  1. I'm going to stop playing people in Thursday night games. That's a good philosophy right?
  2. Standings EAST TEAM W L T PCT GB Detroit Silver Crush 2 0 0 1 -- Green Bay Chaos 0 2 0 0 2 San Deigo Schizoids 0 2 0 0 2 WEST TEAM W L T PCT GB Greater Houston Garden Gnomes 2 0 0 1.000 -- New York Let's Do It 1 1 0 .500 1 The Fearections 1 1 0 .500 1
  3. Not the Packers defense, if you count that as a "player". They scored 21. Otherwise, yeah, Crosby's 14 points was the best in the game.
  4. It sounds like a virus or something like that. It's redirecting you to other sites. Run a virus scan of some sort.
  5. 4 points from Finley + Cobb tonight. This is terrible.
  6. I think this is something we already account for while ranking units, but isn't really defined. Utility is the major factor in determining ranks. The more a unit has the higher ranked it is. However there are also things determine how much a unit's utility actually matters. For example, FE10 Edward doesn't get full credit for his utility in 1-P because you practically have to use him. Requiring a spot or being free would seem to fall into this category as well. I feel that this is a percentage change to the utility already obtained, not adding or subtracting some other utility to it. Again, I feel this is something that already happens but just needs defining. It comes from a discussion with smash that neutral utility is not equal to mid tier. Thoughts?
  7. Yeah I got eight points from my WR total. Terrible week for fantasy as far as WRs go.
  8. I don't really care how many resources a unit uses in and of itself. What I care about is what other use I could get out of that resource if I didn't give it to whatever unit I gave it to. Beyond that, measuring turns saved is difficult for any given unit. Units, except for those at the very top, tend to be working with other units at any give time and so how much that particular unit saves is difficult to determine.
  9. And a level lead, in all likely hood. Comparing stats of units at the same level is rarely useful.
  10. I'm also disappointed by Cruz, but that's generally because he only got me 5 points. Dislike losing 14-5 right now, as well.
  11. Yes? Don't have the expansions though. Cause I'm lazy.
  12. So it's happening. And we're posting stuff. Here's how the draft went down by team. 13. I don't know? I guess the problem for me here is I kinda sucked at GW1 and probably won't be better in GW2. I can tell you that skills fall into three categories: weapon, healing, and utility. Every weapon type has it's own skills for every class (or every class that can use the weapon type). Healing skills are for healing - every class has one, so there's no dedicated healer class. Utility skills are every other skill of your class (and race) that you buy with skill points. From your character screen too, so you don't need to hunt them down. You start getting skill points at level 5, I think, and can also completed challenges throughout the map for more. I'm sure some builds will be seen as better than others, but that's probably only going to be really important in PvP and dungeons (which I haven't gotten to yet). Finally, level cap is 80. I have no clue what you're talking about, so I'd assume the answer is no.
  14. It's fun. You'll get various reports of whether the system encourages or discourages playing together. On the one hand, you can pretty much solo whatever you want in PvE even though henchmen no longer exist. So you never need to party. In particular, your personal story should never require extra help (though extra help will always make it easier). On the other hand, Dynamic Events (DEs), which are essentially quests that start whether you're ready or not, encourage everyone in an area to work together whether or not they're in a party. Some DEs end up with a fight against a giant boss (scaled to the number of players around!). Epic battle ensues, which is generally pretty fun. DEs are a large part of getting money and XP outside of your personal story. Exploring the map is also fun and will net you money and XP. I personally like the underwater passages.
  15. That's understandable, really. Playing around with the character creation in general is understandable.
  16. So I own Guild Wars 2. Or rather, I've owned Guild Wars 2 for months and it's finally out so I can play it now (technically 3 days ago, but whatever). I'm having fun with my Norn Guardian. I think I've settled on Greatsword for now. Anyone else playing?
  17. Technically, the first half of what most schools call BC Calc is just AB Calc. Your school is basically just separating them. Also, calc isn't that hard so long as you understand algebra. (If you really want, you can send me questions. I did major in math. :P) For AP classes in general, take good notes. And by good notes I mean, add in all that stuff your teacher is going to say that isn't necessarily on the outline/slides/chalkboard. Okay, not all that stuff your teacher is going to say. Pick out the important points and be sure to add them in your notes. You're not going to remember everything in the class, but having your oddball notes will help you remember the important things. For the exams down the line, multiple choice is multiple choice. If I recall, you're usually penalized for answering incorrectly but not for skipping the question. -.25 points for a wrong answer, I think. What that means is, if you have no idea, don't answer. But if you can get it down to 50/50, take a guess. Following that, you can usually get a question down to 2 choices by eliminating the ridiculous choices. (Knowing the answer is obviously better.) The essays or whatever they're called obviously require you to actually know something. If there happens to be a question you don't know the answer to (because your teacher is never going to be able to cover all the possible material), don't worry. If there are some terms you know that are related, define them! You'll get points for at least knowing something! Beyond that, answer the questions precisely. You generally don't have a lot of time and no one wants to read pointless drabbel that doesn't have anything to the question in your answer. It doesn't hurt your score directly to have the unimportant stuff, but the grader is more likely to miss things you should get points for when it's there.
  18. So we're still missing two people. Also, it looks like we can add more people so long as the draft hasn't happened if anyone wants to join.
  19. What? If you're just trying to beat it there are a ton of units that will perform fine, resources or no. If you're trying to do it in any sort of speedy fashion there are very few units that perform well without extra help.
  20. Where was this league made, by the by?
  21. Wait, they're bringing Tsuki off the ban list. I might need to start playing this game again. And rebuild my mill deck. With Tsuki.
  22. The problems arise in Edward's poor durability and offense when playing quickly. It's perfectly feasible to use Edward in HM, either because of luck or not playing at a blistering pace.
  23. Similarly, Qi is your best friend.
