  1. The designs remind me of the Banner Saga. I like this style.
  2. I have the special edition so I generally tend to bounce around between my files (I'm trying to finish all of the S supports and it gives me an excuse to visit more people), so you'll get a different variety of Avatars from me depending on what I have. My main file I'm working on is a Revelations female Avatar with Shrine Maiden and + Speed. So if you guys are wanting things like "Renewal" or "Countermagic," I'm here for that. I do have males as well so I'm fine with either as well. My Castle Address is: 14364-06516-09323-36400. I think I'll be more active here now since I'm doing supports for now and I eventually want to do a bond unit run.
  3. I'm late to the party, but I thought it was because female Corrin has some great looking hair in comparison to male Corrin. Corrin's hairstyles are lame when you're a male.
  4. Laurent, Lucina and Morgan. Assuming we're just sticking with kids these would be my three. Laurent is by far my favorite of the kids, and even though he's a bit of a coward (he arrived before Lucina and didn't do much), it does put an interesting perspective for how terrifying it would be to move to a new world, and everyone has their shortcomings-- this being a sort of forgivable one. Lucina because her ending actually kind of makes sense with it. She's not my favorite but she definitely could have used some time away from Chrom so she could focus on herself. She wasn't particularly interesting in Awakening because of this IMO. Morgan because (s)he are the easiest ones to make this make sense for how they got over. Heck, you could have made them find out about Hidden Truths and then get amnesia. That's pretty funny. They have/had the knowledge got warped to the wrong world, and then developed amnesia...
  5. Yes. But in most instances, convincing someone something is bad requires them to acknowledge that other things are better than it, so the object in question only becomes worse through comparison.
  6. At this point, I think there needs to be a hack about you making this hack. It'd probably be like... The last Elibean Tale.
  7. # Kaze: He's okay, but he's a bit strange in the regard that he always sticks with Corrin. I guess being saved by Corrin meant a lot to him. #Gunter: Pretty pointless and poorly handled in my opinion. It's nice that he has a support with Jakob I guess, but he still needs to be more fleshed out considering all of his ties. #Azama: Pointless. Rude, and has a philosophy that is basically "be a jackass" for no reason. Unlike people like Rinkah or Jakob, he doesn't even have a background that really gives some sort of understanding for that type of behavior.
  8. Yeah, but I meant more like after you fight him. It's clear he had been dead, but not after any particular moment so it's hard to know if he was alive at say chapter 10.
  9. I feel that would have just been a better form of the possession in general. Either that, or implied that Takumi died after the first encounter and the body was a shallow husk for so long.
  10. I like that things don't end up well for Corrin because of his inexperience. He loses something on both Birthright and Nohr.
  11. No Pokeballs is pretty fun. Where you play through the game with Pokemon that are only given to you via story or special events. Generally speaking, the third generation is easier than the other two because you generally are given more Pokemon. I personally like "no mart" as well. It makes healing items a godsend rather than something that you use to cheese the game.
  12. I find them interesting honestly. Especially more wild ones like Bare Knuckle 3 versus Streets of Rage 3 where the stories are different enough to be worth playing both. Hilariously enough, the edit makes it *more* suggestive rather than less. :D
  13. The base number for the random routine generation. IE, it'll always use those same locked seeds for each growth insuring that each growth is exactly the same. The minute you recruit Corrin for instance, the growths are already predetermined. IE, no matter how much you reset, Corrin will be the same no matter what for each playthrough.
  14. Seth. Seth has no weaknesses. Sigurd at least has spotty res and needs people to help him defeat certain bosses with overpowered swords. Seth starts out strong and ends up... Stronger... Sigurd is just insanely powerful and gets handed a super good weapon at the start of the game. If Sigurd didn't get that Silver Sword, he'd dominate far less. Seth doesn't NEED his Silver weapon to dominate. It's just out and out overkill in the beginning.
  15. Nope. I like Fates overall, and I don't get sick of it. I like to see people butt heads. As long as there is a method to their madness, sometimes I have a tendency to goad them into continued to argue simply so I can see more of their resolve to be understood. Awakenings problems are from a lack of polish IMO. It's clear that the game just has things that weren't well thought out.
  16. Sometimes it doesn't feel like it. NEVER USE LUCK CORRIN... My god. 5 defense for life.
  17. Ah, I see. Although I'd ask if the lack of women wanting to do the major is a problem. I mean maybe they just aren't interested. For colleges, I suppose it depends, our school actually had overseas students all of the time so we were never short of any sort of minority. The biggest problem there was a cultural shock one where sometimes the students wouldn't talk for fear of being put down by their peers I found. Locally my area might not have this problem, but I'll admit that I haven't looked at many other colleges in this regard.
  18. Might just be where you went/are going to school. There were less women at my school, but rude people were rude regardless of your background. Quite a few of my peers were women though. And I think that's some of the issue though. When someone is rude, there's this weird assumption that the person would somehow NOT be rude if you had more in common for appearances, when I don't see anything to support that notion.
  19. I agree there is a difference, but it's not a huge one from on-lookers. I personally see no reason to have a "women's society for engineers," but then there's no "men's society for engineers," the male's version is just "the society for engineers." It's almost like a soft form of segregation versus a hard form of segregation-- ie, one is inadvertently encouraged through naming conventions, while the latter is pushed and enforced. Obviously one is worse than the other, but I was never fond of a club or something that even bothered to encourage people to join based on physiological attributes rather than psychological interests.
  20. I wouldn't care. My father has denied me before when he was angry with my mother. It makes no difference.
  21. You know what's fun? Having people lump all minorities together because of a couple of dunces. Clearly all of humanity is stupid because some of them are not very bright.
  22. I'll get to it when I have time I'll send you a PM.
  23. The wall was only the beginning and is cited several times because it's a prime example of Trump simply not having a good understanding of international politics and him saying things but not even having any clue how it could be accomplished. Illegal immigrants will continue to be a problem so long as corporations find it cheaper to use illegal immigrants for super cheap labor. Not defending Hilary, but Hilary's idiocy doesn't give Trump a free pass either.
  24. I can't listen to this with headphones so I'll have to when I get home because that strange microphone sound. It's pretty painful tbh.
