If it's anything like the skills, the game will let you use classes that can be acquired through regular gameplay even if they're character locked or gender locked.For example, my Female Avatar has Ignis which is only learned by a Male exclusive class.

Somewhere in this, you mentioned requests! Any objections to my Avatar (note the armour in place of the shirt if you agree to this) and Selena? Since... you've got 2 out of 3 of them. Might as well make it the full trio, right?

The fact of the matter is that I'm rarely on here and never post my personal ideas publicly. Just in a chat with my friend on Facebook. Unequip his Accessories, then battle, then reapply them, then battle again. It should fix the problem.

You know something? If I didn't know any better, I'd swear that game developers follow me around to the point where if I come up with an idea, within the next few years, I'll see it in a game. The same is said for my friends. A friend of mine writing a fanfic that was to be taken in a new direction from the games decided he was going to write in Kitsunes as a new shape-shifter race. Eventually Fates was announced and later still, we learn of Kaden and Selkie. I personally did a similar thing, where I wrote a fanfic, my Awakening Avatar isn't considered the main character in Awakening in the fanon lore, but instead, I gave him the gift of foresight (with more drawbacks to it that it could be a hindrance more than a help, especially by comparison) to up his usefulness as a prospective Tactician. Again, this was far before Fates was even known about outside of Nintendo, yet Anankos has the very ability with no drawbacks (because Antagonist Plot armour). It's not just Fates this has happened with those two are my best examples. Either my friends and I are REALLY good at predicting the Future. Or we're being spied on/watched. There is no way these circumstances are pure coincidence.

I actually meant the logo that represents the Smash Bros. franchise, but this is cool too! :D The Smash Emblem Falchion would definitely go great with a Marth badge.

According to Hidden Truths 1 he appeared in Ylisstol castle one day and said "Please save my Kingdom." then the trio that went to Fates have to go and meet him under the Mila tree. The rest is basically as it shows in the content itself.

These are really cool. I think Marth should also be featured here but these alone deserve praise.

He's got about as much personality as a chalkboard. Sad really since his addition to Awakening's roster lets him talk to the player... and Walhart and Yen'fay in DLC pieces. Anyone else is either immemorable or unimportant (not counting generic Father-Son bonding with Male Morgan). I'd have liked him to have been able to associate with Gregor, Walhart, Frederick and Basilio in supports to help build his character. But I did say earlier that it had to be child characters from Awakening. 2nd Gen in Awakening to be 1st Gen in Fates, that was the condition they worked under.

That spoiler though... It doesn't even matter about Chrom and Lucina needing fanservice inputs either way. Before Awakening and Lucina's amiibo did just that! Plus, as I remember reading somewhere, it was decided it had to be second gen characters to bring over. Honestly, I'd've been fine with seeing Priam again so we could get character some more development going on but... I guess that's out of the question...

Just an observation/idea for you. You said that playing as the Heroes is optional? Could that suggest a mode where you exclusively play as them? If so, would it be loaded from the menu like selecting a story route from the beginning of the game? On that note (and I know that you said you'd rather not unveil anything regarding classes), is the idea to have the Heroes in their own unique classes? Under your ideal conditions. A fair while back now, I came up with pretty much the same idea, but I don't have the resources or capability to do very much for it. I'm glad someone has. EDIT: After posting this comment and going to check other things it dawned on me. A name suggestion: Fire Emblem: The Scouring.

I'd personally prefer his Awakening portrait. On that note, I don't necessarily mind how this has turned out but... the eyes...

What about a Vallite Emblem? I'm fairly sure there's one on the title screen for Revelation or something isn't there?

Any extra content such as DLC is saved on the SD Card as Extra Data for the game in question.

Inigo actually offers Soleil the chance to return with him and meet his mother, despite the fact that she's 'dead' Owain says something similar to Ophelia if I remember rightly. Hidden Truths even alludes a little to it with how Anankos mentions that they might not even see their reward from him or how they might not be able to decide where to return to, their ruined future that's now got an abundance of flowers and gravestones for fallen heroes or where they started before setting out to join him. I really don't think they told anyone. Any of the Shepherds would have happily volunteered to go and help without hesitation. Lucina would likely have started a third side herself, providing a 4th path had she gone with them. Since she's a leader and all. What bothered me is the necessity for any name changes. Aside from Before Awakening, they REALLY weren't needed and even then, Owain's a fast thinker and the others would have come up with something. I really don't see why they did it.

I do that because anyone that sees it knows from reading it that they've helped me in some way.

Though I've gained myself a fair bit of experience in the franchise overall (since starting with Awakening a few years back) it's nice to see this information put out there. It gives me a mental set to focus on when playing other entries. Thanks. :D

You could always have your card say "Thanks for visiting." or something to that effect. Bond Units are pretty simple in conception. If you started the interactions and get a bond unit, they will as well when they next give you a gift. I've noticed that thing about the feedback as well, but I think nothing of it.
