  1. I like Felicia more, but she's well..aside from like Magic and maybe Speed, Jakob beats her in every other field. (It also doesn't help that I'm a Female Kamui and hence will only get her in like Chapter 16). She does get props for actually doing Magic Damage though. Helps quite a bit, though Jakob still smacks things pretty hard anyway. It's not like Jakob has that much more survivability, but he still has more though. Felicia's voice is a little interesting though. Hoho
  2. Hai folks, I'm here again to talk more Wiki stuff I'm still in the process of dropping everything in (with no images of course) So, from as far as I can tell, we're probably? Going to need a new format to display the avoid stat? Otherwise that's all though, I'm currently adding everything in the FE13 format for silly reasons. To clarify Katanas: Speed + 1, Defense - 1, Resistance -1 Naginata: Defense + 1, Resistance + 1 Clubs: ? Yumi: Resistance + 2 Spells: ? Shurikens: Speed + 2 I'm also trying to clarify just what happens with the debuffs From what I can tell, using a Shuriken (debuffs enemy) triggers as long as any attack doesn't miss (Dual Guard, auto or shield gauge'd, still causes a debuff). Debuffs do not stack from multiple hits. Self inflicted Debuffs (I.E. Silvers) seem to occur as long as you swing the weapon (I.E. same as weapon exp I guess, miss or damage doesn't count, as long as you swing the weapon). These are once per battle. Skill debuffs (not this thread though) doesn't seem to care, as long as the battle occurs, the debuff will be inflicted. Slightly more on topic: Silver Shuriken (well Shurikens in general) have some mad debuffs. Enemy Speed/Def -4? Yes Please ..Why is the Shuriken named Oboro though? Why people why? They should have had a Nyaruko reference with throwing forks. Maybe the Kunais? In the same vein, Spikes has some ridiculously rad debuffs, -8 Speed and Defense? (and resistance) Debuffing Strength seems to be a bit rare though, they obviously don't want you to do that, but shame Also user and enemy’s double attack threshold +5 What? What's the point of this?
  3. Yeah, even with roughly zero reading of the text you can roughly tell what's going on If we had more dialogue maybe we could see some more explanations. Like, from what I can tell, around like Chap 22 or something?, Xander starts having doubts about the whole thing, which of course, once Ryoma "rips" makes everyone go "We're gonna confront Garon now" or something Otherwise...what can I say...
  4. She immediately caught my attention by being voiced by a certain Rieshon. The fact that I totally can't associate her voice with Rieshon doesn't change anything She's really awesome, for added trollness you can technically try to force Breaking Sky on her. Otherwise ingame, she absolutely destroys everything, the fact that ninjas have cool animations (teleporting? disappearing in puffs of smoke? wowe) is added coolness. As a character, she's a very nice and interesting one as well, being a cool professional of sorts, very uh..(describes) Hohoho. I think I fangirled enough for now though. People were going KAGEPRO in the stream as well, hohoho Bit off tangent, but yes there is an armorslayer Shuriken which OBLITERATES Generals.
  5. Hoshido is kind of brutal though, for all their talk about being the "easier" route, you have like, very few walls (One of the reasons why the stream kept Rinkah was because she actually could take about maybe 3-5 hits before dying). Not that you necessarily have bottlenecks, and relying on dodging ~60-70% hit attacks is a risky thing. Sometimes you can't even take a single hit, so it's problematic.
  6. Thank you very much. I'm not sure how much I can do with it right now though Anyway let me give a big thanks to Vincent of course, I wouldn't have been able to say so many things nor do my 20edits/day without you, fufufufu
  7. Completely forgot about the second generation characters, I keep forgetting them alot I actually like Midoriko alot. The Herb Merchant (and Great Merchant) skills? Not so much. To try and not be so negative, I suppose the class max stats are pretty balanced Generals seem to be like "gods" in this game though, as they can pretty much smash everything with their superior stats while giving no cares about double attack thresholds
  8. Regarding the classes, we seem to have the following new classes missing Butler (because the whole Maid/Butler thing, not sure if we should combine them) Managarmr Herb Merchant (wait are there units that have this as default? I don't recall) Weapon Master Great Merchant Shura Blacksmith Mountain Priest War Priestess Nine Tailed Fox For example, is Holy Bowman> Sniper acceptable? There might be a bit of a problem with Holy Lancer though (I think it's currently set to go to Halberdiers) Oh er, I probably need to dig up the image of the hooded man's class. Spoilers ahead
  9. I'll put it on my list of things to check when I rewatch the streams (not that I have that much time to watch the stream boo hoo, on the plus/bad side, it seems progress is still going along steadily). As it stands, it sounds too good to be true (and horrifying as well for...reasons you'll know) I've yet to see effective damage break the 40 mark (a Silver bow, strength = def equals about 40+ damage, if it were the so called new formula it'd be dealing what, ..at least 50 or 60), so I don't think that's true.
  10. Wait a minute, are you sure about that? I don't recall Takumi having 50s in the numbers, it seems a bit too good to be true I also recall the wyrmslayer guys still doing about 10 damage, if they had those calculations, either they have rubbish str to go with the equation, or they were specced to do 30 damage?
  11. Minor quip, could you possibly put an online version of it, since I can't open it on my computer?
  12. Mostly anyway The growths speak for themselves It says something when Ryoma, a Swordmaster (I'm not calling them trueblades dammit), has more HP and DEF than most of your army Crimson has more base Defense (granted, Crimson is a prepromote and a wyvern lord to boot) than most of your army is going to get at max (Then again I am looking at the more paper defense characters, like Hana and Kagerou. I suppose like, maybe Oboro would have more defense.) Hinata's speed largely sucks for a swordmaster though, so his "slightly better" defense isn't very helpful Jakob (who has more defense that a large number of your units, though remember, the average is barely scraping 40-50% even after class bonuses, it also "doesn't help" that Hoshido classes aren't very General/Tank based either) doesn't pass the 20 mark. Mozume gets points because she is actually all round great at everything, will double pretty much everything theoretically, good str to 1RKO things, can actually take hits, this is starting to sound like the dawn brigade for some reason, when you can actually survive two hits = Tank? Ironically, Sakura ends up with nearly 20 DEF, compared to Elise who has..10 DEF Subaki has trash speed for a Falcoknight Saizou actually has respectable stats, I may have spoke too soon Hinoka is slightly underwhelming, but I suppose when you pass 20 DEF it's a good thing For all the crap I give Asama his growths aren't that bad. Takumi> Setsuna. Takumi actually has more DEF than Hinoka, though I suppose he is a guy after all Hinata apparently went to the same "no speed for your class" school as Subaki Oboro is actually a pretty good all rounder as well Kagerou is actually kinda held back by her stat caps. She would have like, 5 more strength by the end if she didn't have such low caps. Crimson is a prepromote who actually starts with 20 DEF, and actually has growths that don't suck.
  13. So are we just going to put the new Mjollnr in the same Mjollnr page? I've started adding the S Rank weapons to the Wiki, hope there aren't too many problems. The locations appear to be determined for now anyway. The Bif Staff though, seems really silly. We're gonna need to do something about that Update: Wait the Reverse weapons are Hoshido only? I suppose they do need all the avoid they can get Update: "One More Thing" how do we "standardize" the Item Locations? Some say the chapter name, other use the chapter number. Plus this isn't really the place, but do we call them like...Hoshido Chapter 7? Conquest Chapter 7? Or just something like "Darkness Illuminated"? I'm using the last one right now because it seems that way though. Update: "One More Thing~" so how are we going to explain the whole "Katanas are +1 Spd, -1 Def/Res, Naginatas give +1 Def/Res, Yumi give +2 Res? I'm not actually stating the bonuses on top of the Yato/Raijin Katana/Fuujin Bow/etc, so hmm This is getting out of hand. Update: So do we call the "Raijin Katana" a Sword, or a Katana? so troublesome
  14. Last question: Er..it's hard to say since there aren't that many screens, but in terms of stats, there a fairly memorable chapter in Hoshido (Hoshido 14) where there's a group of 20str/def enemies waiting behind a chokepoint at the top of the map. There's dragonvein shenanigans but 20str enemies still hurt.
  15. Hoshido has stats mostly. From what I've been told, don't expect the grinding to be really helpful. The stream I watched didn't use Ryoma at all (Crimson wasn't use alot either), and in general Hoshido units have like no defense and are liable to be 1HKO'd by a 30str general in the endgame or something Mostly nothing can survive 2hkos in Hoshido in any case.
  16. Nohr Chapter 10 I believe. Basically it removes the river as a chokepoint, so it becomes slightly more chaotic
  17. Why hello there, let me try to help you Obviously, Hoshido and Nohr only May not be 100% correct, but roughly anyway (either swap the escape with seize, or swap the rout with defeat boss, it's not too different) Note that, technically, Escape = Kamui must reach target square. Any unit can seize now Prologue: No real objective, it's like a tutorial of sorts Chapter 1: Defeat Boss Chapter 2: Route Chapter 3: Seize Chapter 4: Rout Chapter 5: Rout H6: Defeat Boss H7: Rout H8: Rout H9: Rout H10: Rout H11: Rout H12: Escape H13: Rout H14: Defeat Boss H15: Rout H16: Rout H17: Rout H18: Defeat Boss H19: Rout H20: Defeat Boss H21: Defeat Boss H22: Rout H23: Rout H24: Defeat Boss H25: Defeat Boss H26: Defeat Boss H27: Defeat Boss HE: Defeat Boss N6: Kill 4 units N7: Rout N8: Defeat Boss N9: Seize N10: Defend for 11 Turns N11: Defeat Boss N12: Defeat Boss in 16 Turns N13: Rout N14: Rout N15: ? (All units escape in 20 Turns or Defeat Boss)? N16: Defeat Boss N17: Defeat Boss N18: Defeat all three bosses in 20 Turns N19: Rout N20: Seize N21: All Allies Escape N22: Seize N23: Seize N24: Seize N25: Defeat Boss N26: Seize N27: Defeat Boss NE: Defeat Boss Ninja'd, poor me
  18. Grinding is more problematic simply because the exp system "appears to have been changed" The exp you get drops rather drastically for being overleveled, so trying to simply stuff more levels into your character isn't going to work. I suppose you could still grind Dragonvein points (1 per map I think?) and gold, and weapon levels, and support points, and simply stash your inventories to the brim I also need to double check the class of the hooded man though
  19. It's likely that prepromotes get different Level caps, depending on the situation. From what I can tell, so Ryoma and Xander still cap at 20, because they start with better stats. I can confirm that characters have passed Level 20 without Eternal Seals.
  20. Both Hoshido and Nohr have their last opportunity to save at Chapter 27. I'm pretty sure both sides have no postgame After the credits, you immediately go back to the main screen, and since you can't save, well that's that
  21. Lol me refreshing page like crazy to see if any new comments. Oh well

  22. A new idea that I thought of might be the location, perhaps the location of Nohr's Capital and Hoshido's Capital might influence Garon's ability to transform and/or maintain his "human form"? Aside from that, assuming I have time for it, I guess I'll note down which chapters have the Invisible Soldiers when going through the chapter information. It'll be bare bones though.
  23. Nohr has an Endgame. The save is er..whatever was said above. I can't tell much either though, all I have is looking at other people's games, and most people are tired after spending 25-35 hours on the game "non stop"
  24. Nah, it's just the usual name change thing, just a different variety though. Hydra sounds like a fairly tame name next to things like Grima, Medeus, or sorts
