  1. If the Fates version wins this, I'm leaving forever. I'm kidding. or am I? Nah, really. I'm only joking.
  2. Hello, everyone. Christmas was... certainly uneventful, wasn't it? Yeah... Nothing at all happened. Basically days like any other. I actually didn't mind that too much. Played some more Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, trying to gain some Strategist-related Way of Life things and this happened: Diplomacy! xD The weird thing is, being evil as hell makes most of the RNG related stuff you need to get past to get the Strategist titles one hell of a lot easier (you get one option in negotiations that guarantees a 100% chance if you're all the way evil). And yes, this character is Sima Shi, but female. This was the result of me meme'ing and doing a playthrough where Sima Shi got married to Wang Yuanji.
  3. Merry Christmas! Merry Nepmas! Merry Teeheemas! I got all my bases covered. xD Seriously, though: happy holidays, everyone! ^^
  4. Bongos Advocate Non-Negotiated Editing Dangers.
  5. I wonder what other Fire Emblem character(s) I could try to make... Swordies are a bit tough, because the Rapier movesets are very geared to specific personality types that match none of the lords, and the other swords don't match the ones found in FE at all. Unless y'all want Ike shooting icicles (Ike-cicles?)
  6. Bananas And Ninjas Nicked Existent Diapers.
  7. Will be wished Merry Christmas from me, as well. For whatever that might be worth
  8. FE Warriors guest starring Lancer and Jeanne from Fate as well as Nepu, Noire, Rom, and Ram as they appeared in 4GO xD (because their regular appearances are nigh impossible to replicate even semi-accurately. Noire does work somewhat, at least her Re;Birth 3 look, but the others? Yikes) No problem at all! ^^ I blame Dong Zhuo for being an evil dastard, and the primary color for his faction being purple. Awesome! I tried my hand at some characters from Fate/Stay Night, and he was one of the few I could make at least somewhat accurately to his appearance there: ... Yeah, not the best thing in the world, but hey. xD

  10. Thinks Benice can get the Black Knight killed in Radiant Dawn.
  11. Merry Christmas... Eve, everyone! I... didn't sleep a wink last night. A cold struck me with full force (and I know it's a cold, because I haven't been out in like two weeks), and, well, it's kinda ruined any prospect I had of sleeping well. BUT! It has allowed me to go on a creative spree and do this: @The Roger The Paladin Here's Jagen! I based the coloration of his armor off of his FE1 artwork, since the purple option in this game is too dark, and there aren't any pictures of his Shadow Dragon appearance aside from his portrait, so it was all I had to go on for his leg armor. I know it doesn't match 100%, but I tried making it look as close to the OG as possible. Also, it's nice to hear that you're feeling better, @Father Shrimpas!
  12. I've looked into the Warhammer series before. Not my thing, to be honest.
  13. Nice, nice! ^^ --- Speaking of Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, there are multiple scenarios based on famous battles throughout the Three Kingdoms period, such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion or the battle of Hulao Gate... And then there's the Gathering of Heroes scenario that is just completely randomized... meaning you could end up with, I dunno, Guan Yinping ruling a nation with Dong Zhuo as her Strategist or something wacky like that. Although if you have created character appearances enabled for the regular scenarios, there is a lot of weird stuff that can happen there, too. In an old save, where I had lots and lots of created characters, Neptune (yes, that one), ended up being Marshal of Wei. Guess Cao Cao liked the resident fourth wall breaker. xD
  14. It's called Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires. It's on PS4 and PC, iirc. A Switch version exists, too, but that one is Japan exclusive, as far as I'm aware.
  15. It wouldn't be as bad if some of the more elusive Ways of Life weren't dependent on RNG-related things, in particular the Strategist-related ones are quite the hassle to get. Of course! ^^ There is an interesting system in play here: Troops act as something of an "extra life". If you get defeated in a battle, you come back at the cost of troop strength. Every 1,000 troops gives you an extra life, basically. And Leadership deremines how many troops a character can have with them (multiplied by 100, so if you have 275 Leadership, you can bring a maximum 2,750 soldiers with you, which equals two retries). The thing about the Empires games is that they don't really have a story to speak of, except one you make up on your own, perhaps. It's basically a sandbox that plops you into the Three Kingdoms era of China (the setting Dynasty Warriors takes place in), and says "here's your map, here are your kingdoms, now go ham!". It's part-musou, part strategy game, where your goal is to lead a nation and eventually unify the land under your rule. And you're free to play as anyone you want, whether it's a character already in the game or a character of your own creation. I just wanted y'all to have a good day! I'm still here! xD I don't need no Emperor. Oh! Neat! Thank you! Hmm, that does make me reconsider. Will probably have to look into what this bonus entails. Yup!
  16. I refuse to be an early adopter for consoles. I'll wait until the price drops and there are a lot more games on the system, or if my PS4 breaks for any reason. Whichever happens first. I looked at the release calendar for Playstation 4 on GameFAQs and Atelier Ryza 2 was nowhere to be found on there. Now, they might be completely wrong, but... I may get the Switch version anyway. I need to expand my library anyhow!
  17. XD Admittedly, it didn't take me too long to make these. The character creation tool is pretty easy to use. As for the way of life thing, this is a new save (my old one got... Thanos'd at some point), so I don't have any of the other ones you could give to your created characters. Ordinary Man is the one every created character starts out with by default, but if you have unlocked other ones through gameplay, you could give those to your characters and they will have them when they appear in the game. It should theoretically be possible to make a Jagen lookalike, at the very least. I could try that, now that I think about it.
