  1. Roughly speaking, the answer is mostly yes to all. Pretty sure each unit can use it once each. I'm pretty sure they can pair up, get the same bonuses as well. Basically everything is the same. And yes duplicate weapons do appear in the inventory, but my guess is you obviously cannot er..abuse this
  2. I'm more "concerned" about when the 11mt upgrade to Yato happens. In the same vein though, I'm also not sure where you get the upgraded dragonstone. Just found the S Rank Staff by "coincidence". It's in a chest in Nohr 26 Nohr Post Chapter 26 seems to sell an unlimited supply of Seals. Stat boosters are still limited though. Though you probably still can't grind for money so I don't know (or can you?) Yet another update. Yato - Nohr confirmed for Nohr 27 Hai guys, I'm here yet again Anybody know the name of this bow?
  3. 1: From what I've seen so far, the ranges are fixed 2: There are probably a few other, the only one I can confirm is freeze staff. Frozen units can't move for a turn (and apparently lose 20 avoid for the turn as well) 3: Not sure. Nobody has actually used one yet, they're too expensive I believe (aside from the normal heals, pretty much everything else costs about a 1000G per use or so.) Long Range healing appears to be nerfed significantly, not only do they cost 1000G a heal as well, they seem to heal pretty pathetic amounts
  4. Wonder if we'll have "Brave Kunai", sounds silly, but I'm honestly not sure. Otherwise, aside from the healing classes, it seems every class gets at least an A Rank (I.E, Brave Weapon) in something, and as you know, B for everything else. (Except Aqua but she's not promoted so that's that)
  5. Statistically speaking, the game puts less emphasis on "Overwhelming Numbers", in a sense also reflected by the weapons and growth rates (Having a super character tank everything is not nearly as possible, though it depends *cough Effie cough*) Hoshido Route is more simplistic, but not necessarily as easy. Hoshido is still more difficult than Awakening was from what I can tell. Hoshido is more about "brute numbers" so to speak, and the maps are quite straightforward. Because Hoshido is more about dodging attacks than tanking them (not that the avoid formula is being very kind to you, or that generally most weapons have high hit), Hoshido cares more about the weapon triangle Note that the enemy stats rocket up quickly, and the enemy will practically always have more HP than you. (On both routes) Aside from potentially Kamui (and even then his growths are overly balanced so he might not grow fast enough to keep up), there aren't many characters, if any, that can tank AND reliably ORKO enemies. Hoshido has a bunch of glass cannons, Nohr has a number of slow but tanky units. Both sides do have a decent number of balanced units, like Silas who joins in both (has 40% HP/STR/SPD/DEF by default, then you add that cavaliers have balanced class growths as well) The Dragonvein is kind of hard to comment really. Er my comments are a bit messy, but the trait of both games is that, (in my opinion at least), trying to level everyone, which some players did, is practically suicide. You'll basically have to pick about 10-20 units and bench everyone else. I've only seen mostly the Hoshido path, but enemies will reach like, 30str/def generals by endgame Also unlike awakening, enemies will have skills (counter archers in nohr, vantage enemies, poison being quite common), specifically like bosses, but more so on nohr than hoshido Nohr tries to pressurize you by slapping limits, like time limits, low unit count, ganging up on your units, more troublesome Guard Stances (2 50 hp 30str/def generals in guard stance is a pain). The Nohr units aren't terribly fast either, due to the fact that they're mostly units with 40s or so in everything, not that they're overly slow. More specific comments further down
  6. Actually, looking at the max HP, Eternal Seals aside, they look nigh unreachable for a large number of units (Average HP Growth is 40/50% anyway) It's not unusual to have units with more stat than HP
  7. The basic Falchion comes with Marth amiibo at the very least. And it'll completely slaughter Wyvern Riders, because I'm pretty sure it's still effective on them.
  8. http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Emblem_Wikia This one I'm still all sorts of confused though. Also, after finally taking into account the Throne Bonus, I think that Yato - Hoshido halves the effect of Dragonskin (48 ATK vs 26 Def (Normally 22 damage) dealt 17 instead, which is roughly 3/4 of the original. "Roughly" anyway. Guess we have to add the bonuses to Yato then, time to do more edits. Also trying to add the other four weapons wielded by Kamui's Brothers. I don't know the plot, but I'm pretty much 100% certain they have a connection to Yato
  9. So are "we" going to classify all Katanas as swords on the Wiki? Plus the Katana modifiers? (The +/- stat thingy) For Yato/Other Katanas that boost stats, do we still add the All Katanas grant Speed +1, Defence and Resistance -1 E.g. Yato Sky says Strength, Speed +2, so do we just use this, or we add the top bonuses?
  10. Hmm, due to the new "Evade" (Critical Evade, assuming I got it correctly) stat for weapons, we're going to need to have new templates, I don't think I can add the Bolverk to the wiki like this. Plus the fact that, all weapons are unbreakable now, so "Uses" is now not (so) relevant
  11. In the mean time, minor comments is that I'm still waiting for the name of Garon's axe (it's in kana and..it's not exactly straightforward, much like Zephiel's Sword) Interesting other comments. Also I really should have known that "Little Small" (the kanji of sorts) was obviously the Kodachi. The Kodachi (aside from the Umbrella, which is oddly effective despite having 1 mt) seems to be your main throwing sword Anybody have images for the swords though? For the Wiki and all Hagakure seems to be a little debilitating for a sword, I mean, Ryouma's Raijin Katana is almost if not still better than it.
  12. Not sure, isn't the Yatogami classified under a Sword? A Katana? I honestly don't know. In any case, I think there are about 6 variations of the Yatogami, but exactly what is going on I have no idea "Oh I know all right", well I guess. Initial Yatogami, then you have On Hoshido, one after "reacting" with the Wind Gow Bow, one after reacting with the Thunder God Katana On Nohr, I presume it's with Brynhilde and Siegfried The Final one is probably with all 4, for a total of 6 One last thing, er, might be a tiny bit of spoilers, but I think the Yatogami has some "interactions" with Dragonskin (damage isn't precisely halved with the Yatogami)
  13. I don't have it, but from what I've seen, it's nothing special really. Of course, it might depend on the prices, but just buying it for the sake of getting it for the game isn't a good idea I think. You don't really miss out on that much. If you like the characters and/or amiibo itself, then I suppose it's more reason to buy, but otherwise I would not recommend buying them
  14. From what I can tell, er...well the long story short of it is that FE would become laughing stock, from what I feel is the ..general audience. Seeing how people are already opposed to some of the already implemented things, this would probably explode into all sorts of insanity.
  15. For starters, might want to change your thread title since some people might not be too happy about it. Guess I might as well comment since I'm here Either it will be as busted as we think it is, or they're already one step ahead of us and already implemented some kind of safeguard to prevent this. I don't really think they'll just let us, I dunno, waltz through with whatever skillset we want
  16. While I agree that some of the threads have to be more delicately picked, apparently he's talking about the user "Endgame" who came up with an "ingenious idea", not a literal "endgame doomsday device"
  17. If by mashup you mean characters, sort of There is a thread for this somewhere lower down, etc.
  18. There's also one more shared map IIRC, it should be the Paralogues are (somewhat) easy to identify, if there isn't a number in the chapter, it's probably a paralogue. (That, or you're either in the first or last chapter, which should be blatantly obvious)
  19. Paralogues are shared, ala Mozume From what I can tell, shared maps are Nohr Ice Map Building Top Map The
  20. Additional Note, though slightly spoilers as well
  21. Well it's a question of money and what not in the first place really. If the buying skills thing could be cleared up it'd be nice
