Okay, I'd like some examples of that. I've never seen it happen before. I never said I didn't like RVS, in fact, I'm not really sure how else you're supposed to start a game with a day start. I just wanted to kick off discussion. Off-topic? This is a major mechanic. I've thought it over, and though coordinating who goes where worked very well for the town in Brawl with its town leaders, that strategy hinged on outside contact. This is a NOC game; perhaps specifically because the mechanic was so easy to exploit in OC. I can't think of a strategy that wouldn't just be handing information to the mafia or otherwise too easy for them to manipulate. Thus I think we should keep stage discussion to a minimum unless we have a very good reason to do otherwise.

since the game starts at a set time anyway I see nothing wrong with role PMs going out a little bit early

uh, honestly, using knowledge of the RN seed probably isn't cheating since actively ignoring what you know is stupid you made it sound like RNG abuse though people should start adding rules to their drafts outlining what you're allowed to do with the RNG, for me it would be anything up to and including using that nifty lua script but burning RNs is way out, that way hit rates and stuff have some actual significance but the game doesn't become a goddamn series of die rolls

and this is why democracy was a bad move edit: might as well, doesn't exist but is basically amazing at everything except his outfit confuses me and I don't know where he got that shirt/jacket/whatever it is considering the time period? shaves like a hobo doesn't while he's around but 1 range and buttfucking reyson for most of the game significantly cuts down on his influence so he's a 5/10 for me
