Hawkeye is very similar to Geitz except there's a couple of nice perks that Geitz has. Namely sole access to the Brave Bow (Geitz has 14 AS with it vs. Louise's 11 thanks to that -6 AS penalty since Louise is the only real contender without promoting an archer) along with much better accuracy from 2 range. Not to mention that he also can hit 3 spaces away with a Longbow. The range game is Geitz's by a mile. Another perk is the fact that Geitz gets better over time thanks to his growths. I'm looking at the 85 HP and 40 Spd vs. Hawkeye's 50 and 25 growth rates. If we extrapolate a bit, we get these results by Cog of Destiny. Geitz is destroying Hawkeye on the offensive end. Yeah, Hawkeye can insta-kill a guy. Great. He still needs that guy to have less than 9 AS by CoD to have a reliable chance of actually landing that needed critical hit with the Killer Axe. With the slowest Axe around, Geitz still has more AS than Hawkeye along with 2 extra Atk (4 after doubling). And now we have some sample AS values from the previous chapter. Sniper w/ Steel Bow - 39 HP, 10 AS, 9 Def - Geitz doubles even with a Steel Axe and downs him in one round. Hawkeye needs to crit to kill. Paladin w/ Silver Lance - 43 HP, 12 AS, 12 Def - Geitz leaves him with 5 HP after doubling from far with a Steel Bow. Hawkeye only does 16 damage. Cavalier w/ Poison Lance - 34 HP, 11 AS, 9 Def - Geitz kills at range, Hawkeye doesn't. Up close, Geitz leaves him with 9 HP (an Iron Axe kills this guy) while Hawkeye leaves 11 HP. Cavalier w/ Poison Sword - 33 HP, 9 AS, 9 Def - Geitz kills, Hawkeye doesn't. Sage w/ Elfire - 35 HP, 10 AS, 10 Def - Geitz kills at all ranges, Hawkeye only kills with a critical. Nomad w/ Poison Bow - 26 HP, 13 AS, 6 Def - Ok, this one hurts. Hawkeye is 1 Atk short of OHKOing this guy while Geitz can one-hit him at range (Brave Bow) or in close (Steel Axe). Pirate w/ Hand Axe - 32 HP, 9 AS, 4 Def - Geitz kills, Hawkeye doesn't. Are you starting to see a pattern here? On the defensive side of the ball, Hawkeye leads but not by much. He's got a 3 HP and 2 Def lead while Geitz basically wins Avo by 5 which amounts to maybe 1 point of HP in the grand scheme of things. Can they be closer? Probably. Will Hawkeye ever sit right below Geitz? No. Geitz has the ENTIRE offensive game wrapped up (pure attacking power, speed and range) while Hawkeye exists for 1.5 extra chapters (doesn't do much in Living Legend but he's great in Genesis) and has a bit of an edge in defense. Hawkeye probably won't even move past Fiora so if you want to move him up, argue him vs. Dorcas and Canas. Yippee. Why do you think these are game changing?

I have an idea. Why doesn't every person playing post their entire role PMs and then we argue about who's lying and who isn't? Couldn't that work? Mine's already up there.

I'm about to die of laughter. I'm so happy that my girlfriend didn't come over today since this is epic. I like how you assume that I'm in contact with the Mafia and will then try to only lynch townies, especially when this is a No Outside Contact game. As for the possible benefit, you've basically said it yourself in the past. I'm one of the most intuitive players around here (if not THE and while that might seem like bragging, a lot of games I've played prove otherwise) and I like to think when I can figure out who's lying through their teeth and who isn't. If everyone's cards are on the table (even if they're face down), I can figure who's bluffing and who's got pocket rockets. Unless you think you're better than me at that job, of course. Aww, poor you. Here's a hint, I don't like my role much either since whether I live or die is based on how well I can install WIFOMs in any killing role in this game. You don't see me bitching about it, though. I'd like a specific example with some sort of proof backing up your statement of Survivors "hindering the town" purposely. Of course I breadcrumbed it. I didn't want to come out into the open and say that I'm unlynchable because I'm STILL hoping that it works like a Hidden Immunity Idol on Survivor (I only have one free pass but if I don't get lynched today, I'm immune for the next lynching and so on). But when you guys kept the votes on me, I was forced to reveal that fact. Sorry. Actually, the way I wrote the Wiseman PM was to emulate Spoon's style so that I wouldn't be questioned on the wording and stuff. Not to mention that I had to specifically pick a villain that Spoon wouldn't have put in his game so I was limited. The ones that you should really be looking at are the ones from my game since Frank Fontaine, Ninetales and Tyler Durden are from 3 very different places. Well, if that's truly what your thoughts are, I've been overrating your brain for a while. Try logic next time, works for me.

Way to not read properly. I'll never put the town before myself. But I'll never put the Mafia before myself EITHER. I just want to live to the end. One of the fastest ways of doing so is just lynching the Mafia one after another. Here's another way to prove that I'm not faking my role PM. Compare it to the 3 role PMs from my game (Screw The Rules Mafia) that I wrote by myself. Writing style is different, huh? Compare it to the Wiseman Role PM from Spoon's Train Mafia game.

*sigh* Why are WIFOMs only listened to when it's against me and not against anyone else? You can easily be Mafia by trying to inconspicuously lead the town. Want to know why that's effective? Here's the thing. I'm unlynchable TODAY. Not in general. But I don't know if Lightning's telling me the truth about being unlynchable. So I'd rather not risk it but if you want to do it, fine. I just think that we should lynch someone who's acting more guilty than usual. If you do lynch me today and I survive, can you idiots then follow behind me and let me make all the decisions on who to lynch?

Day 2: You wake up, once again in your own bed. Grabbing a coffee on your way down to the meeting room, you notice some white powder on the ground beside the elevator door. It's quite strange... but nothing can prepare you for the shock of the sight when the door opens. Raymond is lying on the ground with his skin horribly burnt, making your react in horror. A bottle lies abandoned in the corner of the elevator. You pick it up and turn it over to read the word "LYE" printed on it. That is going to sting. You then go through his pockets and find his wallet with his ID intact. Sucks to be Mr. Fontaine. You then decide to take the stairs down to the meeting. When you get there, you only count 11 other heads including Rip. Mr. Van Winkle then clears his voice. "Who is missing today?" You shout out, saying that Raymond has been horribly murdered. The crowd buzzes and then a woman calls out. "I found JB25 also dead. However, it looked like he was just sleeping. What is going on?" "His mind is lost in limbo." A young man sitting in a chair at the back of room. All heads turn towards him while he continues. "He can't tell the difference from his dream and reality. He is beyond saving. Do you have his ID?" "Yes, I do. But how do you know so much about his death?" The woman enquires. "I tried to revive him by going into his dream. Didn't work." The man gets up and looks at the piece of paper that is now lying on the table. "Well, that's two people." Mr. Van Winkle starts pacing up and down the room. "Who's the third?" "Ninji." Another woman, much younger than the first one, walks back into the central room. "Just found him inside of a broom closet with his skull bashed in and a torch beside him. Also found this on him... Pickwick, NO!" She tells the strange bird accompanying her who has stolen a sheet of paper from her pocket. You make a grab at it and open it up. "And that makes 3 dead." Rip sighs. "Well, time to vote." Day 2 is now underway. If you want to take an item off of a dead body (one may be there or may not), you must forfit your night action to do so unless you have no need to forfit it (the people who don't already know who they are). Just so you know.

Fuck... I didn't want to say this but I now have no choice. I'm unlynchable today, according to Lightning. Remember the shit that Psychout mentioned about me also being unlynchable? Well, Lightning sent me a PM soon after saying that I was unlynchable. So there you go. You waste a mislynch AND don't even get my head in return. So change your votes.

They want to kill me because of some weird notion that me coming out early and wanting to lead the village means that I'm Mafia. And no matter any argument I put forth, it is always met with "well, what if you're lying?". Terrible logic, I know.

Lynching me today is going to hinder you. Trust me when I say this because I really don't want to say the full reason why. You should be scumhunting properly rather than just going after me since I want to lead the village to victory (the Mafia can easily fuck with my brains if they play it right). One mislynch might be unlikely but it's logical and you know that's how I roll. Logic > Intuition.

I never said there were 4 Mafia members. I just assumed that we get one mislynch in most situations. Stop putting words into my mouth.

Finally played a shitload of ToV! The party is now in Nordopolica, waiting to make the jump to Hypionia to storm Egothor Forest. I've also started making dents in the number of items left by only spending money on synthesizing items. Which will get really fun once I get to Tarqaron and unlock the elevators (since I'll have a stupid amount of Gald by then). Aside from that, I just need to steal a couple of items with Repede (most notably the Gauche and Droite Swords) and then I'm done with him.

Night phase is almost over. Also, one more thing. ITEMS EXIST TO BE USED.

I said mostly. But there is something that was mentioned earlier that is bothering me but I'll sit back and watch. Oh and would you mind taking your vote off of me now? Otherwise, it's a wasted vote.

Except you're not me. ;-) See, if you claim something important right now with a full role PM (snip out the rest for a reason), I'd stick a vote onto you and ask everyone else to knock you off since you're either lying or stupid. And both are detrimental to the town. But my claiming doesn't make me detrimental to the town at all because of my win condition and invulnerability at night. Not to mention that I claimed before the day phase even began. However, I'm starting to believe that Core is actually a Mafia member. Mostly because of his absolute desire of trying to get me lynched.

I obviously don't expect the mafia to pop out and yell "Lynch us, not Life!". But the thing is, lynching me is purposely wasting a mislynch. Lynching... you, for example, would be taking an educated guess and possibly getting it right or wrong. Not so with me because you'll always get it wrong.

That's the beauty of it. I'm not town. I'm neutral. Go ahead and lynch me. I really don't care. But if you lynch me, you're wasting your mislynch. All I have to do to win is make it to the end of the game. Targetting me at night to kill means that I'm invincible. Only luck can actually kill me... Oh and I'm immune to being hooked. Just checked with Lightning.
