My defense team of Laslow, Summer Corrin, Brave Ike, and Sharena is having no problems getting defense wins. It's a pretty easy team to beat, too. Goes to show how random defense wins can be... I wonder if some people get matched up less, for some reason. (Or just bad luck, I guess.) Or maybe it also depends on how many players are in the score range, and how likely they are to rage quit when they lose a unit?

Hahaha, oh wow. Smart phones didn't exist when I was in high school, but if they did & I saw that on a teacher's screen, I would honestly have trouble taking her seriously after that. Like... Really? C'mon, what a trashy thing to put on your home screen! Pretty funny situation, though. --- Oh my god, that is not an acceptable thing for a teacher to say.

Ah, I think that's why Nino was giving you less points. Also, Rein has a special tome (Dire Thunder) and it sounds like he has 2 skills equipped instead of Nino's 1. If you fill up all of your skill slots, you will get a higher score.

Just to clarify, are you saying your Nino has no A or B skill equipped at all? I think leaving those empty will decrease your score by a decent amount.

This one wasn't too bad. I liked it. Lots of reinforcements! The team I chose initially worked out just fine. I beat Infernal on my 2nd try. Yay! It usually takes me a stamina potion, ehehe. I used Olivia, Brave Ike, Rein, and Bridelia.

Finished both. I had a tough time as usual (lots of surrenders for those dirty horse emblem + dancer teams ). It was a bit better than last week, though. These maps aren't as bad as the previous set. If I'm having trouble and getting frustrated again next week, maybe I'll lay off the awful 5-cooldown skills & take the slight score drop. It might be helpful to actually have some specials go off for once. I've been running into a crapton of people with this exact team, and I don't like it very much: Brave Lyn, Reinhardt, Azura, and Performing Azura. In fact, there's been a lot of double dancer teams lately... I only ran into 1 Sigurd, and Laslow destroyed him, so that was fine. Anyway, I beat my old high score again. Soooo close to 5000! Arena: 4996 Arena Assault: 4974 My team: Laslow +5, Rein +5, Brave Ike +3, and Olivia +2.

I would not be happy about it, that's for sure. I don't care that my current knowledge would help my past self make better decisions. Yikes, I would be 18 again... Becoming a teenager again sounds like a nightmare. I'd have to be in school again... And living with my parents... Looking back, I don't think I was truly happy with my life until I moved out on my own (well, with my SO).

Hot damn, Laz is finally a bonus unit. My +5 Laslow is ready.

I just posted under an hour ago, but after completing the new story chapters, I got back up to 20 orbs again. I had no colourless orbs in this session, yay. Total orbs spent on this banner is now 75: 4* Draug 3* Arthur 4* Shanna 5* Sigurd (+Atk/-HP) 3* Florina Got a focus character in just over 70 orbs. Not too shabby. I'll go only for green and blue from here on. I could always use more decent mages.

Okay, I had enough orbs for 3 full summons. 55 orbs spent: 4* Tharja 4* Selena 4* Shanna 4* Boey 4* Henry 3* Sully 4* Gunter 3* Niles 4* Female Corrin 3* Bartre 3* Sophia 4* Lon'qu 4* Stahl 3* Bartre 5* Innes Seriously, that's my fourth Innes (third off banner). Why won't this guy leave me alone? Haha. Nothing great, unfortunately, but I didn't have my hopes up for a measly 55 orbs. Hopefully I can get something good from this banner before it ends. I won't be spending any money this month. I have 8 orbs left, so maybe I can scrape up enough for another pull tonight with all the new story chapters and quests. I think I'll avoid colourless from now on though, even thought I need more Bowbreaker food. I would like to get at least one focus character.

Best Story: Awakening. I'm a sucker for anything to do with time travel. Best Gameplay: Conquest (Fates). So much fun. Worst Story: Conquest (Fates). I don't think I need to explain this one. Worst Gameplay: Shadows of Valentia. A lot of the maps drove me crazy because the enemies were so damn far away. I missed the weapon triangle as well.

I guess so. I just really liked it because it meant I could go all out any time a multiplier came up & not have to worry about bigger ones happening later. Also, your Eliwood was awesome, by the way! I got him pretty frequently. In the final round, my game changed who it wanted to fixate on, haha. I mainly got the Soren and Hector of some people who aren't on SF (at least I don't think they are), your Eliwood, and @Astellius's Tiki. They were all great. Thumbs up!

Haha! That picture really sums up the arena right now. It doesn't really phase me to see a Brave Lyn rep or Rein rep. I just expect them to be in all my fights anyway.

Ahah, yeah. I'm hoping they eventually get rid of the voting thing and make a new mode where you can use your friends' units.

I like how people on this forum are so eager to help each other out. There's so much bitterness that goes around during this event, so it's really nice to see all this positivity. --- I think it refreshes once you do a battle of some sort, like the training tower.

So far I have... Upgraded: Attack +3 and Distant Defense 3. Created: Deflect Magic 1. 33 coins left now. Next, I think I'll raise Deflect Magic to the highest level. Edit: @Zeo Whoa, twinsies!

It's amusing looking at the scores right after Team Ninian gets a multiplier.

Man, this thread really makes me want to try FE4. Maybe I will this weekend... I think I'll do full pulls on this banner because I only have 52 orbs at the moment, and I'd be happy to get any of the focus heroes. Plus, I need more Bowbreaker... Also, I noticed a few people saying "red hell" and "green hell" in this thread. Here I thought that colourless was the true hell. The red/green pool has a lot of awesome skill fodder. Fury, Triangle Adept, Reposition, and Renewal, to name a few... Meanwhile, colourless has a lot of healers.

Ahah, ummm, in Eliwood's case... Yes... Those eyes creep me out. I was kind of 'meh' on Laslow's Heroes artwork at first, but I've built him up anyway because it's not the worst and well, he's my absolute favourite FE character. I currently have a +5 Laslow that I'm going to keep adding merges to. Also, I know it's the same artist, but I prefer Inigo's art to Laslow's. Especially the attacking pose. --- More on topic: I've been a good girl with my flags this time. I haven't spent any yet despite the constant F-Corrin multipliers that are tempting me... I expect there will be a steady flow of multipliers tomorrow as well. It's hard to hold back, though!

I agree with @DefaultBeep. The artwork makes a difference. I like Eliwood, but I can't bring myself to build him up in Heroes because his eyes bother the hell out of me. I'm not at all surprised that Ninian is winning. She's gorgeous and a highly sought after unit, so she's appealing even to people who didn't play FE7.
