black Knight in Smash! As a mii costume...
in Super Smash Bros.

Next thing we all know, Sakurai is going to release 50+ new characters...
... which are all of the current playable characters in chibi form.
... Just something that came in my head since Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson pulled that stunt with one of its DLC packs.
Just had the tallest possible Mii wear the Black Knight costume. Even with the helm on, he's still shorter when compared to Robin.
