My personal least favorites from each? Birthright - Ch 23: EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE. Also Arthur and Effie are suicidal idiots, but eventually I gave up trying to keep them alive. Perhaps ironically, Arthur wound up surviving anyway thanks to some lucky crits against Beruka and a random Sorceror. Conquest - The one with the Kitsunes. I didn't find the infamous Chapter 10 nearly as hard as this one. Revelations - I'm gonna say I hate the one with the red and blue doors simply because A) that last trollish bit almost killed me and B) I didn't know you can get Boots until it was too late.

Robin and Lucina probably have blushes simply as holdover from their Awakening portraits. Unless Marth and Ike have them too, in which case they were probably just in case the units could show up in the hot springs or be supported. No idea on Garon, Iago, and other NPCs, though.

One more deployment slot available? I vote Master of Arms Yukimura. Edit: Or better yet, if you have no marriage plans for Corrin yet, Bow Knight Yukimura.

Skill inheritance isn't as critical as it was in Awakening thanks to skill purchasing, but assuming you want them to start out with some good skills, I'd go with Astra and Rally Resistance for Ophelia, and Bowbreaker and Seal Magic for Forrest unless you intend to immediately turn him into an offensive powerhouse, in which case Vengeance and Lifetaker. I'm operating under the assumption that, aside from Odin, the parents haven't been reclassed.

Odin and Laslow mention their convo from Harvest Scramble, and Laslow's support with Saizo references his old supports with Brady and Gerome of all things. Some of the Awakening Trio's supports mention Grima's defeat, as does Hidden Truths part 1, but it's never stated whether Grima was destroyed by Robin or sealed by Chrom. Also, regarding your prior question... Just to clarify, you need to have Corrin reach A-rank with Kaze BEFORE you start Chapter 15. Kaze's a bit of a special case in that, due to some spoilerrific events that occur in Chapter 15 of Birthright, Midori's paralogue doesn't become available until after you pass that point.

You don't HAVE to play those two first, but I recommend it. Revelations is intended as a sort of finale route and assumes you've played the other two narratively. My question: How many weapon/staff uses are required to go up in each weapon rank now?

Collecting Aptitude on all my dudes. I still need Ryoma, Azama, Charlotte, Saizo, Leo, Shura, Xander, Niles, Keaton, Silas, Setsuna, Jakob, Peri, Hinoka, Camilla, and Flora. And for those folks playing Birthright, I need Izana, Yukimura, and Scarlet.

Thought so. I'll avoid buying it, then. I only buy Aptitude because it has no in-battle effect. :P

Been meaning to ask, I've seen Hoshido Unity on a few characters. Is that legal on anyone outside of Corrin and their potential kids, or is that hacked just like Aptitude on everyone?

Eeyup. Basara's a bit unfortunate; both of the Spear Fighters promote to Spear Master, and all three Diviners promote to Onmyoji. Blacksmith's rather silly, though; why did they only give us one Oni Savage character? Though I suppose it's not as bad as Awakening having a whopping zero Barbarians/Berserkers. Even Basilio was a Warrior via Fighter, not Barb.

The total amount of "guest" units you can have active is 20, right? If so that's a problem for me. 13 bosses + 4 amiibo + Yukimura, Izana, Scarlet, and Rhajat (Hayato's the bachelor) = 21. Or are amiibos not included in that total? Only-tangentially-related, but is Daichi a Basara via Spear Fighter, or Diviner?

DLC classes are permanently added to the unit's list of classes. So you could use a Dread Scroll to turn Marth into a Dread Fighter, then Heart Seal Back to Lodestar, then if you wanted Heart Seal back to Dread Fighter with no need for another scroll.

How do you even 69 a boulder?

As a general rule each character's "canon" promotion (The one that gets a unique model, and is encountered as a lategame enemy in the opposite route) is almost always their base class's more logical promotion, like Samurai -> Swordmaster rather than Samurai -> Master of Arms. Exceptions being Bow Knight Selena, Great Knight Peri, and Hero Arthur. The "in-between" or more divergent-from-base classes like Mechanist, Great Knight, Kinshi Knight, Master of Arms, Malig Knight, Dark Knight, and Maid/Butler are usually reserved for prepromotes.

Can you buy skills onto amiibo units from other people's castles? I was hoping to get Aptitude onto Marth, Ike, Robin, and Lu Cena, but I don't have the means to hack that in myself.
