    @mampfoid @mcsilas @daisy jane Thanks!  The next project is going to be a good one I think.  It will almost certainly require more orbs though, so time to not summon for a while...

    Amazing summon circle Silas!  All very solid units/fodder too.

    @Zeo Looks like your lucky streak continues!  She's ruined more auto-battle runs than I can count.  I'm sure she'll be an asset even with that -Atk bane.

    @Landmaster Thanks!  Congrats on the Celica too - fortunately she's one of those units who can be a powerhouse no matter what their bane is.

    @Zeo Ha, +Spd is probably a bit too memey for me, but I'm now I'm thinking a bulky owl build might be fun. 

    I had my fingers crossed for you, and I'm really pleased to see you got what you were after with hardly any hassle.  Few things in this game suck more than desperation summoning, and thankfully you avoided it this time.  Looking forward to seeing Leila in action one of these days. 🙂

    Months of saving have led up to this day, the day Ishtar finally returns as a focus unit.  Reinhardt as a shared focus is not ideal, but I got tired of waiting.  This is how we look going into the banner:

    I kept my expectations low - rounds on the summoning simulator suggest that my orb count will be enough to get the 10 copies I need most of the time, but I can't let that get my hopes up.  (lots of images in spoiler below)

    #10:  ...And that's that.  10 copies of Ishtar in less than 1,000 orbs.  Considering my last mass summoning session required 700 orbs just to get the one thing I wanted, I feel absolutely vindicated.  That being said, it wouldn't be a mass summon without pity breakers.  Along the way I also got:

    Reinhardt (blue) x10
    Kliff
    Adrift M!Corrin
    Brave Lyn

    Also managed to pull two copies of Altena, who will be a merge project in time.  Along with the 10 Ishtar this means my 5* rate was about 11%.  If the Reinhardt copies were any indication, I definitely had my reservations going into this banner, but I am beyond pleased with the results.  Two questions now remain.

    +Atk or +Spd Ishtar?
    I already have Reinhardt at +10...but now I can make a second.  Do I really want to do that, or are they just expensive Goad Cav/Blazing Thunder fodder?  Could go for a jank defensive build with +Def or +Res

    Time to start saving for the next project.

    Congrats.  Those kind of painful, desperate summoning session are part of what turned me into an orb hoarder.  Finally getting what you want feels like relief, rather than elation.  Oh well, maybe if they win the Hero Rises you can fix that poor nature, or have some primo fodder.

    Does anyone know the odds for pulling a specific blue focus unit on a 3-unit banner when color-sharing is involved, and how it differs with no color-sharing?  Specifically, the upcoming Ishtar & Reinhardt BHB banner (Ishtar, Reinhardt, Swordhardt).  I'm considering pouring a lot of orbs into it going for Ishtar merges, but I'm not sure it's worth the risk considering I already have the other blue focus at +10...  

    You can add one Genalogy unit to Thracia, and add one Thracia unit to Genealogy. Who do you choose, and where?

    Seconding this suggestion.  I would be inclined to take it a step further and include Sarah's parents as playable Gen I characters as another canon couple.  Could be a neat way to explore Manfroy's motivations and thought process (and the Loptr church in general) earlier on.  Would also help answer the question of

    why Manfroy felt it necessary to kill Sarah's father.

    I'm kind of in the same boat.  My original plan when they announced this banner was to get his 6000 feathers + 40 flowers and turn him into a manual.  Then it came out that he has a strong dragon-slaying weapon with what, 37 Atk?  Plus like you say his fodder value isn't great.  At this point I feel like I'd get more use out of him to one-shot dragons in AA.  Still undecided, but for now he'll stay around.

    Definitely.  Dragon-slaying weakness makes him a little tricky to use sometimes, but otherwise he's a super satisfying unit!

    Those are...certainly some units.  I was surprised to see Clive nearly one-round Sigurd...power of Vanguard I suppose.

    I've always found it difficult to muster much excitement for CYL where the four winners are concerned.  It's an excuse for popular characters to add to their alt collection or a celebration of Heroes OCs I couldn't care less about.   The overall top 100 and how the most requested characters by game shifts is much more interesting to me, and is where fans of less popular characters can make a real difference.  In previous years I spread my votes all over the place, but this time it's all in on Salem.

    @Landmaster A nice, clean 2-turn clear!  The turn 1 charge was very bold indeed, and I'm surprised regular Elise didn't even have to activate Miracle to get through that enemy phase.  Speaking of Miracle, all that splash damage was a very clever way to get around Sigurd's own attempt at holding on. 😃

    I wish my own unit was as resilient against that green dagger.  I could have gone Serpent instead, but this time I refuse to out of principle.  That aside...I think going forward I will be tackling BHBs with the J&I duo, while J&J handle the GHBs.  Not all of them will be worth recording/posting, but I can't resist a good Jugdral map.

    I love the Ch. 5 music too much to consider changing it.

    I started watching the vid before reading the description and didn't understand what Ophelia and Owain had to do with it until he blurted out his special line.  The imposter Mystletainn definitely outshines the original here. =P
