  2. They actually moved all Lets play and tag teams of FE from FE boards to this board???????? RIP old FE boards. I strongly disagree with this change.
  3. Intelligent system is a real important part of Nintendo and FE is Int sys favorite/dearest franchise. Everytime they make a game they wonder how to get the game done while keeping the essence of FE in the game. And as long as they keep thinking like that I will believe Int sys will deliver a game I will proudly play. On your main concerns tho. Yes Nintendo does care for FE because is Int sys favorite franchise. There have been many time Int sys and Nintendo have discussed about how to make FE sell more (I.E. removing perma death). You can see this in their interviews for past FE games. Shadow dragon Iwata ask is my favorite because Sakurai made that interview! When you say you feel ashamed of a simple game like FE:A... I for one am proud of that game and you should be too! for multiples of reasons! From saving the franchise, having most content of any FE game so far (chapters, skills, fanservice, supports, they really went all out with this one), they even got legacy characters to sparkle new fans curiosity on those who were the stars of past games. I am not gonna force you to be proud about it, but there are more reasons to love it and be proud of it than feel shame for little hardcore reasons (balancing issues). I can see why would you fear devs think "This is gonna be just another entry" but following awakening success... if us fans were so happy that it did not die... I hope they are happy to make another FE game! and hope they still dream on making a return to home consoles like in FE10 interview by making this game an appropiate sequel. IMO Awakening had the most groundbreaking change in the series... pair up! I cannot what kind of hell they went to actually push this overpowered feature in game and the balance needed to keep up with the challenge as past FE games. Lets not forget reworked reclass and skill system. You really cannot say FE:A went the safe route. I strongly believe this won't be a cash-in based only on the fact that they want to keep the series running. Disclaimer... hopefully post is readable

Int sys should know how to make these games work. opefully they are not to scared of the idea to live up to awakening success that forget the essence of FE (you know that shit they always mention on their damn interviews)

  6. I personally liked to think that FE13 had hidden growth modifiers for each pair up partner/class. I believe it could be applied if we get to see pair up ever again.

  11. FE12 Lunatic and Lunatic reverse put emphasis on player phase by buffing all enemy stats but def/res/luck to insane levels enough to make most durable units 2HKO until midgame. Having a hit in durability means you do not want to engame many enemies on enemy phase, you want to manipulate enemy AI targets. Every enemy unit needs to be planned out before playing the chapter. On lunatic reverse vantage+ on every enemy means indirect combat is key agaisnt 1 range enemies on player phase just to not take damage on Player phase. On another note, Snipers have insane durabilty and would not have issues surviving 1 hit, they need very little investment in that. Bows is basically full power 2 range without mage crappy durability. There is no much fear moving a sniper full 7 move. Archers have 5 move for some crappy reason (its for prologue archers to not murder you) and hunters are superior for bow training. Since begining of game. You are given lots of 1 range units, and 1 bow user (ryan) they encourage the player to use him since is the only 2 range weapon that exist in prologue (no gordin does not exist). Since chapter 2 you start facing promoted draco knights (a steel bow forge is best method to take them out) these dracos appear in chapter 3, 5, 7, 9. Wyverns appear in chapter 11, 12, 13. Thats 8 full chapters where your steel bow is OHKO'ing or feeding kills to others. Best forge ever. Also since its only D rank a fresh promotes sniper/horseman can rekt with it. Snipers get 29 spd cap, 5 crit and hit class bonus, excellent bases, Base C rank bows, Parthia available since chapter 9. In fact bows are so OP that the only indirect nerf is lack of longbow until chapter 20x. If longbow was available sooner some incredible map design would be no more like Chapter 17 initial draco knights (you can snipe them with longbow otherwise better rig crits with fliers) And sorry if some of this is unreadable.
  12. Well for DLC chars nthing stops you from beating the DLC and saving them straight into logbook for easy access, ofc this will raise their recruit price from 0 lol.

  14. I would say that in those cases you cannot capture you are not using the capture command.
  15. Sure you can call all thracia, H5 FE11, H4 FE12 easy too. We all can number the amount of resources and OP units you have at the game but you have to reset a lot in any of those and I admire you if you can still say it was "2easy". Thing with this chapter: Is a simple defend 10 turns. On every side from turn 1 to 6, 4 units appear each turn 24 units per side, 23 initial armor knights enemies, bosses with master weapons, 3 psychic/libro assholes, 4 ballista that one shot every flier that try to approach with not iffy 75 base accuracy and cover each other range, trolll dark mages reinforcements at turn 9. The dragon lance and boss trolling the players. Sure the chapter can be played really safe and beaten but you have to suffer for the good stuff. And even then you get overwhelmed by sheer amount of frustration for 10 turns straight.

Sometimes the effort put on a single chapter can go unnoticed.
  17. The game makes enough references to the first game in the prologue and base convesations. With confidence just play straight to this game, then decide if both of them are worth a replay.

  20. dunno, I am ok with RNG abuse for hits, crits, and lv up gains in DS FE (too addictive, wi-fi golden age) but these glitches let you control the enemies... is cool but not as cool as dondon manipulating AI like a boss. His runs never disappoint tho, I believe he can make it interesting and actually finish this time.
  21. Guys the obvious solution is that dondon has to do two runs, one using the glitch and one without. Voted no at first and now I have seen the truth! so go for it!
  22. Pretty sure everyone lost interest in this... And lolmichalis cannot distract meteors with 2 luck... he is facing 13% crit since dem sorcs have capped skill. And by the time you get michalis is the easiest part of game... endgame, I mean if you got there you are likely looking with a big smile on your face at all the necesary charges of again and rescue needed to trivialize last 3 maps. And isn't bottom tier just the old free silvers renamed? As in no one ever bothered to tier them appropiately. We could throw gold into any of them for shits and giggles and use some of them like Samson or Astram without problem. At least you could use most of them for more than 2 maps haha. Also glower can only be forged up to 20 MT and wi-fi is dead.
