  1. I think it was already mentioned that the S/A+ Seals only give you access to the main class One main flaw of Breaking Sky is that enemy generals, berserkers, etc, have 0 mag, so it's useless against them. Using Magic anyway. It's still not that bad of a skill
  2. I'm pretty sure we at least have Nosferatu All the Dark Mages are on Nohr though (unless you make Kamui one) so Hoshido probably won't get to use any dark tomes
  3. So many things though More importantly, I don't know about you all but, from what I can tell, compared to Awakening (well it's kinda obvious since we only get 2 classes each by default, rather than 3), the skills available to most (I think) of the units is kinda lackluster of sorts. Like er..maybe it's my own subjective opinion on what skills are good (Stat Sealing isn't exactly a top tier skill), but it seems all sorts of silly (E.g. Great Merchant's skills are kinda....) Presumably the added options from S/A+ could somewhat help, though we need a support chart to see if things can actually go that well It's ironic because I just rebutted myself. Then again, having "1" "good skill" isn't exactly enough Sigh. I do feel that Hoshido has slightly better skills though.
  4. I was all about to say that Nohr and Hoshido aren't too far apart in difficulty (most of the difficulty..well I suppose I could make comments on the game itself but who knows). And suddenly we have to deal with enemies with Counter. Not fun at all. In general anyway, the stat thing does appear interesting though. I don't recall exactly, but in Hoshido, endgame enemies have about 30ish in their stats. same for Nohr, though Nohr has 35STR Berserkers and 35DEF Generals. For example, Nohr Endgame makes you walk across the map on a 7 square wide path with reinforcements flooding in before you can reach the boss Hoshido Endgame you "can" just walk up to the boss and 2RKO. It's hard to say really. In all honesty though, Hoshido still makes Awakening look easy.
  5. Well Takumi outclasses Setsuna by a fair margin. Setsuna can still be a decent/good archer though, though it may have just been lucky stat ups Hoshido is full of glass cannon ish characters anyway. Both of them, Takumi especially, murder flying units, though whether you face that many is another thing. Archers are quite interesting in this game anyway. More on topic, contributions for the Hoshido/3rd side Also some speculation for the 3rd Route, I'd guess that Hana joins you pretty early as well, because Sakura also joins you pretty early In any case, Hana is basically a killing machine in the melee but she's not going to have much luck dodging with a neutral/disadvantaged weapon triangle, dodging is kinda nerfed, so to speak Kagerou, though she is a little late I believe, is basically a killing machine at Range 1 and 2. Might have something to do with the fact that you can easily? farm money to buy Silvers in Hoshido Kamui/Corrin is basically a killing machine, with Dragonstone, etc. As long as the stats go up you can hardly go wrong. Of course, the stats are somewhat overly balanced, but that's for that. Mozume is basically going to ram all her stat caps, but she'll need effort and time, etc. Depends. Most of the other characters are fairly balanced for themselves Continuing on for Hoshido, Crimson, Ryoma, are both cleanly capable of helping once they join, and their growths are not to be trifled with. Nishiki as well, though he doesn't have ranged options. For Nohr, Effie is ridiculously overpowered, walling pretty much everything and smashing everything in two hits. Shame she starts with low base speed, her reclass is rubbish (Rod Knight seriously?). Otherwise Effie is really good. From what I can tell, Zero has ridiculous speed, so as long as he gets good strength, he can snipe things pretty well Camilla is pretty strong, though her magic is a little lacking. Leo is all sorts of overpowered, though his defense is a little lacking. Flannel is broken, super strong. And yes, his daughter is equally strong Finally, Xander, tank, 1-2 Range, high power. His only flaw is that his speed is rather unsatisfactory
  6. Assuming I remember correctly, you can still get support points in Streetpass battles
  7. Er, well from the rubbing scenes I've seen so far, you can barely get past the chest in the first place. Of course, I get the feeling that it might be a *cough* "unlockable"
  8. I see This is the description though, somewhat interesting. Adding it to the wiki now 異界の魔弓。写し身を影として生み出す。 Should have taken a screen of the S Rank Staff. In any case Maurice's Dropbox might have a number of stuff Ganz in Nohr 26 appears to drop the S Rank Axe http://i.imgur.com/T6RirvC.png Iago in Nohr 26 also appears to drop the S Rank Tome http://i.imgur.com/GFFmJpz.png Supposedly the relevant S Rank weapons drop in the respective sides, but it's hard to tell.
  9. Interesting how both (if I remember correctly), Donnel and Mozume had their "accents" Also, very uh..convenient? Ironic? That Saizou hates sweets, but Grey loves sweets.
  10. Hmm, seems that they really don't want you to grind exp. Streetpass seems to be the only one left, even then, not sure. I think the storyline battles still give decent to good exp in any case though.. So grinding seems to be mostly for money, and money is power anyway. And the Dragonvein points, can't forget the Dragonvein points
  11. Spoilers, of course, but I think that'd be the least of our worries Oops I seem to have double posted, after all the stacking of posts up top no less.
  12. Lilith's only gives 300 gold each. I believe each map on Hoshido is "guaranteed" to drop 3000 gold
  13. Asura, not Azura Additional comments, basically Prepromotes have decent to good stats, but only the Siblings have good growths The other prepromotes have between terrible (Gunter) to less satisfactory growths (Yuugiri, Asura, Izana). Crimson does pretty well though for all things considered
  14. If all else fails you can always try to streetpass or something? I believe there are castle skirmishes as well, maybe those will work a little better?
  15. The Downloadable version works that way apparently. You download, then you choose Assuming it's released that way
  16. Er no I don't think it works like that The S Ranks debuff the stats directly, so you'll be using that brave at half Strength? anyway
  17. Can anyone translate the class name for me? Spoilers, of course
  18. It's hard to say. For starters, one thing that I guess should work is that, if you are underleveled, you also get more exp, so it sort of balances out. For example, enemies towards the end of the game could easily give 50exp a kill depending on your levels. Though, it seems on Nohr, it may be difficult to actually use as many characters are you're allowed (about 12-15 in most chapters) It is still somewhat limited, so it requires careful managing, unlike Hoshido where any "problems" can be "rectified" with grinding As for the characters, it's hard to say, everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses of sorts
  19. I can only answer your second question, not that I've tried, but it just says right there that it "halves for the next attack" So every other attack deals bad damage
