It might be my warped views on DLC and money, but I don't think CS is worth 25 dollars. For much less than that, I got Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Nioh DLCs, and boy, those were biiiiiig. But I wanted to talk about our boy Alpharad, or Aelfric for us lowly non japanese. I know right ? It's such a stupid waste !

That make me thinks, each lords gain some sort of realization that lead them to developement, even Claude, even if his is shitty. Except for Rhea, who just have one after everything behind a S support, which is kinda bad imo. My question is, what kind of realization could lead Rhea toward character development, have that would make sense ? I thought about a more sentient, not final boss Nemesis that could say some uncomfortable truths, him and Rhea really did not have much of a talk after all, and Nemi... doesn't talk that much. 😛 That would another layer of "it's that...", "but in another route, the truth is...". ...can you tell that I don't like what they did with Nemi ? 😛 I mean, one could argue that SS is just about Byleth, but shhh. I thought it was because they were really short on those, but.. it's hard to tell how many they launched on Fort Merceus, and in CF there's only one explosion that is heard... Lauching them apparently make it super-easy to spot their base, which is weird, but I suppose that's what those purple rings are for. Yup. Only the best of Almyrans are shown in game eh ? 😛

I feel like a wonderful idiot for forgetting that,oh yeah in other routes Felix is indeed like that. The irony is almost omnipresent. You know, I'm really happy to see that other people think that Dimitri, BL and Fearghus feel... wrong sometimes. A lot of times. Another It also kinda sorta weird me out that CF Felix is supposed to be bad and feel bad when everything he thought about his country is proven correct. Obviously he should feel bad -it's his old friends and his dad after all- but beyond that ? I don't think he is a boar at all. First, amen to that, secondly, you forgot the part where AM Dimitri is welcomed back with utter adoration from his country to the point of rebelling apparently, despite Dimitri having done less than christian things, despite not caring about them. (I'm not confounding with VW or SS do I ? It's hard keep track at times) And okay, in AM it's hearthwarming because Dimitri started to get a grip, but think a little, and that's less fuzzy. I see the beauty of GD about overcoming prejudices and stuffs, but I feel it to be wasted on them imo. Maybe the point is precisely that it's the only things we know about them, buuuuuuut... I also dislike how the peoples of Begnion are not hold accountable for their actions as they are perhaps more to blame than the Dubstep-men. there a joke here can you see it ? One thing I dislike about GD, it's stupidly shounen at times, like, really stupid at times. There's also the fact that the Almyrans are stupidly put in the game. "lolilol we love war we do it for fun", what the hell... I also kind of love/hate Claude. But we have god shattering dance battle so it's half-forgiven.

Kind of annoyed about Valkyrie being genderlocked, I can understand Dark Flier, pegasi are female only here, another can of worm, but still, no gremory-like classes for men. 😞 Oh and, friendship with War Monk's design has already ended, Enlightened One's was better. Sorry but nope, like really nope. I made my case multiple times, it would kill the concept of choices, the "you stick for it" part, and undermind all the other routes. Yes, because it worked soooooo well in Radiant Dawn and Revelation. Totally not ass pull 😛 It's even harder than that. 3 out of 4 of them have deep psychological issues, they're also to an extent, self-righteous jerkasses. To convince Dimitri to stop being crazy, a father figure had to die, and Cornelia had to conveniently say that no, a six year old Edelgard isn't actually responsible for all the woes in the world. Rhea would need to stop being a pathological liar, which she stop being in one route, that kill everything that look at her church funny.

Byleth doesn't have a shitty personality or dialogues like those three morons, but he has enough to be interesting and without taking over everything, it's not perfect but it's there. ...It also help that the story is flat out better, again, not that it's hard. Mind you, it might be because the previous My Unit, their game and story just destroyed my brain cells. 😛 I don't understand where this come from. Alm doesn't really get worshiped all that much, 😕 He's fairly normal. I mean he does have three persons pining for him and the commoner/noble angle wasn't perfect, but it's still miles away from before.

I see your point but... Side story or not, still the same game that encourage what I said above. It's a side story that actually give something important, characters. Imagine having gotten a character to max all, only to be robbed.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not a fan of "predetermined team", especially in a game where customization, managing, min maxing and all that good stuff is the blood of said game. "Hell yeah I finally optimized my classes layout, learned and equipped the best skills and weapons. It took so much time of my life but it paid off" And dlcs be like "I'm going to end this man's whole time 😄". Well I expect it to be able to use NG+ so...

I kind of agree with Alastor, it's baffling how divine pulse get stopped because "Muh faaaaate" and "Some death cannot just be stopped". I swear, it's like hearing "No one can just deflect the Emerald Splash". This is pure bullshit, the only reason it doesn't work is because the plot says so. I'd guess Byleth must be high on the podium, not green, pretty famed, legit skilled/talented in multiple skills (except magic, what's up with that bad spelllist ?), the greatest weapon since Sword of Seals and Ragnell, time power, he also may or may not be immortal. Good point, I always wondered about that.

To be honest this trailer doesn't hype me much. Especially compared to the recent Smash trailer. Also ow the edge, a secret house, in the underground called "The Abyss" that no one knew, wants and etc. I expected The Abyss to be better than an excuse for chunni edgy the dlc characters, 'might be wrong though, but boy, they really look and sound chunni. Dat new gauntlet and Dark Flier tho ! For goodnesses sake, make it so that if it is a new, which I doubt, that it isn't a golden path.
