  1. Apparently I'm an idiot, for some reason I always thought the Nagi/Katana/whatever bonuses wouldn't show on the screens. Though that's a problem in an of itself, which can "simply" be circumvented by unequipping though For example, in the Ryoma picture, he has the +1 SPD -1 DEF, RES from Katana default, plus the Raijin Katana's +4 STR It has been taken into account though. Each game takes about 25-35 hours? of video footage though, gonna be lots of fun going through the whole thing (though I suppose I could just skillfully do it)
  2. Though technically on a smaller scale, they've done it before in FE7 and FE8, though if you lost the Fire Dragon/Demon King fight, it's a completely different story compared to losing an entire chapter. The whole thing reminds me of something though. Not this one in particular, but in Megaman Battle Network, you also could not save after a certain point. Oh er...right, they've also done it before in the Black Knight fight, though again, the Black Knight fight is just one fight, the final chapter is a completely different story
  3. I think the class bases were already posted to the class thread Some of them anyway.....and the formatting is a bit of a pain
  4. They're not really a problem, more so like, trying to find the names of say, some of the weapons (though they're slowly being added in english) 99% of the reason though, is so that we have both the english and japanese name for the wiki, but that's not as important as the english name itself though
  5. You start as Dark Prince You either Promote into White Blood or Dark Blood, there's no White Prince
  6. There's an imgur album that was posted, it had a bunch of base stats in general. Not sure where it is though, it's somewhere on the forums that's for sure. What's a weapon bonus? Skill bonuses shouldn't be included though, I think, since you can always change those and add them back later anyway
  7. Galeforce is the last skill available from Dark Falcon though, by the time you get it, it'd probably be "too late"
  8. I'm confused, just what is going to be translated? Sorry for being blind as well. Which game are you playing first?
  9. I'm not sure if this is the correct thread for this, but does anyone have the complete list of kanji/kana/whatever for everything? Well everything might be a bit too much There have been translations for the Chapter names, but I'd like the japanese as well. There was a list of weapon names on FEIF wiki in japanese, but it's gone now, so it's a bit sad. Plus Skills as well I think, so many problems. It's not a complete priority though, except for cases where the english name is't known
  10. The Hydra/Anankos thing is just what it is, it might flare up again though. For example, the last few edits on the Mikoto page has been switching back and forth between Hydra and Anankos List of characters, and Garon's page might also, because they're the most connected Assuming I have time later today, I'll probably try to do something about final boss of Hoshido as well (need class name, weapon name, might have to dig through the stream again.). Otherwise I also plan on adding the chapters, from the streams and Kantopia blog
  11. Bit of a long post you have there. It is just "Dragons are magical, so those with some Dragon Blood (I.E. the Royals) have some special powers" Everything does seem more or less so though, not much to say
  12. Ok then, from what I gathered. The last possible point you can save is Chapter 27 (you cannot save in the Endgame, so it means if you play on classic and die in Endgame you gotta replay Chapter 27 again) When you beat the game and everything, there is no option to save, so it's either A: Your stats are saved, or some of them anyway, and you can continue in 27 B: It's just that, you either replay 27 and Endgame or you play around with who knows what.
  13. Not sure if I should crash the thread or not, but I wanted to point out that Jakob (and Azura probably, and maybe even other characters) go up to Level 40. I'm not sure, I saw a Leo at Level 21, and I presume no eternal seals were used (you hardly have 12000 to splurge on Nohr, but I can't confirm). So it's possible that prepromoted characters that don't have "Prepromoted" stats have more Levels.
  14. Well uhm I'll try my best not to spoil In Hoshido, you are on the side of Hoshido, fighting Nohr. The "typical" good kingdom vs bad kingdom I'd say it's good, but it's possible that I'm biased. What I will say is that compared to the others it may be slightly below or above average. In Nohr it's slightly more complicated, because you're technically on the "side of evil" (there is no specific clear cut evil actually, the only evil people are like, Garon, and spoilers) Neither side is perfect, which is why lots of people are sort of fawning over the DLC. Even then, we can probably expect lots of darkness still. And yes, deaths are inevitable. I think there are more deaths than most of the other games so far, though I've only played FE6-13
  15. What I'm more concerned is, it seems like there is a schrodinger scenario? Where both sides "past" is determined by a choice you make. It's either that, I'm missing something, or there is some sort of (possibly handwaved and/or behind the scenes) explanation as to why they are different. I know this isn't the "discuss plot/storyline" thread but the differences between the two versions are rather er..feelable? In Hoshido, it's more of a straightforward plot, though which path has more tragedy (people dying, etc) depends In Nohr, it's not exactly as they advertised, though in a sense you do 'rebel" against Garon. Also the Hydra vs Anankos thing still seems? to be continuing on the FEWiki, wish we could do something about it
  16. Er looks like I double messed up, the files I have aren't named calm, but they are the calm version, so I need the battle version, rip. But yes. It's kind of hard to tell what is what though ..I also think there is a voice clip of lots of sound effects (dragon roars? people's death? misc screams, etc) Maybe it's because I listened to it too much, but I've become more attached to the 1st version of the Endgame OST
  17. Hmm, how odd, now that I checked it, I only seem to have the battle map osts, but not the calm ones. Anyway I'll just comment here then, there are three Endgame Osts, each has slight differences, in the lyrics only it seems There also appear to be four preparation osts, though there are probably more, but I can only recall 3 out of those 4 for now (maybe the other is for the DLC route?) Of those 4, the first two are quite similar, sounds like a progressive one (The second one is like the first, just with an added instrument or so) The map osts are kinda interesting and all as well, otherwise er..I think that's it for now. There also appears to be separate Class Change (promotion) songs for Hoshido and Nohr I'm not sure what would be the DLC route's though. There is one more promotion song that is similar to the previous one, but it only has the one track (the others have both the start, and the stat up part) "One More Thing" anyone know what the ending song (with the vocal) is? "I-It's not like I want it or anything, baka" Update: Nevermind, found it. It's sys theme e1, for me anyway There also appear to be four sets of Aqua's er..short song (10-30 seconds long)
  18. Anyway someone just added that the hooded man who killed Mikoto is Sumeragi, do we really have any proof of that? In other news, is the following correct? Hoshido: Chapter 27, Kamui fights Garon. Garon is defeated, but he transforms into Dragon mode > Endgame Nohr: Chapter 27: Kamui confronts Garon, but he turns out to be just a familiar (from Touma?) Hmm
  19. Anything in particular? I roughly watched both games but nothing comes to mind right now Minor Spoilers maybe, but, if anything, Hoshido might be (it's subjective after all) more ...violency
  20. There seems to be some "Hydra vs Anankos" shenanigans on the wiki right now, how problematic
  21. The game's storyline does seem to expect you to play Hoshido>Nohr>DLC, from what I feel Sort of anyway, you could theoretically jump straight into the third route and miss nothing, but the inverse is that playing Hoshido/Nohr first would result in things being lost, I.E. that's why you play in the above order
  22. I wouldn't say it's so clear cut on which version is more "graphic" than the other Plus I'm not sure if we're focusing on the fanservice, or the violence anymore
  23. Well starting from Awakening itself, there have been less of the "archetypes" so to speak. It seems we have even less in this game, but it's hard to say without spoilers. Though it is kind of obvious that the game doesn't exactly follow the main trend of the previous games (awakening aside) Like, FE13 didn't have an Est character if I remember correctly, nor a very "Gotoh" character either The entire game also runs on the "Arran and Samson" ideology as well, sort of
  24. Hi folks. Just popping in to say a random comment The three versions of Aqua's song (Brave Version) each seem to have different lyrics, as far as I can tell (not entirely different, but the main difference starts at 2:30 or so). Well it makes sense I guess
